04/04/2024: We went to this restaurant on the Saturday before Easter, it is located in the characteristic village of Tortoreto Alto, parking is easy to find, the view is very beautiful, it dominates the entire valley below until you reach the sea, the menu is very varied I personally preferred a land appetizer and a cut of meat, both very good, to spend a nice day and then have lunch or dinner with a beautiful view is optimal.

Dinner for two with an appetizer
chiacchiere and raw ham followed by a slice of entrecote with porcini mushrooms and one with rosemary, both weighing approximately 300 g.
We accompanied the meat with focaccia (oil and rosemary) instead of bread and it deserves a lot.
Millefeuille for dessert, water and coca cola in a carafe for 75 euros (the owner also gave us a discount on the total)

31/03/2024: The welcoming and familiar atmosphere made me feel at ease straight away. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, demonstrating a real passion for their work. The cuisine is a true riot of local flavours, from fresh pasta to game dishes; everything is prepared with skill and passion.
But what really struck me and my faithful four-legged friend was the friendliness towards animals. Not only are the dogs welcomed, but they are treated with respect and affection.
In short, Il Guado della Valle is a place where courtesy and hospitality blend with a passion for good food and love for animals.

30/03/2024: Questo ristorante è stato una piacevole scoperta. A partire dal personale molto giovanile e il titolare Francesco sono delle bravissime persone che si rendono a disposizione per tutto!! La.qualita del cibo è davvero ottima. Tutto fresco e genuino. Appena ritorneremo in zona di sicuro ci fermeremo a mangiare nuovamente al Guado!! Consigliatissimo!!!

03/04/2024: Excellent inn in the center of the village. The place has tables only inside. It is advisable to book, especially during the busiest periods (Christmas and summer). The crumbled artichoke is exceptional, as is the meat. The staff is courteous and helpful

Dal momento in cui ho varcato la soglia, sono stato accolto con un servizio impeccabile e un'atmosfera super accogliente. Il menu ricco di prelibatezze, primi atomici, prendere le chitarre al tartufo un sapore unico, mi ha deliziato con sapori intensi e piatti perfettamente preparati. Ogni boccone era un'esplosione di gusto e la presentazione dei piatti era impeccabile. Il personale super cortese e attento ha reso il mio pranzo ancora più piacevole. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante a tutti gli amanti della buona forchetta, è un'esperienza che non deluderà le aspettative."

02/04/2024: All very good overall. Starter with amazing cured meats and soup, shame the courgette flan was missing and in its place a very heavy liver roll. The Teramo pasta seasoning is very good, the Genoese ravioli is definitely not, with the color of baby food... honest prices and discreet service.
31/01/2024: Cozy, comfortable and well-kept place, fortunately not mainstream, in a splendid location. Very kind staff, raw materials of undoubted quality deliciously prepared respecting tradition, with the right touch of contemporaneity. Low prices, with a quality-price ratio that turns out, in my opinion, to be one of the best in the area. It's worth a try, you will be pleasantly surprised.

The staff is very friendly, kind and above all very knowledgeable and is very dedicated to the customer.. in our case they carefully illustrated all the courses to us, starting from the appetizers or arriving at the sweet.. truly a fantastic experience and one to be repeated.. Very high quality food.. We hope to return soon to this pearl of Ovindoli, a stone's throw from the central square..
16/03/2024: Restaurant in Ovindoli, really nice and characteristic. Excellent food, excellent service, prices a little higher than the average of others in town, but it's worth it all, for the quality, professionalism and courtesy of the staff. Absolutely worth trying.

09/01/2024: Maestoso e meraviglioso. Lode innanzitutto a tutto il personale sia della sala sia di cucina. Partiamo col dire che le porzioni erano abbondanti e tutti i piatti sono stati buonissimi, eccellenti e all'altezza. Le pappardelle al cinghiale erano una roba micidiale molto buone. Si sente inoltre che la materia prima è fresca, locale e di alta qualità. I prezzi all'apparenza possono sembrare alti ma per la qualità offerta direi che non solo non lo sono ma sono giustissimi. Il servizio molto professionale menù dei vini e anche il menù molto variegato. Anche il tiramisù inoltre è stato buonissimo così come gli arrosticini e le patatine fritte. Penso che questo sia uno dei pochi ristoranti in Abruzzo dove si può dire che si è mangiato la vera cucina abruzzese / dei veri piatti Abruzzesi locali. Il locale molto Instagramabile devo dire e ha quel tocco di modernità molto bello così come anche i quadri e gli elementi decorativi sono molto belli. Complimenti ancora e spero di ritornare presto. Unica accortezza le pizze non sono disponibili durante i giorni infrasettimanali ed é un peccato specialmente per chi non lo sa. Per il resto continuate così.

Ideal both for the evening, in company or intimacy, and for a business lunch.
The traditional dishes are excellent and in generous portions.
The offer of wines is abundant.
The walk in the surrounding area is very pleasant.
If you can get there on foot, much better.

Beautiful small restaurant with attention to detail with the possibility of eating in a small room carved into the rock. Typical dishes revisited with care using refined products from the good quality cellar area. Logically higher prices than common restaurants but fully justified by the quality they offer.
