03/05/2026: A lovely lunch. Seems like this is an attraction for musicians touring their tambourines for contributions for little effort. Not the restaurants fault obviously.

30/04/2026: Lovely spot to eat! The gnocchi alla sorrentina was really delicious. The staff wasn't pushy, but actually super friendly. If we had to give a small downside, it would be that the food arrived very quickly, even at the same time as our aperitif.

07/06/2026: This place may look like nothing special if you are an American, but it is amazing. The staff are so kind, the espresso is perfect, and the pastries come out fresh and hot regularly throughout the morning. They were very supportive of our family. Different people are looking for different things, but to my mind this is the true beauty of Italy.

08/06/2026: I went there last night for the first time with my daughter and wife, and I can assure you, they're truly amazing! My daughter's burger was amazing; the beef and fresh bun were excellent and of the highest quality. The pizza was truly excellent, with a very special and light crust! The staff are incredibly kind and attentive to their customers. It'll be a regular stop every time we return to Sorrento!

13/04/2026: Imposible to only eat here once during your trip. I now live in italy and I've had my fair share of good pastas in various cities and towns, but this place, somewhat tucked away off a side street, just has some of the best and freshest tasting pastas I think I've ever eaten. No frills, just pure heartfelt food. A trip to sorrento would be incomplete without at least one meal at Semola

13/04/2026: This is the best best best pasta you would find in Sorrento! It’s so good that we had to come twice in our 3 days visit. It’s exceptionally well cooked. It’s with no doubt a home-cooked restaurant. Please make yourself a favor and try it. I’m vegetarian and had the zucchini spaghetti and the gnocchi à la sorrentina. Incredibly good! The service is great! The stuff is super friendly. Thank you!!!

21/05/2026: What a find! Tiny place. Warm environment. Every dish was exceptional. After two dinners at Michelin rated restaurants, this was much better!

21/05/2026: Had a wonderful meal here! The seafood polenta amuse-bouche was so rich and umami. For starters we had the lobster dish and the mixed pasta. The fresh loaf of bread paired so well to soak up the rich sauces! The mackerel for the main course was served with an array of amazing sauces! Very underrated restaurant!

21/05/2026: This was the best meal we’ve had on our trip so far! The owner was very kind and got a table even though it was busy. The restaurant felt very authentic. The food was absolutely delicious! We highly recommend and the gnocchi and the bolognese. This was a low cost meal! Highly recommend!

03/06/2026: Really hard to write this review as our first evening was excellent. Night two.. different staff. We were trying to sit outside but there wasn't any room. My husband really needed to use the washroom.. he walked in and told the long haired server that he wanted to sit outside but there was no room but he needed to use the washroom. My husband was told No. I walked in and explained the situation that we want to sit out side... right away he yelled "NO... YOUR HUSBAND SAID YOU WERE SITTING OUTSIDE... HE LIED". I said, no he didn't, we WANT to sit outside, but there isn't room. He throws a menu in my face... literally. I then told him that he was being very rude. At that point he told me to leave.... wow... totally unacceptable. We come to Sorrento very often and are EXTREMELY good tippers. Shame because we really enjoyed the staff the night before. EDIT: Dear Owner... yes I know you are the ONLY Irish pub in Sorrento... and WE WERE THERE! I take reviews VERY SERIOUSLY and wouldn't just make something up... for what purpose??? You're staff the first night was wonderful but the person working last night was just plain rude... He needs to learn how the service industry works.

18/07/2026: The best pizza I’ve ever had! It was incredibly fast, absolutely delicious, and worth every single penny. I highly recommend eating here if you’re visiting Naples. It’s one of the oldest and best places to enjoy authentic Neapolitan pizza. I can’t even properly describe the experience—the taste was beyond perfection. Every bite was amazing. Please, please visit this place if you’re in Naples—you won’t be disappointed. The prices are unbelievably affordable for such high-quality food, making it exceptional value for money.
