18/09/2025: This pub is really beautiful, neat, and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. But they really need to improve on the food... the fried food is very greasy, the sandwiches are good overall, but the burger is small and dry, with little flavor. Ample parking outside.

05/08/2025: This restaurant really does stand out amongst the more run of the mill restaurants along the main promenade. A basket of “catch of the day” was brought to our table for us to choose which was then cooked for us. Never tasted baby squid like this; it was amazing! We asked for a local wine was very reasonably priced, dinner was authentic (carbonara & sea bass), beautifully presented and generous portion sizes. We’re finished with a twist on a tiramisu which was delicious. Staff very attentive but not intrusive.. just the right balance, Would love to pick this restaurant up and bring it to the UK!

11/10/2025: We've been there several times because it's one of the few places with a playground for children, but each time we told ourselves it was the last time. They have a fairly varied selection, but in my opinion, they don't have any signature dishes. From the open kitchen, you can see they have piles of pre-cooked sandwiches and burgers, which they perhaps pre-order to get through orders more quickly. The result, however, is that what arrives at your table is almost always cold (ditto for the fries) and doesn't correspond to your specific request (like rare). The staff is generally friendly, some extremely affable and helpful, others (especially one brunette with long hair) almost throw their plate in front of you as if they were doing you a favor. On Saturday, we witnessed numerous disgruntled customers complaining about the same things, and we realized that perhaps we weren't exaggerating. And to make matters worse, they charge, so the place is anything but cheap for the quality of the food served. Receipt optional if you don't ask...
09/10/2025: At just 28 years old, Frank Cavaliere is making a name for himself as one of the most exciting emerging pizza chefs in the Phlegraean Fields. His pizza is a perfect balance between tradition and innovation, a dough that speaks of passion and knowledge of the ingredients. The one pictured is a Margherita made with the direct melt-in-the-mouth method, where every detail speaks of care and sensitivity: a well-aired and slightly speckled crust, a sign of impeccable cooking in a wood-fired oven, and a soft yet firm base that accommodates tomato, mozzarella, and fresh basil. A drizzle of olive oil and a light sprinkling of pepper enhance the aromas and flavors. The dough is light, aromatic, and digestible, with that melt-in-the-mouth feel that only those who truly understand timing and temperatures can achieve. Frank is a curious and meticulous pizza chef, experimenting with flours and hydration methods without ever straying from the authentic soul of Neapolitan pizza. You can find his creations at Fab&Fud in Pozzuoli, where every Frank Cavaliere pizza becomes a little tale of flavor and local tradition. 02/08/2025: (Frattamaggiore location) Very kind staff, but everything was absurd. Croissants were €4, but especially disgusting. Photos of dry pancakes were €5. Above all, I want to point out that they call it Nutella, but it's definitely mixed with some Ciokonut. A terrible experience, unfortunately.
29/03/2025: I returned after four years and, if that's possible, it's gotten even better. From the focaccia to the yogurt, everything is delicious. The owner is very kind.

02/07/2025: Credo sia la stessa pizzeria di Cava, alla quale sono affezionato da anni. Con piacere, scopro che hanno aperto anche nella mia Salerno, motivo per il quale, entusiasta, decido di provarlo. Locale curatissimo, pulito, accogliente. Pizze buone, prezzi non modici, ma tutto sommato nella media. Il vero neo è il personale di sala. Apre le danze la signorina "Gianna", che, dopo aver atteso qualche secondo per iniziare l'ordine (l'interlocutore in quel momento era mio padre, quasi ottantenne), sbotta volgarmente e chiede al suo collega di seguire il tavolo, perché, a suo dire, stavamo perdendo solo tempo, il tutto condito dal suo invidiabile charme. Mi trattengo, cerco di capire chi sia il proprietario per le dovute rimostranze, ma desisto. Il collega, decisamente più gentile, ascolta le nostre richieste, con la cortesia di servire per primi i bimbi presenti al tavolo (tra i 3 e i 7 anni). Da quel momento, non si capisce più nulla. Arrivano bevande non ordinate, e di quelle ordinate alcune si "perdono" (la mia birra ho dovuto chiederla cinque volte). Poi, il turno delle pizze. Arrivano quasi a tutti, di quelle dei bambini nessuna traccia. Chiedo lumi al cameriere, e, per la prima volta nella mia vita, mi sento rispondere che non poteva dare la priorità ai bambini (se n'è ricordato solo dopo). Sono tentato di nuovo di cercare il proprietario, ma desisto di nuovo. Sarebbe stata, molto probabilmente, solo una grossa perdita di tempo (come questa, del resto). Credo abbia tutte le potenzialità per essere un'ottima pizzeria, ma la disorganizzazione e la maleducazione di qualcuno rendono il tutto scarsamente digeribile. Arrivederci a Cava
10/05/2025: Sono ritornato a pranzo con un amico, presi una parmigiana di melanzana affogata di pomodoro, l’ha andai ad assaggiare era ancora congelata nell’interno,il mio amico le polpette erano rovente da microonde orribile. Di primo presi una genovese senza amore per la cucina, altro primo con il baccalà. Mio dio vorrei dire a chi gestisce il locale, fate la pizza la cucina e un arte si fà con passione. Sconsigliatissimo

A group of us frequented this establishment daily during our stay in Salerno due to their high quality pastries and wonderful coffee as well as their hospitable attitude toward Americans. On our final day, we were provided a heartfelt, "Goodbye my friends!"... I will cherish this place and it's people.
