08/08/2025: We stopped for lunch on our trip and were greeted very warmly. Our seafood lunch was excellent, with fresh, well-prepared ingredients. The atmosphere was fresh and clean. I highly recommend it if you're passing through!

23/08/2025: August 2025: A welcoming place, especially the garden where I dined. Efficient waiters, and the owner was always available to accommodate our needs. The pizza was truly delicious, definitely one of the best this summer.

22/08/2025: After being satisfied twice, I had to change my mind this time. The staff was constantly circling the tables; the wait for a bottle of water was 20 minutes, and for the pizzas, from the moment you ordered, another 20 minutes. In short, I wouldn't recommend it, especially during these times. And then, the icing on the cake: children playing with balloons among the tables, with the placid approval of their parents, while everyone else (including me) ate pizza with balloons on top. All this without the waiters saying a word to these gentlemen. A very negative experience.

12/07/2025: Lobster (lobster) with pasta and tomato sauce, a marvel! As a nutritionist, I asked with minimal oil, which they followed. It is enough to ask and insist, if necessary, when restaurateurs do not always understand why. I sometimes take the time to explain that my diet is carbohydrate-protein but fat-free. Not easy to get this principle to be accepted, in the country of olive oil... It was, however, really succulent. Spices release aromas, which do not require oil. I really licked my ass, according to the established expression. My fingers were full... for a dish at only 25 euros! The (magic) lobster with pasta and tomato, a wonder! As a nutritionist, I asked for it with minimal oil, and they respected the rule. Just ask and insist, if necessary, when restaurateurs don't always understand why. Sometimes I take the trouble to explain that my diet is based on carbohydrates and proteins, but without fats. It is not easy to accept this principle, in the land of olive oil... But it was really succulent. Spices release aromas that do not require oil. I licked my mustache, as they say. I had my fingers covered... for a dish for only 25 euros!

13/08/2025: Very friendly and the food was truly delicious. The arancini are a true specialty and not at all greasy. The croquettes are also delicious! Some people even become art critics when it comes to food, but I can say with certainty that my Sicilian grandmother would have been thrilled! The service was also quick despite it being busy.

02/09/2025: Very disappointing. The only fresh fish are the anchovies and seafood mixed in the first courses with the frozen fish. The trick is the absence of the asterisk on the menu to make people believe that everything is fresh. And what's more, saying that since the fish is frozen it implies that it is frozen. I don't know if it's ignorance or cunning, I think more the latter.

11/08/2025: Nice place, friendly staff, and very good pizza. Definitely worth a visit again. P.S. For those who say there's no parking, I don't know which place they went to, since I parked outside, and there are two parking spaces 50 meters away.

30/06/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ L’Angolo del Buongustaio – Amantea Small place, but a great discovery! I went to Angolo del Buongustaio during a weekend in Amantea and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, perfect for an informal break. The staff was kind and quick in their service. I tried several things and every bite was a confirmation: the pizza is well cooked, with a light and digestible dough. Even the fried foods (panzerotti and arancini) are delicious: crunchy on the outside, stringy on the inside and not at all greasy. The prices are fair and the portions are generous. You can feel the care in the products and in the preparation. A place without frills, but with lots of taste and authenticity. If you are in Amantea and you want something good, you can go here for sure! I would gladly go back.

The complete aperitivo is also excellent and plentiful, offering, at a truly affordable price, an excellent selection of tastings including a cocktail or soft drink. Attentive service, even for those with celiac disease: once the issue was reported in advance, the staff created a special menu.

06/08/2025: Ice cream shop located in Amantea, excellent ice cream, average prices, possibility of sitting inside or outside, I recommend it.

02/08/2025: As soon as we entered, we were greeted kindly, the service was fast, the food excellent, the only flaw being that my partner made a change to the pizza by substituting an ingredient that was actually added as an extra. Otherwise, everything was fine.
