06/01/2026: The best sushi place in Lucca and the surrounding area. I've been there many times and it has never disappointed me. Excellent quality fish and very friendly waitresses. I highly recommend it!

04/11/2025: In Viareggio, we were looking for a kiosk... but we couldn't find one: the kebabs didn't inspire us, so we chose this little Chinese restaurant where we had lunch with the all-you-can-eat option. Everything was good/average. The staff was friendly. The restaurant is a bit dated, as I recall, and there was limited space between the tables.

02/05/2026: Hands down the best Chinese meal we had in Florence! After a long day of walking and visiting galleries, we were exhausted and craving something comforting, and this place exceeded all expectations. We ordered mapo tofu, yuxiang shredded pork, and a dry pot, and every dish was packed with authentic flavor and great wok hei—exactly what we needed. The mapo tofu was rich and perfectly spicy, the yuxiang shredded pork had that classic sweet-savory balance, and the dry pot was crispy and delicious, all great with rice. What made it even better was the owner, who was so kind and welcoming. We arrived late, but they were still open and made us feel so welcome, which was such a nice touch after a tiring day. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Chinese food in Florence, especially if you’re a tourist looking for a late meal, this is the spot. Highly recommend to anyone craving home-style comfort food in the city!

02/06/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance; we were skeptical at first, but then we were convinced by the reviews: it was a super disappointing experience. Not much to say about the food, average for all-you-can-eat restaurants. The atmosphere and service were terrible: we were seated at a table in a dark corner of the restaurant. The paper menu was greasy and sticky, and water was dripping from the ceiling, not far from where we were sitting. For this alone, we should have left without ordering. Unfortunately, the late hour got the better of us, so still hoping we'd get something decent, we ordered. The waitress came once to take our order (which was done in accordance with the restaurant's rules, so with an appropriate number of dishes), but some items never arrived, and subsequent requests to reorder (at least for the items that hadn't arrived) were ignored. The staff came into the room to serve other tables but didn't even answer when called. In the end, we gave up and left (starving). For €30 a head, there are countless nicer places where you can eat better quality food and perhaps even be treated better. This experience is not recommended and should not be repeated.

08/05/2026: I was there a couple of times during my stay and the "all you can eat" offer is incredible. The sushi was very delicious.

11/06/2026: A place I stopped by just when I was missing Korean food! The kimchi stew tasted exactly like the one I used to eat in Korea haha. There is a Korean staff member, so ordering is easy. I highly recommend visiting if you are tired of pasta and pizza!

03/06/2026: With Koreans getting tired of Italian food, a Korean restaurant is like a godsend. Since it is located downtown, parking was very difficult, but finding the restaurant itself wasn't hard. Kimchi stew, stone pot bibimbap, stir-fried squid, and pork ribs Getting four dishes for under 80 euros isn't bad. The side dishes were decent, and of course, bibimbap is a dish that simply can't taste bad. The pork in the kimchi stew was decent even though it was shabu-shabu style, and while the squid wasn't mind-blowing, I was grateful just to be able to eat Korean food. The sticky tables are a characteristic of older Korean restaurants, but I wish they would be a bit better at maintenance. If you are tired of tasteless pizza, pasta, and meat, go to a Korean restaurant. We held out on ramen for a while before finally coming here. We should have come sooner.

19/04/2026: So let's start with the fact that they were very kind to let me put the scooter in storage so as to avoid it being stolen. The service was friendly and fast, the food an 8 out of 10 but very filling. The portions are customizable in terms of size. The atmosphere is not bad but it could be better. Let's say the necessary is there, you can talk easily, the only flaw is the ordering method is a little unintuitive for a person coming for the first time. It could be changed a bit, perhaps with special tablets placed there so you can order individually instead of having to do it from a single phone. However, for the price, quality, let's say excellent. I would go back.

02/05/2026: I just ordered 3 rice with shrimps and I don't even see a single shrimp. I'm sorry but if you make rice with shrimps there must be something that doesn't make fun of customers. I won't order anymore.

17/05/2026: La Grande Cina was a pleasant surprise. I went there without high expectations, but I must say I quickly changed my mind. The place is spacious, comfortable, and easy to get to, although parking can be a bit inconvenient. As for the food, however, there's nothing to complain about: everything is very good, and the quality is evident from the first course. Despite being an all-you-can-eat restaurant, the dishes are carefully prepared, fresh, and made to order. From hot to cold dishes, you can taste the attention to the quality of the ingredients. The service is another great strength: extremely fast, organized, and efficient. The only real negative, unfortunately, is the coffee. I always enjoy it at the end of a meal, but in this case, it lacked the aroma, body, and bold flavor that a good coffee should have. It's the only flaw in an otherwise very positive experience. Overall, a recommended restaurant for the quality of the food, speed of service, and excellent overall experience.
