02/06/2025: Wonderful experience at Osteria da Peppino! We were welcomed by very kind staff in their magical garden with a quiet atmosphere and also pleasantly breezy: ideal on these hot days. The food is super and the portions are definitely abundant. Highly recommended!

10/05/2025: attesa fuori la porta di un'ora nonostante avessimo prenotato e fossimo arrivati in orario, alle nostre sollecitazioni ci dicevano di aspettare 10 minuti ma questi 10 minuti sono diventati circa 40, una volta seduti abbiamo atteso altri 45 minuti per ricevere il cibo nonostante ormai fosse un orario tardo e ci fossero pochi altri tavoli occupati.

28/05/2025: Initially we were hesitant about the competitive prices on the menu but already from the first courses and the wine we could appreciate a substantial and good cuisine. I ordered a bottle of wine at random from the list and it was good. Even though we sat down at almost 9 pm the bread served was still fresh and soft. The fish was also fresh and the dishes ordered very tasty. The menu is quite extensive, too bad for the limited desserts that we did not order (only tiramisu, pannacotta and profiteroles). Overall I recommend this restaurant. For what you spend and how you eat it leaves you truly satisfied.

25/05/2025: This restaurant was tucked away down a side street, but one that we came back to for a second time! Their pasta and risotto were excellent and the best that we’ve eaten on our holiday.

13/05/2025: Great pizza, extremely good desserts and friendly service. They don't serve Italian beer here, but they do serve German and English beer in moderation, which I really liked!

11/05/2025: The food was very, very bad!! I order a mediu beef steak and when they bring a rare steak. The taste was not good!! Also I ate the worst ceasar salad in my life! The staff was not organised at all! I do not recomande this restaurant!

07/06/2025: Andare a Pompei Centrale è sempre un'esperienza piacevole: l'interno è molto caratteristico e la qualità delle portate è elevata. La pizza è buona ed i panini sono veramente gustosi.

28/05/2025: Sono stato più volte in questo pub-pizzeria e ho sempre espresso un giudizio più che lusinghiero. Purtroppo stavolta do un giudizio negativo, tutto conseguente al fatto che mi hanno fatto pagare una birra commerciale di 0,4 lt la bellezza di 8,50 euro: un'esagerazione! Non si trattano così i clienti.

10/04/2025: Wir hatten gestern Abend das Vergnügen, das Tasting-Menü in Ihrem Restaurant zu genießen, und ich muss sagen, es war absolut herausragend! Schon beim ersten Gang waren wir von der Präsentation überwältigt – jedes Gericht war ein kleines Kunstwerk, mit viel Liebe zum Detail angerichtet. Aber nicht nur das Aussehen hat überzeugt, der Geschmack war einfach sensationell. Jeder der sechs Gänge war ein Feuerwerk für die Geschmacksknospen, perfekt ausbalanciert und mit hochwertigsten Zutaten zubereitet. Es war eine wahre Freude, sich durch dieses kulinarische Meisterwerk zu probieren. Ein ganz besonderes Lob möchten wir dem Service aussprechen. Vom Moment unserer Ankunft bis zu unserer Verabschiedung haben wir uns unglaublich wohl und umsorgt gefühlt. Das Personal war jederzeit aufmerksam, äußerst professionell und dabei immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns von den Augen abgelesen, und die Empfehlungen zu den einzelnen Gängen waren perfekt. Der Service war wirklich ein Highlight für sich und hat das gesamte Erlebnis noch einmal auf ein neues Level gehoben. Dieses Restaurant ist ohne Zweifel eine absolute Empfehlung! Wenn Sie auf der Suche nach einem unvergesslichen kulinarischen Erlebnis sind, bei dem sowohl das Essen als auch der Service höchsten Ansprüchen genügen, dann sind Sie hier genau richtig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

01/05/2025: I give one star to be able to write the review, waiting to be able to change it, given that my wife, after having contacted him several times to collect a voucher with an already paid credit attached, is waiting for a response, it would seem that the credit has disappeared. Let's see if we can get an answer soon, given the attitude he had towards us on the phone.

01/06/2025: Éramos cinco novias cenando allí. Pedí una especie de plato de tapas que incluía, entre otras cosas, queso de búfala y bresaola. El camarero me informó que se habían quedado sin queso de búfala, pero que yo podría comer mozzarella, a lo que acepté, aunque me pareció extraño que no ofreciera un descuento ni nada a cambio, considerando que el queso de búfala es más caro que la mozzarella. Cuando recibí la comida, se veía muy bien y bien presentada, pero no pude ver ninguna bresaola, que en realidad fue la razón principal por la que pedí el plato. Cuando le señalé esto al camarero, simplemente dijo: “Sí, no tenemos ninguno.” Entonces dije que sería razonable obtener un descuento en el plato ya que faltaban 2 de los aproximadamente 6 ingredientes, y estaba claro que estaban tratando de ocultar el segundo y solo espero que no me diera cuenta. El camarero no pareció pensar que un descuento fuera apropiado y explicó que el cargamento de bresaola no había llegado. Pensé que esto era bastante pobre — no asumir el error y no dejar que el cliente tenga razón. Después de muchas idas y venidas, el camarero finalmente aceptó un descuento de 2 €, que luego se olvidó en la cuenta, y tuve que recordarles nuevamente. Además, nos cobraron de más por una botella de agua. La comida era buena, pero por desgracia, la experiencia fue tan decepcionante que solo puedo dar 1 estrella.

28/05/2025: Locale rinnovato e pulito, ambiente semplice e servizio adeguato, abbiamo pranzato con un antipasto di fritti dí discreta fattura e due pizze tradizionali molto buone, prezzi convenienti.

04/05/2025: Small place a little out of the way for tourists but where you can eat excellent fish. We went specifically for the raw food and were very satisfied. The pasta with beans and red prawns is also excellent

30/05/2025: dit restaurant is uniek in italie, voor mij zeker een michelin ster - alle ingredienten zijn top - originele presenatie, knap menu. Voor wat je krijgt zijn de prijzen zeker te laag. Een goede sommelier , geen grote prater. de combinaties zijn apart , ze bevelen je de beste combinaties aan met de wijnen van streek. Mooi interieur. blijf niet op je hotel en ontdek dit restaurant in het centrum van pompei

31/05/2025: Very good Restaurant just 10-15 minute walk from the Ruins of Pompeii. We ate in the garden area which is beautiful and has a nice breeze. So far the best restaurant we have tried between our stay in Rome and our day trip visit to the Pompeii area. The servers take a bit to attend to you but once they get to you the food comes out fast. We ordered the fried baby calamari as an appetizer and it was very good. We also ordered Raviolo, Spaghetti with clams, grigliata di pesce, and entrecoto. All were very good and we highly recommend this spot. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the other plates so there is only 2 pictures.

30/05/2025: The food was delicious! The only reason I cannot give a 5 stars is because I asked for a tiramisu and this was nothing close to it. If they had told me they did it differently I would not have asked for it. I could not finish it (what rarely happens to me, since I don’t like to leave food on the plate) and was not happy for paying 7€for it. I would have preferred something else!
