28/09/2023: I was on holiday with my partner, one evening we stopped to eat a sandwich, we had such a good time that we returned the next day; we tried every type of sandwich and absolutely recommend the hamburger the service kept the same quality as the food, they were kind and welcoming in both situations if you stay in Tropea, a tortuga sandwich must be eaten!

25/09/2023: So I was skeptical about stopping to eat something but this something surprised me a sandwich with hamburger and toasted chips good excellent service surprised me but I only give 1 star because it's expensive and 1 portion of onion rings €5 in my opinion a thief.

23/05/2024: Dit verborgen juweel verdient een vol restaurant. Rissotto zoals het bedoeld is maar toch met een twist. Tonijn waarbij de kok een manier vind om de plaatselijke ui een rol te geven zonder dat dit overheerst. Kortom een aanrader

14/05/2024: Great service and atmosphere, the owner was super friendly and helped recommend the best wines to us. The food was cooked very well but could have used some stronger flavors. Would recommend to anybody in the area looking for a nice meal

10/05/2024: Beautiful, well-appointed setting, rather well-cooked and tasty dishes, warm service but expensive for the quantity and originality. In short, questionable value for money knowing that there is no accompaniment with the dishes.

09/05/2024: Started out good. Wine selection was excellent..offered suggestions were spot on. Food was OK. We don't expect perfection everytime; the best wouldn't stand out if that was the case. Most of the meal was pretty good. The slow cooked prawns were under done. Problem started when (we're going to assume owners or somehow, people tied to the restaurant) showed up with their children. Please understand; our group is all about family, kids, grandkids, and all. But the staff attitude and interactions changed drastically almost immediately. Not for the better. And the worse part... the kids yelling, ignoring the adults efforts to quell. We were now eating at a daycare. Just wasn't acceptable. Wait staff was great. Don't understand the internal politics, but some introspection is probably in order. We weren't the only ones that noticed.

02/06/2024: Surprisingly bad pizza Except for “Il Normanne” in Tropea, I have never had such a bad pizza. Tastes worse than pizza delivered in Vienna.

01/06/2024: Worst experience of my life, the waitress in sweatpants was very unfriendly, she asked for a seat where there was pigeon droppings on the chair, replacing the chair was not an option, wiping it away with a napkin was (without soap or other cleaning products). We still decide to give the shop (I don't want to call it a restaurant) a chance. I ordered a tuna pizza, when it arrived after about an hour of waiting, I immediately noticed that the tuna was missing, I asked the waitress to bring me a new pizza, but what came was the same cold pizza (probably from a can sourced) tuna. The secret ingredient was easy to spot: 2 short hairs and another one from the waitress!! I then decided to eat something from the side as the brain ingredients were a bit too exotic for me. As expected, the edge was not crispy but still doughy. The only good thing about the store is that I got my money back after a long discussion. PS while we were discussing I saw the tetrapak wine standing on the floor behind the cash register.

03/04/2024: Remarkable atmosphere both inside the venue and in the outdoor room where there is also a white baby grand piano. Rich and tasty starter, excellent first fileja with swordfish and cherry tomatoes. Friendly and always available staff.

23/05/2024: Ristorante in uno dei tanti vicoli della bellissima Tropea, locale piccolo dove si mangia discretamente nulla di eccezionale, buoni i filey con le cipolle, personale gentile.

22/05/2024: Bel posticino, peccato però i sapori banali (pesce decongelato) e i prezzi alti per la quantità e la qualità offerta (ad esempio una porzione di spinaci saltati a 8 euro, non presenti sul menù della lavagnetta: chiedete sempre il prezzo per evitare sorprese).

25/05/2024: Given the variety of restaurants in Tropea, it's an absolute insider tip for me! Very friendly and attentive service, incredibly delicious food and a wonderful ambience in the quiet courtyard right in the center.
