The staff is always helpful and friendly. I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Tropea, enjoy the town, the crystal-clear waters, and stay in an oasis of peace. 19/08/2025: The restaurant is an excellent choice for those who love authentic flavors, especially Tropea onions, the star of a richly varied appetizer and two first courses, one of which can easily be veganized by omitting the pecorino cheese without sacrificing flavor. The staff is friendly and helpful, attentive to every need, and the owner was particularly thoughtful, bringing me freshly picked figs after noticing my interest in the ones next to the cake. The location is welcoming and well-kept, and the dishes are refined and flavorful. The experience was very positive and delicious, although the price was high, commensurate with the quality and attentiveness of the service.

A refined take on traditional Calabrian cuisine. Everything is served with great style and creativity. And all in the historic ambiance of an old palazzo. The highlight of our stay in Tropea. Absolutely worth it.

There's little to say about the food: it's truly excellent and absolutely worth a visit. The fish is incredibly fresh and carefully cooked, and every dish is a delight. My only complaint is the truffle, which had a bit too much cocoa, making it a bit difficult to enjoy, but overall, the experience was spectacular. The staff is friendly, personable, and very professional, always ready to make guests feel at ease. A special mention goes to the owner: a genuine and passionate person, attentive to every detail and capable of conveying even more value to this place with his story. A restaurant I recommend without hesitation: it's truly worth it. I hope to return soon.

20/07/2025: I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant in Tropea! Located in the heart of the city center, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. The fish is fresh and high-quality, and the tuna tartare was a real revelation! The owner was very kind and helpful, and the staff was equally welcoming and professional. The prices are beyond excellent considering the quality of the food and service. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Tropea.

30/09/2025: I'm sharing my very positive experience! We were four of us at this restaurant on July 11, 2025. The welcome was typically touristy, but the restaurant actually offered impeccable service, good food, and excellent value. It's a shame about the portions, which were really small.

18/10/2025: Nice restaurant with a good wibe. The owner and staff were really nice and presence. We had both different kind of meat and vegetarian meals and it was all good. So a good experience and we are considering going back again to try some of the other dishes. Definitely recommendable.

09/10/2025: A disgrace. The restaurant is called What's Amore, but there's no love or respect for the customer here. We came with my daughter for lunch and ordered the raw seafood: the oysters weren't fresh, had a bitter taste, and smelled bad. When we asked to change them, the waitress said "that's just how they are" and brought another—the same and inedible. The pasta with clams? First overcooked, then raw. After two attempts, we gave up. The mixed fried fish was also almost inedible, with the bitter taste of old, unrefreshed oil. In the end, almost 80 euros for a bad meal and arrogant service. When I complained, the waitress said she "didn't want to talk to us." What's Amore? No love, just disappointment.
