01/10/2025: Terrible experience at this bar. The staff, besides being extremely rude, also attacked me when I asked to pay. They claimed that payment was only possible by card "because the law says so," which is absolutely false. This was arrogant and unfair, combined with a total lack of courtesy. Highly discouraged. Given your response, I would like to point out that, contrary to what was stated at your business, the obligation to accept electronic payments also applies to the sale of stamped paper, top-ups, cigarettes, and other monopolies. In fact, with ADM Directorial Decision No. 355282/RU of June 26, 2023 (referenced by ADM Circular No. 95 of June 27, 2023), the previous Decision No. 487172/RU of October 25, 2022, which allowed tobacconists to refuse to accept POS terminals for these products, was revoked. Current legislation therefore establishes that the obligation to accept electronic payment methods must also be considered valid and effective for the sale of monopoly goods, including outlets that sell manufactured tobacco alongside their primary business.
