The environment is elegant but welcoming, with a design with attention to detail that creates a perfect atmosphere both for a romantic dinner and for an evening with friends. The menu is a journey through oriental flavors revisited with a contemporary touch. Each dish is presented with great care and the flavors are balanced, intense, never banal. Highly recommended are the dim sum, delicate and full of flavour, and the Peking duck, served in a spectacular way. The wine and cocktail list is also up to par: excellent selection and attentive service in recommending the right pairing. The staff is professional, friendly and always available to explain the dishes and guide you in your choice. You can perceive attention to the customer and the desire to offer a complete experience, not just a meal. Prices in line with the quality of the experience: it's not cheap, but every euro is well spent. Mandarino is the ideal place for those looking for refined Asian cuisine and a classy atmosphere in Florence. I will definitely come back.

L’ambiente è elegante ma accogliente, con un design curato nei dettagli che crea un’atmosfera perfetta sia per una cena romantica che per una serata tra amici. Il menu è un viaggio tra sapori orientali rivisitati con un tocco contemporaneo. Ogni piatto è presentato con grande cura e i sapori sono equilibrati, intensi, mai banali. Consigliatissimi i dim sum, delicati e pieni di gusto, e l’anatra alla pechinese, servita in modo spettacolare. Anche la carta dei vini e dei cocktail è all’altezza: ottima selezione e servizio attento nel consigliare l’abbinamento giusto. Il personale è professionale, cordiale e sempre disponibile a spiegare i piatti e a guidarti nella scelta. Si percepisce attenzione al cliente e voglia di offrire un’esperienza completa, non solo un pasto. Prezzi in linea con la qualità dell’esperienza: non è economico, ma ogni euro è ben speso. Mandarino è il posto ideale per chi cerca cucina asiatica raffinata e atmosfera di classe a Firenze. Tornerò sicuramente.

06/04/2025: We used to go there often when we were at the seaside...I'm speaking in the past tense because today it will certainly stop...Due to family problems my husband was alone at lunch today and despite there being many free and unbooked tables he was told that JUST ONE CANNOT HAVE LUNCH AND OCCUPY A TABLE.....Are you serious?? No lunch....I won't say anything else...lost customers..

23/01/2025: Chinese restaurant that I remember having always been there (going back 20 years), good food and more than honest prices. Revisited this evening and what can I say; I reaffirm my opinion.

04/04/2025: Came here looking for veggies lol. Needed to have veggies in our diet because all the pasta and pizza was too carb heavy. This place has some authentic Chinese dishes, but definitely has some westernized dishes. We got the beef chow fun, Cantonese fried rice, rice cake noodles (lean goh in canto/gnocchi is what they call it in Italy), sweet and sour chicken for the kids, half a peking duck, chicken wings, and veggies. Good taste overall and definitely got our Chinese craving fulfilled. The west lake beef and chicken corn soup should be passed on. They weren't very good. Good service too.

31/03/2025: I ordered shrimp ravioli and rice noodles with vegetables: everything was delicious, the staff was super nice and helpful. I highly recommend it :)

23/04/2025: I have an allergic niece and I warned the kitchen about her allergies, they didn't pay any attention so I was vomiting all night, I add it looks like a luxury item but for the amount you spend it's not a good restaurant

08/04/2025: The food was very good, very light and not heavy, the guy was very friendly and always attentive to needs, the place was very clean. The environment was a little less hidden and not a nice place but it was very convenient also because it was close to the station for the first time, it was really good, I would really recommend it. And thank you for your hospitality ✌🏼

06/04/2025: I brought my family here to eat today. The food was very fresh and tasted good. I also ordered desserts at the end. The restaurants are all anime-themed. The photos were pretty good. It was very photogenic. It’s worth coming back. Highly recommended.

01/05/2025: Yummy dessert! I’ve gotten a few different things here, my favorite probably being the mango pomelo sago soup or the taro coconut. The toppings are all really fresh and just the right consistency. The taro paste is soooo good. I also had their signature three platters dessert which was really good, however a little too much for one person I definitely recommended sharing this place with friends!

30/04/2025: Surprised to find an Asian dessert shop in Italy. Had dessert after dinner and it hot the spot. The desserts were not too sweet at all. They had an extensive menu here, from the looks of it all cold desserts. We had the taro balls in black rice porridge and the classic three platters. I kinda wish they used regular taro instead of taro balls (taste like taro mochi). This was a nice little shop with friendly service.
