12/10/2025: Excellent place which, in addition to offering the typical products of a bar/pastry shop, provides a diner where you can eat a seasonal dish at a modest price. The coffee is extraordinary while the staff is very kind. For football lovers it is possible to watch the matches. Recommended

20/10/2025: The chestnut pastries I bought in the square, while nice-looking, tasted moldy. Nothing like the ones I've bought elsewhere. And three different items: a swirl, a piece of tart, and a sfogliatella.

19/10/2025: Renovated, very nice place. Desserts a bit disappointing: 2 trays of Castagnole bought directly from the pastry shop, a bit old, at least 2 days old. €20 per kg. The chestnut tart was tasteless. €1.50 per piece.

16/10/2025: The hours listed are wrong. Walked a mile in the rain to get the pizza on the menu. Arrived at 5:30 and was rudely dismissed. Not open until 7pm and no pizza. Guy was way ruder than he needed to be.

14/08/2025: GO HERE RIGHT NOW. This place was right next to our hotel but its right on the transportation bus stop. When I say this place is exceptional, it is. My husband and I love local places off the map is this service, food, atmosphere was exceptional. Its outside of the city with beautiful sunset views, they have a pool FREE AND OPEN TO EVERYONE, a cocktail bar for the pool and restaurant with the most unique, beautifully crafted cocktails (and I am a bartender). The bartender KNOWS his craft. Don't order a drink, have him make you something based off your liquor choice because he never steered me wrong. They grow their own herbs outside the restaurant and create their own olive oil/lemonchello on the grounds. Pasquale was an incredible waiter who takes hospitality as an art. He was kind, professional, attentive-- and we truly felt like we were friends by the time dinner ended. He was so kind, that he even cut up my fish for me knowing that I was a little hesitant to see a "whole" fish on a plate. The food was great. This place deserves upgraded new reviews because whatever old reviews are posted-- are NOT what this place is now. This needs to be a viral location.

01/04/2025: Trovandomi a passare voglio provare questa pizzeria. Vengo avvisato che c’è una comitiva danese e la sala dentro non era molto tranquilla. Opto per la veranda e da subito chiedo di accendere una stufa a fungo. Il proprietario ci serve subito per non far aspettare troppo(👍) anche perché ha poco personale. Fritti ottimi, pizza nella norma anche se l’avrei preferita più cotta. Il “problema” è che nonostante le mie insistenze non accedevano il fungo (chiesto 5 volte)e a fine serata la sig.ra / cameriera ha esclamato in modo ironico: “fa freddo??” Al conto, senza fare polemica, mi fanno risparmiare qualcosa e chiede scusa per la mancanza. Per me questa è professionalità… un bel po’ meno da chi deve accontentare la sala.

16/02/2025: Today disaster struck Lady Luck. Terrible service, a lady took orders without knowing anything, she looked like someone just passing through, totally incompetent. The problems begin with the appetizers after a long wait, if the meatballs include 6 pieces why not bring 5????? The pizzas, the dough always good but....one pizza had a hair on it....how disgusting....one arrived wrong, the other was a mignon that was not requested. We have been customers for years but after today I don't think I will go back. They didn't even apologize It's a shame, sometimes on a bad day it's better to close and waste the day rather than lose customers

03/11/2025: The pastries are undoubtedly excellent, but the service leaves much to be desired here. The waitresses' feigned kindness borders on rudeness. On Sunday evening, they told us that closing time varies; another time, they almost kicked us out. I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay.

02/11/2025: Slow and haphazard service. Spritz for €8! The woman who runs the place was rude, greedy, and inattentive to customer needs. Not recommended.

20/09/2025: The best! The food is delicious, and the meat is truly excellent. We come here often: the appetizers are truly excellent (not just the usual fries, but many unique and delicious treats). Not to mention the sandwiches, which I highly recommend. The ingredients are high-quality, especially the meat, and they're all excellent, with an exceptional and thoughtful combination of ingredients. As for the atmosphere, it really feels like being in a Scottish pub. It's very welcoming, and the staff is truly kind and helpful. One of my favorite places. PS: I recommend booking because it gets very busy, especially on Saturday nights. It's definitely worth it. I also recommend the pork ribs.

27/10/2025: I had dinner at El Pajaro on Saturday night. I wasn't familiar with the place, and I have to say that, despite the full house, the service was impeccable, and the wait for my order was just a few minutes. Excellent value for money, everything was delicious! I'll definitely be back.

09/10/2025: The service was reasonably fine. But people are not joking about the frozen pizza bases! How tragic in this city to serve a frozen pizza base. Should be disappointed in serving that. As soon as we got the food we were wanted out. Meatballs were sparse….3 meatballs that I assume was in a bought tomato sauce. Partly on us for a poor choice but avoid this place. If they are serving frozen pizza base……what else are they serving frozen…..?

08/10/2025: DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. The food only gets 3 stars because my husband enjoyed his liver. The pizza base was obviously frozen and thr topping was less than adequate. No-one came to ask if our meal was okay otherwise I would have said no. The guy on the door is very pleasant don't be fooled. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

14/10/2025: The pizza is delicious to eat at the table because it's rolled out more and has a much better texture than takeout, which, having to be packed in cardboard, can't be treated as well. The ingredients are the same, of course, but Neapolitan pizza is a unique dish for this very reason; it's not just the ingredients that make it special, but also the people who make it! The interior is simple, perfect for eating pizza and chatting with friends at the table. In the summer, they set up outdoor tables. The service is good.

11/10/2025: An experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. We were sick during the night. The dough was rubbery and heavy, and the ingredients were unpleasant and tasteless. They need to do something about it, soon.

10/10/2025: Good pizza, quiet atmosphere, it's not a trendy pizzeria suitable for the stylish, but the important thing is that you eat well... perhaps I would consider the lighting too strong for my tastes... for the rest OK.

21/04/2025: Peggio di così è davvero difficile. Qualità pessima servizio inesistente......due camerieri per quanto gentili ......insufficienti per circa 300 persone. Tempi di attesa assurdi. Quantità delle porzioni insufficiente. Dopo antipasto e primo (totalmente freddo) hanno abbandonato il locale più della metà dei prenotati. Ulteriore beffa per essere rimasti fino alla fine avendo persone anziane al seguito. Peggio di uno scadente pranzo turistico. Eppure doveva essere il Pranzo Pasquale. Un consiglio ......anche se per quanto fatto non meritate neppure un consiglio ........cambiate lavoro........datevi al furto........il futuro è vostro.

22/05/2025: Avevamo prenotato online per la cena in questo locale e quando ci siamo recate in orario all'ingresso ci e' stato riferito che si trattava di una sera particolare e che avremmo dovuto attendere il primo tavolo libero, purtroppo non posso quindi recensire cibo&servizio. Un consiglio, quello di avvertire della mancanza di tavoli disponibili anche e soprattutto in caso di serate particolari, alle 21 non era ovvio trovare posto altrove..

18/05/2025: Prima sera a Napoli ,dopo un breve giro per la città ci siamo trovati per ora di cena in Piazza Dante (meravigliosa)e ci siamo fermati in questo grazioso Ristobar Ci hanno fatto accomodare in veranda.(tra l'altro non credo ci siano molti coperti all'interno)e abbiamo ordinato delle specialità del territorio...pasta e provola e spaghetti alla scarpariello.,entrambe buone e un fritto misto per me un pochino unto con contorno di friarelli . Il servizio un po lento ma cameriere gentile Noi avevamo prenotato con the fork ottenendo uno sconto del 50%sulle portate comunque il prezzo sarebbe stato adeguato.
