25/10/2025: We love this little restaurant, just a bit off the main thoroughfare.
The food here is both delicious and very generous, bring an appetite!
Atmosphere this time was a bit quiet as it was off season, but we have been before in June and it was full of tourists and locals.
A good sign about the place is there is always local queueing up for take away pizzas from the place. If you go, you have to try the pizza.

01/11/2025: I don't know what they do in that kitchen but what comes out of there is magical I had a parmigiana a Genovese of octopus and fried anchovies the staff was kind and not expensive at all

24/12/2025: Tuesday 22 December 2025 my husband, my friend and I ordered 2 hot decaffeinated macchiatos and one normal one. The two decaf arrived without being stained and he brought a small jug with cold milk on the side, they were truly awful in every sense, even the normal coffee was awful according to our friend. My husband and I left it on the table after the first sip, the best part comes with the bill: three horrible coffees at the "modest" cost of 8.50 euros, I strongly advise against it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

08/11/2025: Just one glass of delicious red wine for 5 euros. No other tourists besides me.
As is typical with Italians, the TV was quite loud, the locals added to the noise level with music from their phones, and to be heard over it, they talked loudly.
That's Italy for you, not for those seeking peace and quiet.
But delicious wine and friendly service.

19/09/2025: I preferred the old management... higher prices.. not at all satisfied, smelly octopus and dishes served different from what we had ordered.. making excuses and climbing the mirrors without even apologizing only the environment is saved for the rest it is to be avoided a first course paid 30 euros but it absolutely did not deserve it paying a very high bill for three people.. sorry but as long as this management is there 🤦🤦🤦🤦 mom mj

Unfortunately, relying on other reviews, I chose this restaurant for a romantic dinner. The evening location doesn't match the beauty of the castle; the journey to get there was unnecessarily complicated, and it cost €5 per person to take a boat to avoid the walk. The fried cuoppo was tough, and there was only one bottle of white wine available, and the only more expensive one. The first courses were decent, and there was only one waiter who, poor thing, couldn't grasp the situation. I wouldn't recommend it.
08/09/2025: The service, food, and views at this restaurant was absolutely phenomenal. I don’t have enough words to express how kind Nello and Lamin were during our dining experiences. They made sure we understood the menu and took food allergies seriously. They also took the time to know us personally and teach us some Italian! The food itself was absolutely divine and tasted like it was picked just that morning! We had freshly caught sea bass that melted in your mouth and risotto that was absolutely delicious. The bread and bruschetta were also extremely fresh and had us wishing we left with some to bring on the plane! We would whole heartedly recommend this place to anyone who asks and recommend ordering their catch of the day if available!

06/10/2025: We had a delicious lunch at this bar. The waiter who served us was very kind, the atmosphere was peaceful as we had good timing when no crowd. We could fully enjoy our meal without disturbing. We will return when in Ischia again 👍👍👍
