16/10/2024: Stayed here for 2 nights in Oct.
And even though I did not get to use the sun decks everything was perfect.
If you dine at the restaurant u have to order the mussels. It was the best we had the entire trip. Service was excellent, we had a room with terrace and it was the most beautiful sunset. (room 7)
4* for location as it’s not the most accessible! U need a taxi boat most of the time or if u walk it’s a hilly dark road to the castle/ponte area.
Every single staff was so kind.
13/10/2024: Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti dalla receptionist Francesca che ci ha dato il benvenuto con un grande sorriso, ( al quanto difficile da trovare oggi altrove…) e ci ha fornito in maniera impeccabile tutte le indicazioni per usufruire del nostro soggiorno. Abbiamo iniziato dalle piscine, tra cui 3 di acqua calda e 1 temperatura ambiente, pulitissime e nuove. Poi ci siamo diretti verso il solarium esterno sospeso sul mare con vista mozzafiato sulla baia di Cartaromana, dove ci siamo concessi un po’ di relax e qualche bagno a mare. Nel pomeriggio abbiamo avuto modo di conoscere la signorina Emilia, gentilissima e super disponibile a qualsiasi nostra richiesta, che si è occupata dell' organizzazione della nostra cena , riservandoci un tavolo vista mare ed esaudendo ogni nostra richiesta sempre con il sorriso.
Alla cena ci accoglie Emiliano, accompagnandoci al tavolo.
Su suo consiglio abbiamo scelto un menu degustazione di 5 portate lasciandoci guidare dall’esperienza e professionalità di Emiliano e dello Chef.
Prodotti freschi e ricercati, si sente tutta la passione e la ricerca del dettaglio; i crudi ottimi, per non parlare delle cozze alla griglia con intingolo alle 12 erbe isolane e gli gnocchetti con pesto, vongole e taralli.
In particolare complimenti alla Pasticcera Roberta, pasticceria davvero di livello, tiramisù e torta a cioccolato da libidine.😍

18/10/2024: This place is a must visit when in Ischia, we were here twice during our stay and could not fault it. Food is amazing, great drinks on offer and service is first class.
12/10/2024: We had dinner on Saturday 12/10, we were welcomed by the owner in a kind way and he offered us the catch of the day at the table. The salted sea bass is excellent, the Ischia-style rabbit is excellent, and the caprese cake is excellent. We will definitely be back.

01/04/2025: The beauty of the place is one of a kind, a fabulous terrace overlooking the Aragonese Castle, the service is excellent, each dish has its own detailed explanation, the food is exceptional, the quality can be felt at the first taste, the chef Enzo, very prepared and devoted to his craft leaves us speechless every time! We will definitely return, in the meantime we recommend it to those who want to indulge in a one-of-a-kind culinary experience.

04/02/2025: Very good address suggested by the owner of our rental. Marco, the waiter, from Chalet Primavera offered us a sea bream for 2 people, accompanied by spaghetti, tomatoes and basil. We come from Saint-Brieuc (Northern Brittany region, in the northwest of France), a country of fishermen and we love fish. The dish was beautifully cooked. Thanks to the cook, Thanks to Marco for his good advice, for his kindness and his extreme kindness. Furthermore, we arrived at 2:50 p.m., quite late, and we were lucky enough to be placed on the terrace facing the Arragonese castle. We ate to the sound of the lapping sea. Truly a wonderful place.

13/09/2024: Wouldn’t recommend.
We ordered an app and two main courses, and we were charged an extra 12€ because we shared the items. This was more than enough food for two people and thus had no reason to upcharge us. The items came to 50€ each when indicated on the menu as 38€. When we asked the host, he pointed to a tiny excerpt on the back of the menu that states they would do this. Nevertheless, if you feel a a portion is too small to be shared, the waiter should be expressing this at the point of ordering. We would’ve gladly agreed to a bigger portion for more money if recommended by the staff.
Huge cash grab. Also the food is super basic for this high price point.
09/09/2024: Este es uno de los restaurantes más maravillosos de Italia para una velada espectacular. Es un hermoso entorno con ventanas abiertas que permiten en la brisa de la noche mientras se mira al mar y hermoso castillo aragonés. La comida es deliciosa, desde la selección antipasto hasta la pasta y el segundo piatti del pescado más fresco. Fuimos a cenar tres noches seguidas y tuvimos a Giorgio como camarero. Un nativo de Ischia, nos cuidó como si fuéramos huéspedes en su propia casa. Desde los vinos locales hasta la selección de dolci, esta fue una experiencia maravillosa.

Heavenly food, high quality raw materials, good service even if some small details need to be reviewed (women always serve themselves before men). Absolutely knows how to review the toilets

11/04/2025: If it were up to the younger waiter who is super nice, polite and helpful the score would be higher but since they struggle to issue a receipt... I didn't like the response I got. Rude and know-it-all, mocking as if it were wrong to ask for a receipt (they issue a pre-total which is not fiscal and therefore prefer cash)

04/11/2024: Locale caratteristico in quel di Idchia Porto,personale gentile che ha fatto di tutto per rendere piacevole la serata procurandoci un tavolo in un punto buono,consigliando il vino giusto,preparare un piatto, una porzione, seppur specificato sul menù che era per minimo 2 persone, e dulcis in fundo, la pastiera fuori menù tralaltro buonissima. Quindi, le pietanze, seppur nella media,ci sono sembrate eccellenti, consigliata la zuppa di cozze con crostoni
17/10/2024: Ristorante pizzeria provato due volte una come ristorante e l'altra come pizzeria.Giudizio tutto sommato positivo un poco chiassoso la prima volta,calmo la seconda.Buona qualità dei prodotti a prezzi più che onesti,servizio cordiale ,da rivedere assolutamente la carta dei vini,quasi tutti assenti.

16/07/2024: Excellent food, spectacular desserts and lots of courtesy. Of note is the purified water, both still and sparkling, in glass to avoid the use of plastic. Without forgetting the dream place on the beach of Ischia.
16/07/2024: There are few beaches that in the chaos of the summer season are able to guarantee sunbeds with guaranteed living space, first-rate Mediterranean cuisine, pastry shop desserts, honest prices and attention to plasticless with the use of glass. Which doesn't hurt these days. Five stars deserved

Excellent quality food and above all the kindness and helpfulness of Mrs Chiara and Luciano who even delighted us for one evening with some beautiful Neapolitan songs. Historic restaurant in Ischia with a beautiful panoramic room overlooking the port and a really nice outdoor area.
Advised!!
08/04/2025: Recommended by our hotelier, and it actually immediately became "home", excellent value for money, not to mention the kindness of Mrs. Chiara and Luciano, a thought also for the "Commander" who delighted us with his stories of long navigation. Thank you for looking after us during these wonderful days in Ischia.

28/10/2024: Don’t rely on opening times shown in Google to be correct. As we found out the hard way tonight, they aren’t always. The same goes for quite a few restaurants off the beaten track.
06/10/2024: Very good food. The fish is fresh and well made. The atmosphere is great, you can hear the waves even while indoors. Would recommend visiting for anyone looking for good seafood and/or fish.
