03/11/2025: We spent a lot of time reading other diners' reviews before finally deciding to go to this restaurant. In fact, it proved to be a really excellent restaurant. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. There was only one waiter, a gentleman (we're not sure if he was the owner). He was very polite and, despite being very busy, maintained an elegant demeanor and chatted with us kindly. We were very grateful to him for providing us with a comfortable dining environment and experience.
02/11/2025: Food was top notch. Waiter was one of the best. Price was great. Highly recommend this place. Wish they did it like this at home.

09/11/2025: DON’T COME HERE! The Food sucks!!! I got the spaghetti and meatballs and was very salty and meatball wasn’t fresh. It’s not even an Italian thing. They charge $4 euro for water and $2 a person for cover charge, ripped off!!!

Carbonara and seafood plate were both great.
Would recommend for a quick, easy and quality lunch or dinner.

05/12/2025: I've been there a couple of times this summer, once for breakfast and once for lunch. I was very satisfied with both the quality of the ingredients and the kindness of the staff. I'd also say the prices are more than fair.
24/11/2025: Even though we arrived late, they treated us very well and kindly😘🥰 the salads were excellent and well prepared, just what we needed. Excellent!

Best place to watch the sunset. Nice view over the marina, Naples and the Vesuvius. And the limoncello spritz with fresh mint is unlike anything you’ll ever have. Very affordable as well!

It's self-service, so the prices are reasonable, and the owner is incredibly friendly.
The view is great, and it's a great sunset spot!
I recommend it for a quick snack and a drink or coffee!

16/11/2025: The promise is high. The ratings are high. The meat is top-notch. The service is very professional. Unfortunately, I was shocked to discover that the chef doesn't know how to cook a steak. I watched in horror as he took a perfectly aged T-bone steak out of the oven, sliced it immediately without letting it rest, and proudly served it to me. Connoisseurs will recognize the mistake. Aside from this significant detail, I'm not particularly concerned with appearances and design. The bread wasn't very good, and the appetizers, consisting of chips and olives on a wheel, were rather dull. But others will surely appreciate it.
15/11/2025: Very well known bistro, however didn’t check my boxes. I was hoping for a quaint charming restaurant, it wasn’t.
On the other hand, apparently it serves great steaks, wagyu etc, unfortunately ours turned out not so good. Service was super.

29/11/2025: We enjoyed this restaurant so much! After arriving in Sorrento hungry during the period between lunch and dinner, many places were closed and we were walking around in the rain looking for somewhere to eat. We were graciously welcomed in and had no idea how great of an experience this was going to be. They were serving a pre fixe lunch and everything was incredibly delicious. Don’t skip the tagliolini with lemon cream sauce - it’s outstanding!

05/11/2025: Dinner for two, November, weekday. As you can see in the photos, it wasn't very busy.
We ordered octopus salad with potatoes and a fried platter of calamari and shrimp.
The octopus salad was okay.
The fried platter, cooked in old oil, only had passable calamari. The potatoes were very heavy, and the shrimp were whole, so when you removed the tails, heads, and legs, they lost their crispy texture.
The atmosphere was nothing special, just average.
The service was fine.
I wouldn't go back, nor would I recommend it.
04/11/2025: All around the service was amazing, the waitress was super nice and kind. We only had pizza, but i can say, that based on what i saw, the food looks exactly, how it looks on the menu.

13/11/2025: We went to Da Nello twice during our stay in Sorrento, once for lunch and another time for dinner and we were very happy on both occasions. We found the place affordable and authentic with great food and nice service. In fact it was our overall favourite restaurant in Sorrento and we’d gladly come back again.
