08/01/2026: We had lunch twice. The food is tasty and we had to go back again. This is the best Chinese food since away from home. Alternative choice if you want to take a break from pasta and pizza. The price is reasonable as well. Staff are friendly and polite.

23/01/2026: I want to preface this by saying that the service was good and the food arrived quickly, which we appreciated. The staff was polite and efficient throughout our visit. That said, our experience with the food itself was unfortunately underwhelming. We ordered several dishes, including Peking duck pancakes, sweet and sour pork ribs, fried rice, and ramen. While the menu is extensive, the execution of the dishes did not match expectations. The ramen stood out immediately—not in a good way. Despite the name, it did not resemble ramen at all and was closer to a very light wonton-style soup, lacking depth, structure, and defining flavors. We ended up not eating it. The Peking duck pancakes were particularly disappointing. The key element of this dish—the duck skin—was entirely missing. What remained was mostly dough with very little filling. The pancakes did not taste fresh and were bland, which was surprising for such a classic dish. The sweet and sour pork ribs felt unfinished. The pork seemed unseasoned and not properly marinated, with the sauce simply poured over the ribs rather than integrated into the dish. As a result, the flavors were flat and one-dimensional. Overall, while the service and speed were good, the food across the board felt bland and lacking attention to detail. The menu mixes different cuisines, and it may be difficult for the kitchen to execute all of them well. Conclusion: This review isn’t meant to discourage anyone outright, but rather to set expectations. If you’re looking for bold flavors or authentic versions of these dishes, this may not be the right place. However, if fast service and a broad menu are your priority, others may still find it acceptable.

21/01/2026: It was a disaster! We booked a table through The Fork app. The restaurant is in the city center, we were nearby and arrived earlier than our reservation time. Since the restaurant was completely empty and only one table was occupied (and they were already leaving), we went in and politely asked if it would be possible to be seated earlier. As soon as we entered, a young guy approached us, but immediately a girl rushed over and didn’t even let us speak to him. We explained the situation and, with obvious dissatisfaction, they seated us at a table. I felt extremely uncomfortable (once again, I repeat that the restaurant was practically empty). Throughout the entire evening, whenever we tried to talk to this guy or place an order, the same girl would rush to our table, completely ignore him, and not allow him to say a word. This is terrible! You cannot treat a person like that! No matter how inexperienced he may be, you have no right to humiliate him in such a way. We all felt very bad for this poor guy. As for the food — a complete disappointment! The soups had absolutely no taste. If you order meat dishes, bring a microscope to find the meat. This was our last dinner in Florence, and they completely ruined our evening. I strongly advise you to stay away from this place. As for the management, I would advise them to show more empathy toward that young guy and to learn how to communicate properly with customers. Shame on you!

04/10/2025: We've been going to Lay's for years. The food is fresh and high-quality, the atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, like home, but with attention to every detail. It's a real plus compared to other sushi places in the area! They even have an outdoor seating area! The sushi is absolutely top-notch, and the price is more than fair...we always come back :)!

01/02/2026: We wanted to try this restaurant because of its reputation for dumplings. We were disappointed because we ordered multiple dumpling dishes to try, all of which were extremely bland, tasteless, and flavorless. Of the five types we tried, none stood out; the flavor wasn't rich or satisfying. Not to mention the quantity: three dumplings for €8 for a flavor easily found in any simple Asian restaurant. Given the price range, we expected something more creative and flavorful. No complaints about the location, which is charming and elegant, but it doesn't reflect the lack of originality in the flavors. 15 dumplings + cucumber salad = €61.50 The tea (€5 a la carte) was supposed to be rose tea, but it had no flavor.

31/01/2026: For me, they can close, I called to book a table for 1 person for Sunday lunch, I was told no, because I was only 1 person and they couldn't let me occupy a table. Bye 😡🤮

17/01/2026: Parking is not a problem. Very welcoming and smiling staff. All-you-can-eat menu. You order via tablet. Lots of variety. The ravioli and uramaki are good. The best in the area. We'll be back!

06/01/2026: Very good delicious authentic Asian food with very reasonable prices near to the Academmia! I was surprised at how affordable the dishes were. The Japanese ramen and Chongqing Noodles both had good tasting broth. Their fried noodles was also very tasty, as was the fried rice cakes and the cauliflower wok dish. All their fried dishes had good Wok Hey (wok charring which makes the food really tasty, a skill good Chinese chefs have to have). Highly highly recommend for those craving Asian food or even if not, come and try some Asian food. There were many non Asians when we were there too. Service was also impeccable. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Such a gem! I wished I had better photos but we got distracted by the food and started eating right away! EDIT: We came back a second time and it did not disappoint. This time I took pictures!

24/01/2026: Small but charming, bright, and well-decorated, this ramen restaurant offers a wide selection at reasonable prices. Parking is limited due to its location near the city center. Service is quick, and the staff is polite and friendly.

Here are my highlights: Food Quality: The dishes are prepared with the freshest ingredients and taste truly excellent. You can taste the care taken in selecting the ingredients. Service: The staff was very kind and welcoming, making us feel immediately at ease. Atmosphere: The place is extremely clean, and the atmosphere is truly pleasant and refined (very atmospheric). I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent Asian cuisine in a relaxing environment. I will definitely be back!

22/01/2026: Went for lunch... few dishes, little variety, terrible food, everything tasted like burnt fried food... rice and gnocchi were inedible... €18.90 wasted, pointed out... reply: I'm not the owner... and we've been here for 16 years... in fact, there were 3 of us for lunch, I wanted to try it but... it's disgusting, Asian cuisine is anything but simple...

06/01/2026: The best sushi place in Lucca and the surrounding area. I've been there many times and it has never disappointed me. Excellent quality fish and very friendly waitresses. I highly recommend it!
