06/05/2026: We live in the Aosta Valley, and we only discovered this restaurant on the small harbor of Ischia Porto last night (alas, the last night of our stay). Well, what can I say...it was a fantastic experience! The fish was incredibly fresh and top-quality, with deliciously flavorful dishes and attention to detail. The view of the harbor is priceless, perfect for a romantic or relaxing evening. Impeccable service, professional and welcoming staff. Excellent value for money. A must-try, we'll definitely be back! 16/05/2026: Wonderful location and very pleasant restaurant … nicer than photos online suggest. Warm welcome and tasty food. However after warm welcome the service became pretty raw. Food slapped down - and staff seemed generally miserable. Very unlike any experience on this amazing island. When we left and said goodbye and thank you, staff totally ignored us.

11/05/2026: We chose pizza with eggplant parmigiana; delicious and plentiful.

10/06/2026: The waiter didn't speak English and seemed a bit confused. We had to pay an extra €3.50 for a gluten-free pizza that was smaller than the regular one and didn't taste very good!! (Without us being informed beforehand.) Absolutely outrageous. The regular pizza was good value for money. The atmosphere, however, was truly wonderful.

06/06/2026: This evening, at the recommendation of our hotel manager, four of us dined at this restaurant. Given the reviews, we took the plunge. It was a forgettable experience; the restaurant has a terrace, but the service was mediocre. We pointed out to the waitress that our glass wasn't clean, and she took it and replaced it with one from the next table without even apologizing. We ordered two fried fish dishes, which barely earned a passing grade. Of the two pizzas we ordered, one arrived 15 minutes after the fish, and one was missing. I waited another 15 minutes, with no interest whatsoever in the poor service. We ate at different times. The pizzas were good, but the prices weren't exactly worthy of the service we received. From my experience, I wouldn't recommend it; there are definitely better places out there.

06/06/2026: While waiting for the ferry home, breakfast at Mummolone is a must. The croissants are delicious. The owners are very kind.

16/06/2026: Two gins and two tonics without an aperitif (€38, note that the tonic was charged separately) - (receipt attached) with only peanuts and chips, no platter. We were scammed. Absurd prices. Very disappointing! We ordered two gins and tonics and were ripped off. €38, and they served us just some nuts and crisps. Shocking!

12/06/2026: I had lasagna, icecream and an espresso. The food was good but the icecream had ice. There is one 1 surcharge for the espresso if not taken at the counter

18/05/2026: My wife and I spent two glorious weeks in Ischia in late May, and this place quickly became our absolute go-to for morning coffees and pastries, and lazy evening drinks in their beautiful semi-covered seating area. Their coffee is amongst the best I've ever tasted, and their selection of pastries, cornetti, and cakes will blow your mind. Then there's the gelato... We did our best to sample all the flavours, but once we tried their signature 'Winner' we never looked back. All this comes with trademark Ischian hospitality, in beautiful surroundings. We'll definitely be back the next time we're on the island, senza dubbio.

03/07/2026: Here's a review that also includes the food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bar delle Rose is a pleasant discovery! The atmosphere is welcoming and well-maintained, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Excellent not only for a coffee or breakfast, but also for lunch: the dishes are prepared with fresh, abundant, and truly delicious ingredients. The service is fast and attentive, and you can sense the passion they put into their work. A place you'll happily return to, whether for a quick break or a lunch with friends. Highly recommended!

27/05/2026: Truly an excellent dinner! I started with a truffle burrata, simply spectacular, creamy, and rich in flavor. The fusillone with Genovese was perfect, flavorful, and well-balanced, while the linguine with zucchini scapece was delicious. To finish, a delicious caramel cheesecake and two limoncellos rounded out the evening perfectly. A special thanks to Emanuele, who was impeccable, extremely kind, professional, and attentive throughout the entire dinner. The service was truly top-notch. I'll definitely be back!!
