07/08/2024: We ordered « all you can eat», and in the first 20 minutes the food came frequently. But the next 90 minutes the food stopped coming, we ordered a lot of stuff and it never came and we were also totally ignored by the whole staff. Everytime the staff passed by and we were trying to get contact with them, they only looked ahead of us, or started speeding to get by. They were also impolite when they finally came to us. What we also noticed was that this only happens with the tourists, not with the other italians, or the italian tourists. The food was good, but the whole atmosphere and pleasure was ruined by waiting over 40 minutes to not even get half of what we ordered. The restaurant was also half full, so it was not busy.

02/09/2024: A distanza di due giorni torniamo a cena in uno dei migliori ristoranti dell’isola. Materie prime a km0 cucinate in modo eccelso. Location incredibile con vista sul castello aragonese e la penisola. Servizio cortese e puntuale. Si raccomanda il coniglio (da richiedere al momento della prenotazione) e tutti i primi. In particolare, siamo impazziti per i bucatini al sugo di coniglio serviti direttamente dalla pentola di coccio nella quale sono stati mantecati e le fettuccine funghi porcini e pistacchi. Vino della casa imbottigliato dalla cantina Mazzella eccezionale sia bianco che rosso. Forse i dolci un po’ troppo dolci, ma qui è questione di gusti e non di tecnica. Conto giustissimo. Atmosfera romantica ed elegante, sebbene sobria nel complesso. Proprietario sempre cortese e gentile. Consigliatissimo anche e soprattutto per chi desidera mangiare in un luogo fresco. Buone anche le pizze e la grigliata mista di carne. Felici di poter tornare e ogni volta uscire gratificati e soddisfatti dalla serata.

10/08/2024: A magnificent, magical and panoramic view over all of Ischia, the dishes were delicious and the service impeccable! Very affordable prices, highly recommended.

22/08/2024: Nothing to take away from the quality of the products, but charging €5 for 6 leaves of salad, washed and placed on the plate without any seasoning (which is €4 on the menu) is in my opinion legalized robbery. If you stop by, get the chicken with potatoes, which is really good even if excessively expensive. The friendly staff, the second star is for them.

12/07/2024: It is practically a terrace overlooking the sea, you arrive at the restaurant by taxi boat or by land, the first option is very characteristic and particular (to book a taxi ask the restaurant for directions). The journey by sea takes about 5 minutes. The restaurant offers land and sea dishes, the latter we tried were nothing short of fantastic both in terms of taste and quality of the raw materials. Courteous and professional staff. absolutely recommended.

10/07/2024: Superior quality food, unique flavours, attentive and courteous service. A wonderful and romantic panoramic view. I don't think there's anything better to ask for. Truly congratulations to everyone. Ps very nice option to arrive by taxi boat which takes you to the place for €6 return. I recommend it to everybody.

28/07/2024: This is a fancy upmarket restaurant and beach bar that gets very busy. We couldn't have a sunbed when we arrived just sat in the shade and had a cool beer. You need to book to be sure of a bed. Don't think you have to book for food if you arrive early but probably best to enquire. Staff were okay but not particularly friendly or welcoming once they realised we were not on their guest list. Don't let that put you off. The place was modern and clean with a great beach location.

02/07/2024: The food here was fantastic. We decided it was our best dinner on Ischia. Our experience was akin to having a private chef in beautiful mountain garden location. It was lovely and delicious and the house made red wine is multo bene. Also, the tiramisu was the best I ordered on our 2 week trip! Highly recommend everything about La Sosta di Bacco!

15/08/2024: 2024: One year later...🤩 I confirm last year's excellent review ‼️ The restaurant is well located in the center of Ischia Porto; it is pleasant and has kind, friendly and efficient staff as well as the owners ‼️ We eat very well: I'll post the receipt from which you can also see the good quality/price ratio 😋😋😋. This year, I was also able to enjoy a new homemade dessert: orange and strawberry tiramisu 🍓 🍊... don't forget to ask for it 👍 The octopus and potato salad is highly recommended... I didn't photograph it, it was too good 🧏 Ah, come and book first: it's always full ‼️ 2023: Excellent restaurant and pizzeria where you can eat every type of pizza and various land and sea dishes. I enjoyed both an excellent pizza 🍕😋 and a fabulous dish of linguine with mussels and clams which were truly superlative ‼️ The staff was quick and impeccable; kind owners. They also have special agreements and special agreements with some hotels (including the Rosetta hotel). In short, a pleasant place to have aperitifs, have lunches or dinners. 😊

24/08/2024: Beautiful experience! We stayed in this paradise for 4 nights and everything was perfect! We had the junior suite with a fantastic balcony overlooking the sea, S.Anna rocks and Aragonese Castle with sunbeds and external shower: fabulous! The location is wonderful for the lush vegetation, the well-kept spaces and the position. The breakfast was excellent and of high quality and with a priceless view. High level restaurant and above all with excellent service. All the staff, lifeguards, reception girls, beach bar and restaurant guys, all very kind, friendly and professional. The heated swimming pools with sea water are relaxing and it is a privilege to have the sunbed on the deck reserved for each day of your stay. We felt truly welcomed and pampered throughout our stay. Thank you.

22/08/2024: The only positive thing is the location, everything else is very bad, starting from the food and ending with the price, incompetent chicken thieves and terrible service, raw food paid like diamonds, in the end we order a bitter that wasn't there and they bring us another one. been scammed be careful of this place and the people who work there a real steal in Ischia you eat much better for much less

20/07/2024: Non soltanto buon cibo, ma soprattutto gentilezza, cortesia e attenzione per il cliente. Abbiamo prenotato praticamente un’ora prima di andarci e nonostante l’alta stagione sono riusciti ad assecondare la nostra richiesta per un tavolo proprio sopra il mare. Poi nel corso della cena tante altre attenzioni che dimostrano veramente tanta professionalità e cura per il cliente. Una zuppa di cozze eccezionale! Consigliato a chi ama cenare ascoltando il rumore del mare!

15/07/2024: Durante unas vacaciones en Ischia, pregunté con mi esposa a algunos residentes dónde se podría comer pescado fresco y bien cocinado. Debo decir que quien me aconsejó tiene un paladar refinado. El entrante Alberto es un viaje de diferentes platos de marisco desde los sabores más delicados hasta los más fuertes... Espectacular. No puede faltar un buen pescado al estilo Alberto, fileteado frente a la mesa con gran maestría y con un sabor explosivo. Volveremos seguramente!
