13/08/2024: Amazing, amazing, and AMAZING! The food was the absolute best! We ordered so much to try and taste everything! Most of the staff was friendly and helpful! The location is also great with beautiful views, especially at sunset! I highly recommend this on your trip to the amalfi coast!
12/08/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante sabato 10 agosto. Il Sig. Antonio, 77enne proprietario ed animatore del locale, ci ha accolto come fossimo gli amici di sempre.
Vi siamo intrattenuti cantando con lui e mangiando in maniera fantastica.
Consigliatissimo.

08/08/2024: Best restaurant we tried in Praiano hands down. Best Calamari (fried or grilled) I’ve ever had, the ravioli was probably the best I’ve had, and the fish was also fantastic. The entire restaurant is run by the owner (server, chef, etc), so don’t expect lightning quick service but considering the one man show it was great service. Would highly recommend going here!

27/08/2024: Do NOT MISS this place if you are anywhere on the Amalfi coast. The staff and the food are absolutely incredible. We ate here two nights in a row during our honeymoon stay in Praiano, and Luna was such a doll. She remembered us, conversed with us, and exceeded all of our expectations. The first night we ordered mojitos and she picked fresh mint from their garden. The second night my husband wanted a spicy pizza but I wanted fresh tomatoes, so they modified our recipe & left us a sweet note + dough hearts to celebrate the end of our honeymoon. They are amazing & the prices are unbeatable!!
25/08/2024: My wife and I recently had an excellent meal at La Strada. The food was great, as was the service. We had a lovely view from the terrace, although there was a heavy rain storm whilst we were eating. The staff quickly pulled the covers down, so we stayed dry but could still look out across the sea.
We have eaten in 9 different restaurants so far across our Italian holiday and this was our favourite meal.

23/08/2024: Food/drinks were ok; the staff were nice and had an amazing view. It was 20€ for my 2oz cocktail that tasted nothing like was described on the menu. No taste of chocolate or cherry and it mentions milk and yogurt but the drink clearly had neither of those or it would be creamy looking right? Tasted so gross I couldn’t finish it. Good thing I asked for it to be removed from my bill and they complied. Also 18€ for average Moscow mule. So overpriced and should just go somewhere else.

PERSONALE gentilissimo, cordiale, ti fanno sentire proprio a casa. Siamo stati serviti da Raffaella che ha subito capito ed interpretato al meglio i nostri gusti . Cibo sempre il TOP, materie prime freschissime, cotture perfette. Carta vini eccellente. Noi torniamo ogni anno, ma vi consigliamo di andare se non l’avete ancora fatto. Prenotazione consigliata.
16/08/2024: Da Armandino ci si diverte e si mangia del pesce buonissimo e freschissimo.
Di passaggio in costiera, decidiamo di fermarci da Armandino.
Ristorante che consiglio assolutamente, il pesce è davvero uno dei più buoni mai mangiato (parlo da siciliano).

15/08/2024: We arrived after the opening time, but the gate was still closed. When we finally got in, we were greeted very unfriendly. They didn't take the time for us, and came by three times asking if we were finally ready to order. A few minutes after the appetizer, the main course arrived while we hadn't even finished the appetizer. The pesto pasta was incredibly dry, tough, and tasteless even though it was very oily. The pizza with anchovies was okay. The view with the sunset was amazing, but it’s definitely not worth going there for the food and service. All in all, we do not recommend!
12/08/2024: The gate was closed even though the opening time was 20 minutes earlier. The exorbitant prices, the same as Positano and Sorrento, I might as well stay there. Generous portion but nothing special, very neglected location. I don't recommend it!

20/08/2024: My daughter and I booked a cooking class at La Gavitella on our family vacation. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience truly special. Our Chef Giuseppe was knowledgeable, patient and fun. His assistants, Vanessa and Julia were attentive to details and made sure that out experience was well preserved in pictures that they shared with us. We learned cooking skills, but also we had an unforgettable experience. Needless to say that the restaurant has fabulous food and drink menu. We highly recommend La Gavitella as a marvelous restaurant and the best cooking class. Also, if you want to experience true Italian hospitality and friendliness, visit this restaurant. The vibe is great.
14/08/2024: We came here for a booked cooking class through Get Your Guide.
It was the best day!! From the pick up in the boat, to the staff and the cooking class, to the sun beds in the afternoon, it was better than we expected. The staff were amazing, so welcoming and made the day memorable. We loved the cooking and the chef was great and helpful. Flowing champagne for the morning.
Then we spent 4 hours on sun beds and swimming in the ideal location. 10/10 experience, would highly recommend!!

07/08/2024: More hidden than most, but absolutely incredible. We randomly found this wonderful spot after a highly recommended place was so rude we walked out. La Brace has Gorgeous views, AMAZING food. Great wine selection and truly lovely staff. So accommodating. Also prices are beyond reasonable for how great it all is. Underrated for sure in these parts!
Take chances in these areas! Don’t get stuck on reviews and instagram, it pays off - we promise 🤍🤌🏽
For referenced: We had a pizza , their pasta with meatball/ragu, chocolate almond cake with homemade ice cream and a bottle of wine. INCREDIBLE!!!

22/06/2024: We came here after our wedding for an intimate dinner with our small family. We emailed the restaurant to make the arrangements. They went above and beyond to make our dinning experience excellent. The food was delicious, the view was amazing and the service was very friendly!! We absolutely loved our dinner here. They also gave us a ride back to our house!! I highly recommend this restaurant!!
08/05/2024: Nice spot for dinner with a view for sunset. The service was excellent as was the food. They served a small chefs appetizer (caprese, croquette, bruschetta) and dessert (lemon sweet, cookie, jam tart) which was included and a very nice touch. The portions for appetizer dinner were sufficient. We had the ravioli for an appetizer and then the lemon linguine and mixed pasta provalone and potato. My husband enjoyed the Chianti wine and although we didn’t have a directly outside balcony table, they positioned the inside tables to have a view outside.

17/07/2024: Terrible service and racist owner. Had a very bad attitude. View was fine and so were the wines that were significantly marked up.
Server was very good and made it up.
08/07/2024: Locale con una terrazza a strapiombo sul mare dove si può ammirare un bellissimo panorama della costiera su positano e non solo...e se vi trovate col tramonto e qualcosa di eccezionale.
Ci siamo stati a cena e la nostra esoerienza è stata positiva...piatti buoni e in giuste dosi e davvero ottimi!!
Molto buoni anche i ravioli da provare!
Personale gentilissimo e veloce!
Locale provvisto anche di parcheggio gratuito non proprio vicino ma ottimo visto che in costiera e la zona dova si trova non e facile parcheggiare.
Prezzi nella norma pensando comunque che si sta mangiando a Praiano in costiera e a vista mare!
Bella esperienza lo consiglio!
