10/08/2025: We had dinner at a family dinner after waiting a long time we went to get drinks we couldn't go down to eat because they didn't bring us the menu in the end the bill was very high for having taken a starter and 5 second courses not recommended

15/05/2025: I regret not reading the reviews before booking. It would have saved us a wasted day for our children and saved us adults hard-earned money! In fact, I agree with all the negative reviews: no welcome, independent tours of the farm (calling it that is an insult) without any form of guidance or enthusiasm for the children, dusty toys, dilapidated and unsafe playground equipment throughout the grounds, and no care. Nothing that was advertised matched the reality. The only ones who were smiling were the rats (I said rats, not mice) that ran around undisturbed, even near the kitchen area! Anyone who denies this is lying!

12/10/2025: Horrible experience. We went for dinner and were very hungry, we were said we have to wait for pizza for about 30 mins, so we decided to order fries to eat smthg before the pizzas will be ready. The fries came after the pizza, we said we don’t want them anymore since it’s already too late and asked to cut the pizza into slices. The blond waiter said that fries are already prepared and she will not take them back, and in this case to cut pizza will take her 10 mins ( she knew we were waiting for the order more than 30 mins, and we are hungry and we would just eat those fries). This looked really ugly and she spoiled the mood to all of us. At the bar after complaints they removed the fries from the bill, but there was a big bottle of water on the bill that they put on the table without even asking us ( we didn’t order). They spoiled our evening.

19/09/2025: Stunning location, with a wonderful sea view. I had a truly wonderful dinner, immersed in a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The pizza was truly excellent, the service was quick, and the waiters were kind and efficient. Nothing to complain about, an experience that tastes of Reggio and the sea. P.S. If you find a knife in the plant, it's mine ❤️

31/12/2025: There's only one waiter, clearly not keeping up. The food is generally good, although the portions are small. We waited a long time. The price isn't right.

29/09/2025: I booked a table for two for lunch; they welcomed us and brought us some truly excellent and delicious appetizers while we waited. Next, we ordered a Tropea tartare appetizer (many compliments both for the quality of the meat and the truly excellent preparation) and omakase nigiri. For our first course, we had a very special but, above all, rich and delicious carbonara. Finally, we opted for a Prussian heifer and a Podolica tagliata, both with a side of baked potatoes and a bottle of Ciro' Rosso. The fillet was truly tender and excellent, nothing more to say... simply excellent 🤩 I highly recommend this experience to everyone, at least once in their life 🥰 P.S. Attached are photos of the appetizers, the Tropea tartare, the omakase nigiri, and the Podolica tagliata.

17/01/2026: The worst pizza I've ever seen. We waited an hour and a half for pitiful pizzas, completely raw dough, watery toppings, horrendous. Absolutely don't go. Rude service, and on top of that, they even gave us the wrong change at the cash register. And I repeat, the rudeness of the service in remaking the raw pizza. We had to get a biochetasis. You're disgusting, I hope this pizzeria closes down.

30/12/2025: Never eaten such rubbish, we ordered takeaway pizzas at 8 and they were given to us at 9.40pm, you have the barbaric courage to call it pizza, raw without sauce, or mozzarella at the cost of €6.00 ​​a Margherita to throw up not to mention the marinara

28/08/2025: The employees stand there watching for two hours to serve a slice of pizza. He doesn't even know the prices of his things. He charged me 14 euros for 5 pizzas and a large Coke, which actually cost 13 euros.

28/12/2025: We had booked this restaurant for a sushi lunch, organizing everything a few days in advance. However, when we arrived, we found the restaurant completely closed, with a sign reading: "We are closed on December 28th due to staff shortages." No one had notified us in any way: not a phone call or a text message. It was extremely frustrating to make the trip there only to find out at the last minute that the restaurant wasn't open, especially considering we had a confirmed reservation. A complete lack of professionalism and respect for customers' time. A simple warning would have avoided all this inconvenience. Poor management. We won't be returning.

01/11/2025: The place is objectively beautiful and well-kept. The service, despite the presence of foreigners, is quite knowledgeable, although the blond guy could use some improvement in his behavior because he's often grumpy. The food is the sore point; they go day by day; some days you eat great, others you eat poorly. The fried chicken, regardless, is inedible because it tastes like fish, and like the fries, they use the same frying oil that shouldn't be used. The dishes are decent, nothing special. Once every two months is fine, but no more than that if you don't want to end up in the hospital, like a friend of mine who got food poisoning a month ago while eating there.

24/08/2025: I arrive and see a waitress eating a mixed fried food near the pizza oven. Everything is fine, nothing special. We sit down and order. No bread or breadsticks on the table. We wait for more than an hour. Finally, the pizzas and mixed fried food arrive. A friend even left almost the whole pizza. 4 mixed fried food portions are poor. Mine was actually half the size of the others. The location is nice, but it's better to have a dive with good food than a nice location with hunger and prices a little higher than the restaurants in the area (for the locals, you saw me once and you never saw me again).

24/08/2025: You should just be ashamed!!!!! We ordered 4 zeppole, two eggplant fritters, a capricciosa pizza, and a beef burger sandwich, cheddar salad and bacon (I had the mayonnaise and ketchup removed which were listed on the menu), a large water and a Moretti beer.... we had to pay 21 euros... at the cashier we paid 24.50... they increased the sandwich from 5 to 8 euros and the pizza from 4.50 to 5 euros... when I complained that on the downloaded PDF menu and on the one hanging on the wall outside there was a different price, they replied that it was old and needed to be updated.... it's a shame that those who were Calabrian and paid before us had paid the price that was written everywhere. If you are on holiday in Locri and therefore you are not Calabrian, do not go to Poldo, you could have unpleasant surprises because the price suddenly changes... I would have paid you not only the 3 euros more... since I am on holiday I do not care about the euro ...but for the fooling, take someone else. Shame.

23/08/2025: I don't recommend it. The prices displayed both on the sign outside and those you scan with the code aren't real. When you go to pay, you end up with a different amount. I ask for information on the bill and am told the prices are up to date. I hope law enforcement does its job and checks out these scammers who inflate prices without updating the menu. Being fooled like this is truly shameful.

06/09/2025: €20 for one umbrella and two loungers in the second row. Clean beach, clean bathrooms and showers, soft music, crystal-clear water. I recommend it.

23/08/2025: We spent the day at the beach, renting sun loungers and parasols for €20. Two draft beers were €9. The food was good, typical beach food, but I thought it was a bit pricey. We spent €36 on two bottles of water, a hamburger, a sandwich, and two coffees. The hamburger was a great surprise, highly recommended. The staff is very friendly.

05/10/2025: Unfortunately, I had to note the poor storage of dairy products. I purchased ricotta and mozzarella twice, and they smelled of mold. Naturally, I reported the matter, but surprisingly, no action was taken. So the only solution would be to file a complaint with the Carabinieri.

03/12/2025: I've known La Torroneria for many years, and during the Christmas season I order their torrone and other traditional sweets online. As always, delivery is fast, precise, and on-time. The products are out of this world; to say they're delicious is an understatement... Highly recommended.

11/09/2025: Non-existent service; it took an hour to order. I asked for a glass of sparkling water, and after 40 minutes they said they didn't have any. I don't recommend it.
