04/05/2025: Never made it in,wanted to use toilet before watching the football. Long haired bartender was extremely rude, Irish bar in name only!

26/03/2025: My husband and I just spent 3 days in Sorrento and 2 of the three evenings we found ourselves here. We found a friend in Mimmo and the staff were all so welcoming and friendly. Mimmo made the best espresso martini as well. They made us feel at home as it was our first time in Italy from the States.

06/05/2025: A very intimate space where you can see the chef preparing every meal with care and precision. Delicious food and thoughtful presentation.

07/04/2025: Absolutely lovely restaurant. We had the chefs 5 course and it was Michelin star quality. Husband and wife team who were friendly and the food was beautifully presented. Was pricey but definitely worth it. If I am ever in Sorrento again will revisit. Thank you for a lovely evening.

24/04/2025: We had our wedding here at Villa Antiche Mura in April 2025 and it exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, the team was incredibly professional, attentive, and kind, and the venue looked absolutely stunning. Every detail was perfect, and we’ve received so many compliments from our guests about the beautiful setting and how smooth the day went. Huge thanks to Claudia, Michele and the team at the Villa for making the day so special and unforgettable.

07/03/2025: Uniquely beautiful venue. Right in front of Vesuvius. Incredible views. A charming lemon tree garden. Ample space for large weddings, including dedicated areas for the reception, ceremony, and diverse backdrops for photoshoots. The food is excellent, and the staff is amazing.

09/05/2025: Wow. Just wow. This is really one of the best meals I've had in Italy. The suggestions were all on point, trust your waiter. They make their own pasta here, and it's a step above. We had the angel hair wrapped shrimp with Sorrento lemon fondue (wonderful and unique!), Culatello platter, Fusillo Avellinese with Sorrento lemon with amberjack tartare, Meat cannelloni, Fusillone alla Genovese Napoletana beef, and the pasta carbonara. We're already planning on coming again before we leave Sorrento!

09/05/2025: Not one to usually leave a review, but for this place I had to! The service was brilliant, so friendly and attentive, the food was the best meal we’ve had on our trip to Italy! The pasta was so fresh and tasty! A must visit if you are looking for dinner options in Sorrento!

19/05/2025: Beautiful restaurant with lots of photos of Lucio Dalla inside. The dishes we chose were all excellent and Sergio was super nice and friendly.

18/05/2025: We loved O’Schizzariello so much we went back for second dinner! Tony was wonderful and helped us select wines. His suggestions were perfect. Everyone was friendly and very welcoming. We are not finished in Sorento so who knows, we may go back again! :) Thank you Tony!

17/05/2025: Hotel shuttle to reach the center.

08/12/2024: The bedrooms are stylishly furnished and have a nice shower. The view of Sorrento and the sea is beautiful! The breakfast is extensive and tasty. The service of the staff and the location were disappointing. you are really dependent on the (free) bus. But to get your car you first have to drive someone from the hotel to the parking lot, which is somewhat cumbersome. All in all, this is not a hotel we would return to, the two hotels we stayed in afterwards were much better for a lower price

31/05/2025: With a quick search wanting an evening meal in Sorrento away from the main square this did not disappoint. Easy to book a table online as it was busy when we turned up, just off the hustle and bustle of the main shopping streets. Able to sit inside or like us just to the side of the street, always great for people watching. Good choice as most for drinks, the Lemoncello spritz certainly doesn’t hold back on the cello with a kick! The litre on beer was an interesting option but I opted for standard large. Plenty of choice on the menu, options for. Gnocchi verde with shrimps, it didnt take long despite the number of covers. Well presented, not too heavy, the shrimps were not overcooked and the sauce was cheesy and stretchy. We also had the pizza with ham, some reviews had complained about the pizza but we found it like most others in the area, crispy crust, thin and crispy base and a rich tomato sauce, not too ‘wet’ at all but filling. Too much food for a desert! Well worth a visit

01/06/2025: I just want to be direct here. I had the vina della casa rossi, chianina, arugula & tomato salad, and french fries. Fries were great. Salad was good. (i added olive oil & balsamic and pepper) The house wine was great. I like a nice dry strong red. I'm no great wine snob, but this was good. The steak: It was about half an inch thick and there was ABSOLUTELY no crust. I ordered med rare and it was. But you know, this is the first flavorless steak I've had. It was awful and tough. I ate it because... well, it was supper but it was sad. I'm so disappointed in a place called MEATing. I'm sorry folks, i make a better steak in a cast iron at my house. Service: guys were nice, they felt rushed but didn't make us feel rushed. No problem. (Edited to remove emojis and finish a sentence.)

20/04/2025: What a jewel of a find Le P'tit Bistr96 is! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a genuine smile and a lovely little palate cleanser – a fantastic start to the experience. Trying to decide what to order was impossible, as everything on the menu looked incredible. Our friendly waiter was a lifesaver! From the first bite to the last, the food was absolutely amazing, making my birthday truly special. Honestly, this might just be the best restaurant I've ever been to! Huge credit to the team there. Thank you so much, and I'm already dreaming of coming back. Cheers, John!

08/04/2025: Un gran hallazgo, recibimos una fantástica bienvenida, el servicio fue rápido, la comida era de gran calidad y delicioso. ¡Prepárate para caminar 10 minutos desde la plaza principal para disfrutar de la mejor comida en Sorrento!

20/05/2025: The Hotel was a great place to be. We loved it. Our room was classy and beautifully decorated. So crisp and clean, as was the whole of the Hotel. The food was good. We always enjoyed our breakfast and waiter service evening meal. The dining room is beautiful. The whole dining area was so nicely decorated with a beautifully crafted ceiling. It was always a pleasure enjoying our meals there. The staff were so pleasant at all times and ready to help if necessary. The outdoor pool is heated and a lovely place for a swim and a relaxing few hours. We used the gym which is quite small and had to be booked. The jacuzzi was cold so not really useable, which was a shame. On the down side is the access to the Hotel which spoilt it for us. We would not go there again due to the dangerous road outside the Hotel which we found quite scary and witnessed some near accidents. It has a blind bend in both directions. We were dropped off after 9pm at the opposite side of the road with our luggage. (This is where the shuttle bus for the Hotel, picks you up.) We had to negotiate getting across to the Hotel, lifting our cases over a ridge to get onto the road. Once across there is a steep slope and steps up to the Hotel entrance. Quite exhausting with heavy cases. The shuttle bus provided a great hourly service into Sorrento and return.

09/03/2025: We had dinner at this pizzeria recommended by friends, the service is almost self-service, or rather you fill out a card with the order and go to the cashier (a bit like a large US food chain). The staff seem to be all familiar, Mrs. Rosa is very kind and friendly, we took pizza and fried food... the croquettes were as good as homemade.

03/03/2025: Absolutely loved this place and would recommend to anyone who is in the area, wanting to discover local products and expertise. We booked a private tour with Miriam and it was a delight. She really took the time to explain everything and we also got to taste the product, which is of very high quality !

07/05/2025: Fresh fish is offered. The taste is good. The grilled vegetables 6.- euro are delicious. Nice atmosphere. Service is not included ( that was marked in the bill).

02/05/2025: May, 2nd in 2025 we have returned to this Ristorante which is located at almost the end of Sorrento. Since 3 years the ownership has changed. You can sit outside at the noisy street or inside what we have preferred. At Lunch-time the Restaurant was empty. We have asked for fresh fish ( Catch of the day). We have received the white fish. (20€ per person). In addition we ordered potatoes (4€) and mixed Vegetables (6€). Together with a bottle of Mineralwater we have paid 59 €. Hand written was: " SERVICE IS NOT INCLUDED ". Finally I can recommend this Restaurant.

22/05/2025: From the hearty welcome at our arrival to the delicious richness of the dessert, everything about our experience was amazing. Their regular menu has a great selection of meaty choices along with delicious Italian classics. Tiramisu was delicous and baba au rum was intoxicating. We'll be back!
