27/11/2025: Terrible service, this evening I was at the mc drive I ordered some things, everything was fine until I opened the bags and saw that practically everything was missing, I had to go back, the guy at the mc didn't even believe me with photos and everything, the best thing is that I told him what was missing I thought everything was fine I opened the bag again and 2 more things were missing, rushing is fine but this is pure carelessness and indifference!!!!!

10/11/2025: I placed my order at the Kiosk. I was given order number 277. After 5 minutes, the monitor displayed that I could pick it up. The order wasn't there. After 15 minutes, the manager asked what I was waiting for. After 20 minutes, I received my order.

12/10/2025: Horrible experience. We went for dinner and were very hungry, we were said we have to wait for pizza for about 30 mins, so we decided to order fries to eat smthg before the pizzas will be ready. The fries came after the pizza, we said we don’t want them anymore since it’s already too late and asked to cut the pizza into slices. The blond waiter said that fries are already prepared and she will not take them back, and in this case to cut pizza will take her 10 mins ( she knew we were waiting for the order more than 30 mins, and we are hungry and we would just eat those fries). This looked really ugly and she spoiled the mood to all of us. At the bar after complaints they removed the fries from the bill, but there was a big bottle of water on the bill that they put on the table without even asking us ( we didn’t order). They spoiled our evening.

19/09/2025: Stunning location, with a wonderful sea view. I had a truly wonderful dinner, immersed in a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The pizza was truly excellent, the service was quick, and the waiters were kind and efficient. Nothing to complain about, an experience that tastes of Reggio and the sea. P.S. If you find a knife in the plant, it's mine ❤️

24/08/2025: You should just be ashamed!!!!! We ordered 4 zeppole, two eggplant fritters, a capricciosa pizza, and a beef burger sandwich, cheddar salad and bacon (I had the mayonnaise and ketchup removed which were listed on the menu), a large water and a Moretti beer.... we had to pay 21 euros... at the cashier we paid 24.50... they increased the sandwich from 5 to 8 euros and the pizza from 4.50 to 5 euros... when I complained that on the downloaded PDF menu and on the one hanging on the wall outside there was a different price, they replied that it was old and needed to be updated.... it's a shame that those who were Calabrian and paid before us had paid the price that was written everywhere. If you are on holiday in Locri and therefore you are not Calabrian, do not go to Poldo, you could have unpleasant surprises because the price suddenly changes... I would have paid you not only the 3 euros more... since I am on holiday I do not care about the euro ...but for the fooling, take someone else. Shame.

23/08/2025: I don't recommend it. The prices displayed both on the sign outside and those you scan with the code aren't real. When you go to pay, you end up with a different amount. I ask for information on the bill and am told the prices are up to date. I hope law enforcement does its job and checks out these scammers who inflate prices without updating the menu. Being fooled like this is truly shameful.

23/09/2025: A few days ago I got a mille-feuille cake for my birthday, an experience I absolutely WON'T repeat. It was a negative experience from every perspective, especially the appearance: when I opened the box, the cake was donut-shaped and drooping on one side, but that's okay... not even the hint of a decoration. I had asked for one flavor and was given another. I had asked for no more than 1.5 kg and it was over 2 kg, not to mention the exorbitant price. Total disappointment.

20/10/2025: Terrible experience, to say the least, scammers... when I entered with my friend, there were no other customers. At first we were welcomed well by the staff, and the pizza chef, with a kind and smiling manner, offered to prepare us a 4 seasons pizza, to sit at a table. Even though my friend and I wanted a light dinner, we had decided to share the pizza, a portion of chips, a glass bottle of coke, both to be consumed by 2, since there was no one else consuming inside the "fast food" at the tables, the order was delivered to our table very quickly. Honestly, the pizza was good and with standard ingredients. The portion of chips was presented in a small oval earthenware bowl with chips that if poured into a bag did not even reach €1 of chips. One of the employees came to check twice if we liked it. When it came to the cashier to pay the bill, the same employee offered us coffee and bitter, which we did not consume and thanked her. of kindness, the second employee gave us the bill... €18... at that point we paid, said goodbye and thanked the staff, my friend and I went outside to walk towards the car, but in the meantime I was not convinced by the high price, while talking about it with my friend looking for the receipt that the employee who gave us the bill had not given us, I decided to go back to ask precisely the individual cost of the drinks... the pizza chef entering and turning his back on me, not seeing me... spat on the floor outside the entrance before going back in and closing the door... and up to this point I understood the fake kindness of the pizza chef, but far too rude and out of place in the completely tasteless gesture of his spitting. I go in to ask the cashier if she hadn't made a mistake with the bill, keeping in mind that she hadn't given me and my friend a receipt... the cashier turns around, having had the garbage bin behind her and pretends to find it among all the other papers, without even showing it to me, she redoes the bill mentioning the costs, of which... A 4 SEASONS PIZZA €9, A PORTION OF CHIPS €4.50, A SMALL COKE €2, AND TWO COVERS OF €2 EACH... but for the second time no receipt for me... I said my piece that with the cost of the 2 covers you could already buy a pizza, and that in a fast food I think the covers are a real robbery... with an unsatisfied and annoyed air I thanked and said goodbye, but never again, so double mockery, pretense and scam only for their interests and not to make the customers happy again, the icing on the cake was the spitting of the pizza chef, who didn't know he had me behind him👏

10/09/2025: A truly pleasant experience, the pizza is simply delicious, and the staff is extremely kind, helpful, and attentive to every need. A place I'll happily return to and one I recommend to anyone looking for excellent pizza in a welcoming and professional environment!

12/07/2025: I recently went to this place and had three raw crepes and some really bad Nutella (Eurospin). I was pregnant and it even made me sick. Kindly say thank you when you use the bad stuff.

27/08/2025: I bought a cappuccino to take with a croissant, they only gave me the 🥄 which melted and they forgot to add the milk

10/05/2025: Last Christmas, I bought a handmade chocolate panettone with Nutella biscuits. I never thought it would be so good! We made a great impression on our guests, and the product lasted as long as "Natali a Santu Stefanu" (Christmas in Saint Stefanu).

14/09/2025: The atmosphere is not bad, we ordered a traditional Neapolitan pizza, it turned out that it was baked not in the oven but in the oven and was half raw. Even the Italians who were leaving asked if we liked it and said that the pizza was terrible. The waiters are quite unfriendly

26/08/2025: Good bar, but could become excellent with improved service... given its perfect location in the heart of Santa Lucia.

01/11/2025: The place is objectively beautiful and well-kept. The service, despite the presence of foreigners, is quite knowledgeable, although the blond guy could use some improvement in his behavior because he's often grumpy. The food is the sore point; they go day by day; some days you eat great, others you eat poorly. The fried chicken, regardless, is inedible because it tastes like fish, and like the fries, they use the same frying oil that shouldn't be used. The dishes are decent, nothing special. Once every two months is fine, but no more than that if you don't want to end up in the hospital, like a friend of mine who got food poisoning a month ago while eating there.

22/09/2025: I ordered 3 poke bowls, and they had ingredients other than rice. They forgot the salmon in mine. I tried it in my brother's, and the salmon was very mushy.

29/10/2025: Terrible service! Friendly waiters, but terrible organization (the owners' fault). Payment with the POS never works, invoice requests that they promptly say they'll do, but they never send!

05/07/2025: We booked, but once we got there there were no chairs or a table available. After about 20 minutes of standing, a girl from the staff told us that they had to take the table because they couldn't handle the situation due to lack of staff. A disappointing and unprofessional experience. If you can't guarantee service, you shouldn't accept reservations.

30/09/2025: Great stop over bar , average food. Good location.

14/09/2025: the place is also "nice" but you can see that the people who work there are not, if you order something that is not to their liking you will not be welcome, strange also because the customer is always right and if I ask you for a specific thing that was invented to be served and I expect that😂

29/09/2025: I booked a table for two for lunch; they welcomed us and brought us some truly excellent and delicious appetizers while we waited. Next, we ordered a Tropea tartare appetizer (many compliments both for the quality of the meat and the truly excellent preparation) and omakase nigiri. For our first course, we had a very special but, above all, rich and delicious carbonara. Finally, we opted for a Prussian heifer and a Podolica tagliata, both with a side of baked potatoes and a bottle of Ciro' Rosso. The fillet was truly tender and excellent, nothing more to say... simply excellent 🤩 I highly recommend this experience to everyone, at least once in their life 🥰 P.S. Attached are photos of the appetizers, the Tropea tartare, the omakase nigiri, and the Podolica tagliata.

27/07/2025: I'm a Wagyu beef producer. This customer ordered €1,700 worth of meat. After delivery, he was the one who initially responded to my messages: he told me the meat was excellent and that he wanted to collaborate further, and he was already placing a second order. I said, "Pay me the first order first." From then on, he kept saying over the phone or via WhatsApp, "I'll pay you now, send me the invoice again, so I can sort it out..." but nothing! Just lies! I strongly advise all suppliers to be very careful.

31/10/2025: Terrible service, you arrive at 10.55pm and they make you wait 5 minutes, it's 11pm and after five minutes of waiting they tell you that the order you want is no longer available after 11pm, what a shame on you and the whole chain and who made you open

10/08/2025: We had dinner at a family dinner after waiting a long time we went to get drinks we couldn't go down to eat because they didn't bring us the menu in the end the bill was very high for having taken a starter and 5 second courses not recommended

09/08/2025: I went to this restaurant with my family, there were 8 of us, poor service, decent local food but with a big flaw: they don't have a menu to choose what to eat, much less indicate the price list or, more importantly, allergens... they basically decide with what they have at the moment! Another negative thing: we paid an exaggeration for a mixed appetizer for the whole table, which cost €70, and 5 slices of meat with two bottles of water for a total of €185. Overall, I was disappointed and definitely won't go again... I don't recommend it!

30/09/2025: The location on the Strait of Messina is beautiful, but the food and service are poor. The music is loud and the noise is annoying.

28/09/2025: 5 euros for two coffees (including a 2 euro service charge) seems too much, especially considering that the coffee is served in paper cups (not a great idea in a windy area...)
