01/06/2025: La prima cena in questo ristorante storico di Chieti è stata più che positiva. Il locale è molto accogliente. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e veloce. Squisite le uova con bastardone e salsiccia di fegato. La tagliata di controfiletto Uruguay ottima e servita benissimo. Dessert una piacevole sorpresa.
22/05/2025: We periodically go to Chieti from Taranto and it is always a pleasure to return to TEATE. Excellent pizza and catering at the right price. Kindness and cordiality always guaranteed. Maximum availability for everything.

Professional, courteous and fast service.
Dishes are of the highest level, quality of raw materials, variety of choice between traditional and revisited dishes, possibility of customization and more than satisfactory portions.
There is care in everything, from the service to the location.
Highly recommended, also for the price.
I will definitely be back

Beautiful location and that's where the fun ends.
•Hasty and incompetent staff run around the room like in a marathon creating an atmosphere of chaos and anxiety.
They abandon the dishes on the corner of the table and take the plate away from under your nose without asking.
•Margherita pizza with mozzarella that didn't melt but remained rubbery and burnt edges.
•Poor quality arrosticini, tasteless and undercooked.
•Non-existent wine selection by the glass.

01/06/2025: Excellent value for money in a setting with no more than thirty seats. Absolutely recommended a first course with Orapi as a condiment, really excellent grilled cheeses. Very tasty baked potatoes.
To finish the superlative desserts in particular the zabaglione accompanied with coffee and the ricotta and black cherry cake. Absolutely recommended, also the reservation

Classic Abruzzo culinary proposal with a touch of originality.
Medium-large portions and adequate final bill.
However, not having the Varnelli anise is unforgivable (I'm joking though if they had had it ...).
Very pleasant atmosphere and excellent service.
All under the guidance of the founder, Mr. Pio with ancient charisma.
In short, well done, deserves it!

29/05/2025: I was at dinner last night with a friend and Pietrino is always a guarantee. High quality raw materials, in an environment where you feel the warmth of home and honest prices. The first courses are excellent but the must for me are the arrosticini... first choice sheep meat cut by hand, something more unique than rare!
