08/01/2026: We had lunch twice. The food is tasty and we had to go back again. This is the best Chinese food since away from home. Alternative choice if you want to take a break from pasta and pizza. The price is reasonable as well. Staff are friendly and polite.

27/10/2025: Can't say enough about the awesome soup we ate. We had the shrimp and beef spicy wontons. Ingredients were fresh and the soup was so tasty. Would give it a 6 star if I could!

15/12/2025: Absolutely a must in Pisa. The best dumplings you can find. Good choice of flavors, dumplings are handmade, sauces are very good and the lady serving you is very kind and sweet.

17/01/2026: Parking is not a problem. Very welcoming and smiling staff. All-you-can-eat menu. You order via tablet. Lots of variety. The ravioli and uramaki are good. The best in the area. We'll be back!

15/10/2025: The best I've tried so far. The space is large but cleverly divided to avoid clutter and create an intimate atmosphere. I found some of the dishes I tried to be excellent compared to other places. Everyone was friendly, and the service was fast. I'll be back as soon as I can!

04/10/2025: We've been going to Lay's for years. The food is fresh and high-quality, the atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, like home, but with attention to every detail. It's a real plus compared to other sushi places in the area! They even have an outdoor seating area! The sushi is absolutely top-notch, and the price is more than fair...we always come back :)!

01/02/2026: We wanted to try this restaurant because of its reputation for dumplings. We were disappointed because we ordered multiple dumpling dishes to try, all of which were extremely bland, tasteless, and flavorless. Of the five types we tried, none stood out; the flavor wasn't rich or satisfying. Not to mention the quantity: three dumplings for €8 for a flavor easily found in any simple Asian restaurant. Given the price range, we expected something more creative and flavorful. No complaints about the location, which is charming and elegant, but it doesn't reflect the lack of originality in the flavors. 15 dumplings + cucumber salad = €61.50 The tea (€5 a la carte) was supposed to be rose tea, but it had no flavor.

22/02/2026: Last night I had dinner with my family. We've been in Europe for 13 days, eating tons of sandwiches and pasta. We finally found this Chinese restaurant because the Chinese food we had in the Czech Republic and Australia was really bad. But the food at this Beijing restaurant—the fried rice, green beans, and tofu—was delicious. They were cooked using a large stir-fry method, and we ate almost everything. It's a shame it's a bit oily, but the color, aroma, and flavor were all excellent. I highly recommend this place to tourists who have been abroad for a long time, to relive some home-cooked meals.

18/12/2025: Open since 2000, it was one of the first chinese restaurants in the area. I had a great time and a burst of nostalgia just by rolling in. The place, for better or worse, didn't change a dime - and I think it's beautiful. Even the menu although evolved and integrated with more things a tiny bit, sports the same ol' dishes with sauces and tastes from a begone era. Talking about the food, I'd avoid fried stuff as it kind of tastes like fish and other things (even the veggies which is not the best for vegetarian options) and doesn't taste THAT good - fried desserts apart. Fried icecream is a timeless must. The Ramen is ridiculously delicious, well seasoned, savory and warm - just get it if you dont plan to try much else though as it willxstuff you up. If suggest trying one of the small soups instead, full of umami flavor. Delicious. The gyoza were a bit chewy, but not bad. The cuttlefish with mushrooms n bamboo on the other hand was a masterpiece - I'd eat it every day. Good options are of course all the fried rices and various second serving options like sour n sweet meats (the duck is great), or anything else on a hot plate. The plates arrive with enough time for you to digest the previous serving, but not so much that you have to wait too long - service is kind and gentle, very accommodating. There is a private parking option if you go around the block with your car and keep the right - they will raise the bar for you so you can park inside. Easily accessible for wheelchairs, better to call and warn first - please make sure they understand you are on a wheelchair and not on a baby cradle - I ended up in a crowded area who made navigation a tad difficult but people moved enough to get me through so no real issue. Great place also for vegetarians even though options can be a biti limited, but fantastic experience for a blast of nostalgia when you're tired of al you can eat sushi. Finally, good selection of fruits n desserts, lot of nostalgic stuff like fried icecream, milk or cookies, or caramelized fruit, fresh Chinese fruit or pineapple. Nice selection of wines but I'd take care with some alcoholic stuff as the rose liquor only tastes like heavy alcohol and a bit of rose, the coffee is ok and the price is more than honest. Recommended for a nice dining out with some heavy late 90's nostalgic vibes. Also I updated some pics of the new menu as it has been heavily updated. Ramen is unde the "Laman" specialties, soups are the small ones.

24/01/2026: Small but charming, bright, and well-decorated, this ramen restaurant offers a wide selection at reasonable prices. Parking is limited due to its location near the city center. Service is quick, and the staff is polite and friendly.

06/01/2026: Very good delicious authentic Asian food with very reasonable prices near to the Academmia! I was surprised at how affordable the dishes were. The Japanese ramen and Chongqing Noodles both had good tasting broth. Their fried noodles was also very tasty, as was the fried rice cakes and the cauliflower wok dish. All their fried dishes had good Wok Hey (wok charring which makes the food really tasty, a skill good Chinese chefs have to have). Highly highly recommend for those craving Asian food or even if not, come and try some Asian food. There were many non Asians when we were there too. Service was also impeccable. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Such a gem! I wished I had better photos but we got distracted by the food and started eating right away! EDIT: We came back a second time and it did not disappoint. This time I took pictures!

Here are my highlights: Food Quality: The dishes are prepared with the freshest ingredients and taste truly excellent. You can taste the care taken in selecting the ingredients. Service: The staff was very kind and welcoming, making us feel immediately at ease. Atmosphere: The place is extremely clean, and the atmosphere is truly pleasant and refined (very atmospheric). I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent Asian cuisine in a relaxing environment. I will definitely be back!

22/01/2026: Went for lunch... few dishes, little variety, terrible food, everything tasted like burnt fried food... rice and gnocchi were inedible... €18.90 wasted, pointed out... reply: I'm not the owner... and we've been here for 16 years... in fact, there were 3 of us for lunch, I wanted to try it but... it's disgusting, Asian cuisine is anything but simple...

06/01/2026: The best sushi place in Lucca and the surrounding area. I've been there many times and it has never disappointed me. Excellent quality fish and very friendly waitresses. I highly recommend it!
