18/05/2025: Locale nuovo, evidentemente rinnovato da poco, pulito e curato grazie anche al personale gentile e molto efficiente. Menù completo e, oltre alle pizze, c'è anche una discreta scelta tra primi e secondi. Ordiniamo una pizza per assaggio: buona cottura, stesa perfetta, digeribile. L'errore è stato chiedere un fritto di calamari (tra l'altro sul menù non viene precisato se il prodotto è fresco o surgelato: gravissimo): ho avuto la sensazione che prima di friggerlo (senza pastella, altra stranezza per usare un eufemismo) fosse stato cotto sulla griglia (avanzi?) con risultato a dir poco pessimo. Avrei dovuto mandarlo indietro ma per evitare di rovinare la serata agli amici con me ho soprasseduto. Prezzi nella media. Assolutamente da non ripetere se non per una pizza.

17/07/2025: Really bad food and scamming tourists. I honestly have no problem paying a bit extra as a tourist or so, but being scammed leaves such a sad and bad feeling. I was hoping for a beautiful evening — instead, I waited over 50 minutes for a simple salad, which was honestly the worst I’ve ever had. I think they used the corn water as dressing and the tomatoes had wrinkles and were almost dry. Then I had to wait another 15 minutes just to pay, only to realize they told me (in Italian, and in a really rude way) to pay, shoving the card reader in front of me without telling me the amount, only when my card reached the reader I could see the amount. After this reeeally long evening, I just paid — only to then be handed the receipt, where I saw they’d charged me for one of their most expensive pizzas. I was so shocked and embarrassed that I just shook my head, and she started saying something in Italian, with a defensive expression, as if she knew exactly what had happened.

14/07/2025: Get away from the tourist spots of Ischia and enjoy a pizza like we've never had 🤩. And the usual warm welcome of southern Italy! We'll be back soon!!

18/06/2025: Dinner this evening. We arrived late from Naples with the Circumvesuviana and this was the first pizzeria we found going down the street. Excellent pizza and a very nice location with its yellow chairs. The service was kind, they turned off the nearest air conditioner for us, to avoid the cold on us. I ate the parmigiana scomposta and my husband a nerano. They were both good. Compliments.

19/08/2025: Assuming you arrive there, the online menu and the on-site menu match... choose your pizza and take a seat. This leads to four things we're completely off-putting. 1. The waitress warns you that the prices displayed are only for takeout and invites you to scan a QR code with the "inconvenience" prices. You discover that the menu is still the same as what you find online or on-site, but everything is marked up by €2/3/5 per dish. 2. At checkout, you're charged an additional cover charge, which is completely omitted from the digital menu. And how many times do we have to pay for this "inconvenience"? Now let's review the theory together. Transparency: If a cover charge is applied, it's essential that it be clearly indicated on the menu, along with its cost, to ensure transparency and customer trust. Alternative: Instead of charging a cover charge, restaurateurs can decide to include the related costs in the prices of the dishes or service. Customer Respect: In the absence of a specific law prohibiting cover charges, transparency and clarity in prices, including any additional costs, are essential for customer respect. Failed three times. 3. Mulling over these instances of consumer non-transparency, feeling a bit taken for a ride for having paid a "surprise" surcharge + cover charge, especially since you're practically eating outside at plastic tables, certainly not in a closed restaurant with air conditioning or any other comforts, I look at the details on the receipt and, in addition to the surcharge, in addition to the cover charge, there's a significant price error of 1 euro more on a pizza than the already marked-up menu they pass off to you if you sit down? Basically, between the stolen euro for the pizza, the cover charge not mentioned anywhere (or even if there was one, you certainly wouldn't have to look for it; I looked and couldn't find it!), and the inflated price because you're "inconveniencing" them by sitting down, it's basically 8 euros, 4 euros per person. This isn't about cheapskates, but transparency and fairness. Since pizzas "walk" from the oven to where you serve them on the street in disposable cardboard boxes and then decanted onto paper plates, I hope you understand the meaning of the term disposable. The cardboard shouldn't be returned to the kitchen like a shrimp to cross-contaminate allergens, but would go straight to the trash. Between the menu's illiteracy, the omissions regarding cost transparency, and even the incorrect calculations that always favor you, obviously there's no way back, and with me, so does all the word of mouth.

19/08/2025: Terrible, never again!! ZERO STARS! You pay extra for a seat, eat in a square on plastic chairs, paper placemats, plastic cups, and paper plates, and while you cut your pizza, you also cut that. At the cashier, you even pay a cover charge... HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!! If I'd known this beforehand, I'd have gotten takeout pizza and sat on the benches in the square... I'd have saved money and would have eaten out of the box anyway...

27/07/2025: Good morning, last night, four of us went to dinner at this restaurant, where our first positive impression was how clean it is. The tablecloths and cutlery were spotless, as were the restrooms—compliments indeed. I'd also like to add that we enjoyed excellent appetizers, served by extremely kind and courteous staff. I'll end with a truly excellent bill, given the quality and abundance of the products. I'll definitely be returning.

04/07/2025: We had a lovely meal here. At first we thought it was very quiet and should we be concerned but our meals were delicious ! We were given complimentary bread and mini bruschetta. The owner was so lovely and kind and welcoming. Would eat here again . Nonna is in the kitchen cooking

07/06/2025: Never order the Platter for 2 people!!!!! We discovered this restaurant by chance about ten days ago, we arrived around 10.30pm and ordered some meat. We were very satisfied and this evening we decided to return. I will start by saying that the meat is very good but I gave it 1 star because I felt like I was being taken for a ride. We ordered a platter of cold cuts and cheeses for 2 (it was written right on the menu that it is a minimum for 2 people) and we received this mini... very small platter with 2 slices of salami, another 2 of salami and a slice and a half of cheese... All accompanied by some bacon put in a bow to add volume. Obviously I politely asked if that was it and the waiter replied that something else was coming, ok I was heartened... "something else" actually arrived, that is, a bowl of olives. The owner approached and asked if everything was ok and very politely I explained that I was a little taken aback by this famous platter. The owner, always with great politeness, tells me that he had noticed and that in the kitchen they had made a mistake and that he had already adjusted the price. Ergo... 2 slices of salami and a half of cheese cost me 18 euros instead of 24... I say... But don't say anything at all. If you noticed the mess made in the kitchen (because it wasn't a mistake but a mess made on purpose) either you send me something else without saying anything or you act like a gentleman and you don't even charge for these 4 slices of salami... I'm a shopkeeper too and I would never have behaved in this way. Tonight you may have earned an extra 18 euros, but you have certainly lost 2 customers!

05/08/2025: A historic pastry shop in the heart of Avellino's main street. A quiet and welcoming place, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the desserts are excellent. During our stop, we enjoyed an exceptional baba with cream and black cherry. I recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

30/06/2025: Good morning everyone, yesterday 29 06 2025 we celebrated the first communion of our princess.....everyone made this ceremony fantastic.....I sincerely thank the owner of this wonderfully beautiful structure, but above all the staff...the waiters for the excellent service....the chefs for the dishes that were excellent both in flavor and presentation.....and then we sincerely thank Fabiana, a wonderful person who made us feel at home.....if I had to recommend, I would have no doubts in proposing Villa Casale

17/07/2025: I bought three mozzarellas from them because I'm a customer of the Cardito dairy. It was a terrible experience; the mozzarella was stale and crumbled in my hands. I recommend the Cardito store reconsider who they sell their brand to.
