09/07/2025: We had a pleasant time at this café, where we ordered spritzers. We were generously treated to a complimentary tapas platter! I think it's extremely rare to see this. So thank you. The owners are also very welcoming. I highly recommend this place.

22/05/2025: Very friendly service, centrally located in Scala on the main square. Very recommended for morning coffee and simple breakfast, but also for aperitif before heading to your favorite restaurant on the Amalfi coast.

12/07/2025: Porzioni scarse, qualità del cibo da rivedere, prezzi alti. Non consiglio rispetto ad altri ristoranti di Vietri. Nella zona c'è se sono altri che meritano.

01/07/2025: Sono stato in questo locale per mangiare una fetta di carne in compagnia della mia ragazza, era vuoto, alche' vediamo il menu' e i prezzi erano esagerati, quindi decidiamo per il nostro baget 2 fette di carne con un contorno e con un calice di vino, poi nell'attesa prendiamo 2 mozzarelle in carrozza. Poi si presenta un cameriere invitandoci a scegliere la carne al bancone, quella che volevamo non c'era e il macellaio ci consiglia un tipo simile ed accettiamo, ma voglio dire come ci avete fatto scegliere la carne a noi perche' non la pesate pure davanti a noi ( furbacchioni), va bhe' arriva questa carne che era pure buona ma non di mezzo kg con le patate senza nemmeno un po' di salsa. Mentre mangiavamo cuocevano altra carne in sala e senza nemmeno l'aria condizionata sudavo, ma dico io tu ti prendi 4 euro a persona solo per sederti, 70 euro 2 fettine di carne, 12 euro 2 patate, 13 euro 2 calici di vino, 8 euro 2 mozzarelle in carrozza, 2,50 l'acqua e non accendi l'aria condizionata?, dopodiche' volevano che prendessimo anche il dolce con l'amaro, a dir vero me ne sono non dico andato ma scappato perche' gia' con questo finto snob e quella musica sottofondo senza aria condizionata tutto chiuso con la brace dentro la sala mi stavo sentendo male. Queste sono le vere rapine e non ritornero' mai piu'.

28/06/2025: First of all: I never start with preconceptions about a place where I go for the first time. That said, I found heterogeneity in the staff, the girls were all nice, elegant and courteous, some of the male waiters were very distinguished, a couple of elements, however, a little dissonant with the environment and the slightly glamorous atmosphere that you breathe. Apart from this, they satisfied all our requests. Not that we had asked for the moon, but it happened in other places that they treated us with condescension, well, it doesn't happen here. You feel pampered because the behaviors are affable and kind. Regarding the wines, if I could write a judgment on the wine list, mine would certainly be high, also for the expertise and professionalism of the person who, I believe, is a sommelier, who opened us an excellent bottle of Costasera Masi 2018 and expertly prepared the glasses to welcome this nectar of the gods! The appetizers were delicious. Balanced tartare with a special flavour thanks to the addition of capers, of excellent quality. Confit cherry tomatoes that “sinned” only in quantity!!! Tasty and light Apulian bombetta. The side dishes were also pleasant, everything was fresh and, if it wasn’t, it seemed so, both to the sight and to the taste, ergo, fine as it was. The meats….the only punctum dolens: they didn’t correspond in taste to the pleasant sensation of the sight: that is, they were more beautiful than good! I would have preferred my fillet a little higher and more raw, my request at the order had been: not rare, more, almost raw! My companion’s Simmental was also cooked a little more than the rare one, the marbling and consistency of the fat were good, but the pulp wasn’t very tasty. The dessert was a fashion rocher, balanced and the right size. The bill was under €230 and they reduced it to €210 and that's fine, if only the wine alone cost €60, WELL DESERVED!!! And in any case, loving Amarone, we were well aware of the amount of the expense, in addition to it being clearly indicated on the menu, like all the dishes, another point in favor of the seriousness and professionalism of the place. Unfortunately I always like to be able to give my best, but from this first experience I was unable to draw an excellent judgment....maybe a second visit will be needed....and we will make the sacrifice, I hope soon!!🤣🤣🤣 Ps thanks for understanding because on the way out I also broke a glass!!

16/05/2025: It is a hotel, but we only stopped to eat. Excellent food, friendly staff, welcoming and quiet environment. There are also rooms for events and then it has a beautiful garden and a large parking lot. It is also suitable for children and is wheelchair accessible.

17/06/2025: I was at a communion nice restaurant, but very poor staff not very attentive in the service, they did not pay attention to providing drinks and cutlery at the right time, good food but miserable quantities, very fast service not even time to wait between one course and another, I would have expected more given the presentation of the restaurant. I do not recommend.

26/05/2025: Nice place, good but poor food. They saved on everything, the service was discreet, waiters not very attentive to everything. Dishes did not arrive directly from the kitchen but plated at the moment so much so that food fell on people. There was no attention for intolerant people as they had to wait a long time and then the wrong dishes arrived. We expected much more for what was paid for the menu. Mr. Arturo not serious about the things established, despite the various reminders he did not care. It was all rushed we had to vacate the room quickly because there was another party and we had not been told. Terrible experience. I do not recommend!!!

11/06/2025: I was there tonight for an end of school year party, bad impression with the mothers, estimate with a cost at the time of payment, they wanted to turn the gold in the right way, not very kind staff. Too bad that 22 mothers said they would never come back.

01/08/2025: We just ate for four. Three linguine alla pescatore, spaghetti with clams, and fried fish. Everything was delicious. Very pleasant and courteous family-run place. We had a great time. Very good prices.

27/07/2025: This evening, mindful of my friend's limited budget, we stopped at "La Sirena" restaurant on Via Roma for pizza. Against all expectations, despite the young age (and immeasurable beauty) of the chef, a longtime friend of mine, the dish we were served was truly excellent, and the service was not bad at all. The price was very reasonable (thanks in part to some small personal considerations). That said, I'm surprised that, despite the quality of the food and the crowds in the streets, the restaurant had so few customers. Needless to say, I highly recommend it.

25/04/2025: I'm hungrier than when I arrived🤣 the location has been studied down to the smallest detail but the rooms are cold and with little natural light, obviously no internet, even though they say it is there. Lunch began with a rather philosophical explanation of their approach to cooking. I assure you that there is more philosophy than food. I remember that the place is called "Antica trattoria" but only the name and perhaps some ornaments are old. There were 4 of us and we thought about ordering 2 appetizers for fear of getting bloated...poor deluded us. The portions are gourmet but the flavor is that of the canteen. I want to point out that the chef is young, I didn't see him but I found one of his (brown) hairs on the plate. They changed my first course, bringing one that I didn't like (without asking for anything), but it had the "advantage" of being more expensive... To conclude, the restaurant resembles the 80s and 90s campaigns against AIDS: "If you know it, you avoid it...if you know it, it won't kill you..."

22/07/2025: We stumbled upon this place while passing through and had a great time. Besides offering a wide range of starters, it seems to me to be essentially a grill restaurant with a large section of the menu dedicated to special cuts and types of meat. We shrugged our heels and ordered a very fresh seafood appetizer, followed by a mixed roast of meat, fish, lamb, and tuna, with sides of broccoli, potatoes, and mushrooms. The dishes were huge, and even though we enjoyed everything, we couldn't finish them. The service was no-frills but efficient. The bathrooms were clean and the bill was fair.
