For work I have been working in the restaurant business for thirty years. If I wanted to give Francesco a review, I would take inspiration from an old advertisement that defined the Golf as a "DAS" Auto; for me Poggio del Sole is "DAS" Restaurant.

We have been going to this beautiful restaurant for many years, indeed very many, where we eat excellently with quality products, a wide choice of dishes, the kindness and professionalism of the owners Francesco and Anita.

I brought my woman to Poggio del Sole for the first time. She didn't know the location so it was new to her. We can declare without any fear of contradiction that the welcome was exquisite and impeccable, the location next to the lit fireplace was like a painting, all extremely fascinating. the food was of the highest quality with products that are difficult to find but strictly from Abruzzo. the white truffle risotto expertly plated by chef Angelini Francesco after an appetizer of typical local cheeses and cured meats was exquisite. Another first course served in a fantastic way with ancient flavors was the molinara with broccoli and saffron pistils with fresh ricotta. Consequently we were served a wonderful veal stew with Montepulciano. To conclude as a dessert, Chantilly cream with crunchy puff pastry. Everything is excellent, considering the excellent quality of the products the price is really reasonable. I highly recommend visiting him. You will not regret it

Tutto veramente al top, salumi e formaggi da sogno, arrosticini di qualità, pasta e secondi di carne semplicemente ortimi

Posto perfetto per mangiare alla buona, particolarmente la cucina abruzzese. Abbiamo infatti preso antipasti, arrosto misto, arrosticini, patate al forno, un paio di bottiglie di vino. Servizio corretto, cibo incredibilmente leggero nonostante non ci siamo andati leggeri noi. Conto di circa 40 euro a testa. Atsmosfera alla mano. Molto consigliato.
