Le Delizie In Pompei

We were here today (June 2nd) for lunch. The pizza was very good, the entrees average. Overall, we had a good time, but we'd like to make a couple of comments. There were six of us, we ordered four entrees and two pizzas. Perhaps we were wrong not to specify this, but we would have preferred the dishes to arrive together, because the person who ordered pizza basically ate alone in the end. We understand that when it's crowded like today, it's not easy, but we would have appreciated it all being told to us here. What left us a little disappointed, however, was that two of us ordered the same dish (spaghetti with clams), and one had 13 clams, the other 5 (as well as much less pasta). I think this is really unfortunate, especially if it happens at the same table, because it shows little attention to the plating, especially since one of us left hungry and paid for the dish just as much as the other. I would perhaps recommend a little more attention.

Excellent pizza, friendly staff. Convenient for a bite to eat before or after visiting Pompeii.

If you're ever in Pompeii, you absolutely must eat at this place. It's incredibly delicious and reasonably priced. I loved it!

Looking for a place to eat in Pompeii? Go to Delizie. We were divided between Team Spritz, Team Pizza, Team Limoncello Spritz, and Team Pasta. We agreed on the Limoncello. Honestly, it was excellent, the staff is great and speaks French, the menu is also in French, which is really nice. I highly recommend it.
