14/07/2025: This place is definitely a gem. It’s also very cooly decorated on the inside, but the terrace is a lovely place to sit for lunch. The staff were so kind! Everything tasted great and it was reasonably priced. I would come back!

09/09/2025: We ate both seafood and meat dishes, both impeccable. The location with a view of the less spectacular lacquer mushroom is highly recommended.

08/09/2025: Definitely not recommended! I ordered two dishes: red shrimp and mixed salad. I was served rotten shrimp! I returned the dish. After I finished the salad and went to pay, the waitress called a man who said they were making new shrimp and it would only take two minutes. I waited. Instead of red shrimp, I got regular ones from the freezer. When I asked what was going on, I ordered red shrimp. The answer was, it's just a different variety. The bill was for red shrimp, which was twice as expensive. Conclusion: Stay away from this restaurant. Rotten products and a rip-off!

19/08/2025: I went to dinner with my girlfriend and her family at "Da Umberto." It all happened by chance. We ordered two Cokes, two waters, and half a bottle of Ischia white wine. For appetizers, we had fried shrimp and calamari and vegetarian bruschetta. Both served just enough for five people. The fried sea bream was crispy, and you could tell it was fresh. We then ordered spaghetti with clams, deliciously spicy just right, with parsley and a generous amount of clams. A very light and fluffy pizza. Last but not least, three bucatini pasta with mussels and pecorino cheese, which I've always been reluctant to try. For the first time, I wanted to try this typical Neapolitan recipe. I made the decision after reading the reviews, and to this day, I don't think I'll ever try this dish anywhere else because I'll never find anything this good! Huge and delicious mussels with an intense flavor, perfectly cooked bucatini, and just the right amount of pecorino cheese that made everything perfectly balanced. The staff was superb, both in the dining room and the kitchen, as everything arrived on time. They also gave us tips on how to visit the beautiful places on Ischia. I'd add that I'm from the South and now live in the North, but when I find myself in places like this, I know how much potential there is in our region. Thanks for everything, I'd go back any day for my first cozze e pepe.

06/06/2025: I found myself in this bar while my wife was at the beautician... I spent 1 wonderful hour, quality products. Excellent soundtrack and the right mix between quiet and distraction. Notion of honor to the staff who welcomed me and made me feel at home

05/07/2025: Great place, I haven't tried all the sandwich shops in Ischia Porto, but it's definitely one of the best. Great sandwich, much better meat than any fast food restaurant on Italian soil. Welcoming staff, shame about the tables and the lack of a bathroom, but those are the only flaws, otherwise great place

03/09/2025: The prices were quite high, and the products weren't fresh...the cream inside the lobster was sour, and the cream on top of the baba was solid. You can find better places just a few steps away.

03/09/2025: A beautiful place, as it always has been. Unfortunately, and with regret, our personal experience was a huge disappointment. In our opinion, the pastries and ice cream we ordered were nothing particularly exciting. Next time, we'll choose elsewhere.

28/08/2025: I went there last night, nice atmosphere, very large, good food, slow service, only one expert waiter for the whole room, high price, a bottle of water 5 euros, plus 3.50 cover charge, quality price not proportionate

20/08/2025: Finally, smiling staff! After three days in Ischia, I'd given up hope. Very good food, both meat and seafood, and excellent value for money. The only flaw that ruined a fantastic dish for me was the cooking time for the scialatielli, in my opinion, but that can happen. The octopus and sauce were out of this world. Well done!

24/07/2025: If I could give less than one star, I would. The charcuterie board was absolutely shoddy and out of date; I buy packaged cured meats from the supermarket. A slice of Margherita pizza taller than the Leaning Tower of Pisa, in fact, raw inside, and I won't even comment on the Parisian pizza. I'd rather not continue the review because I'd waste every vacation day at the keyboard trying to comment on this "lounge bar." P.S.: If you pass by, avoid the bar and the waitress; she'll tell you where to go if you try to sit down.

21/07/2025: The young man who served the food was polite and kind, but unfortunately not at all like his colleague. Definitely rude, surly, and unwelcoming, she made us feel quite uncomfortable. Too bad The food was good, but the prices were high.

19/08/2025: Owner was extremely RUDE! Tried to make us pay twice after staff already made us pay. She put her hand in our faces until she realised she was wrong. They were very confused and lacked communication. Food was disappointing and we ate somewhere else. Pizza billiard just down the street staff were amazing go there instead.

17/08/2025: Messy, stale croissants, tasteless watermelon granita, and a very expensive €5.50. Avoid! Better to stop at Ciccio's: you pay less and the quality is superior!

20/07/2025: There are about 100 beds stacked on top of each other, with two people working, so if there's even just one table for five people, you can't eat; it's too windy. You can't swim without getting a fever.

28/07/2025: Una pizzería media encima de una tienda de vestidores con una terraza con vistas a la calle. El servicio era bastante rápido como cuando visitamos el lugar estaba solo medio lleno. Desafortunadamente, la luz de la terraza ha atraído hormigas voladoras nocturnas, y durante toda nuestra comida siguieron cayendo sobre nuestro plato y nuestras bebidas. IT llevó algún tiempo darnos cuenta de dónde venían, y pedirle al camarero que apagara las luces. Nuestra factura por 2 fue de 36 € por 2 pizzas, botella de agua, 1/4 ltr vino de la casa y 5 € cargo de cobertura

20/07/2025: Purtroppo le tempistiche sono state pessime. Ci siamo seduti alle 21:40, abbiamo ordinato degli antipasti e delle pizze ed il cibo è arrivato quasi alle 22:50. Gli antipasti mediocri e le pizze con un impasto davvero pesante, non le consiglierei. Abbiamo visto molte persone far portare indietro i loro piatti per svariati motivi, penso che la cucina del locale vada rivista.
