You can immediately sense that hospitality isn't just a gimmick here, but a genuine passion. The food was excellent – ​​top-notch in terms of taste, fresh, and prepared with great care. 19/10/2025: A secluded spot, difficult to find for those unfamiliar with the area. Very crowded, and the wait for two pizzas was quite long, but I must say we were aware of this. We were kindly served complimentary beans and tripe with potatoes as welcome appetizers. The food was good, and the long-awaited pizza was also good. Prices were average.

Since 2026, the menu has had new specialty pizzas that I highly recommend trying. I've dined here about 20 times, and each time, the positive story repeats itself...

19/01/2026: Emilio, the owner, was immediately available and friendly as soon as he saw us come in. He let us choose a table, and we took advantage of the opportunity to get one for six, but there were only two of us; it wasn't as crowded as the last time we came, so we were comfortable. Valentina, smiling and attentive, immediately offered us a taste of the IMPACCHIUSE potatoes, a local specialty. If I have to point out a flaw, I can only complain about the speed of service. I had a lamb tagliata on a red-hot griddle, which I had already had the first time; I remembered it as fantastic, and it once again confirmed Vernante's unique 450-day tradition of goodness. My other half had a Margherita with porcini mushrooms, exceptional; for us Neapolitans, it was a real surprise. They were great, friendly, and very fast. Our favorite place in Rende. In the summer, being outside will be even more pleasant. I forgot, they also offered us a Nutella donut 😋😋😋😋😋 at the end. I forgot to bring a portion of zucchini flower fritters upon arrival, just to please 💯 Cristiano

30/12/2025: Relatively fast service with friendly staff, a wide selection of local products, a spacious restaurant with parking, all surrounded by the greenery of the Calabrian mountains. Recommended!

19/12/2025: A place that really surprised me. Located in a secluded spot with a cool area, a bit far away but worth it. The location is very large, perfect for several parties, and it has a great view. The service was a bit slow, but I understand that given the crowd. The staff was helpful and friendly. The food was truly excellent, with good homemade ingredients. The price was really fair.

11/09/2025: Our visit to Granitiamo was very disappointing and confusing from the start. The prices and rules were unclear: the menus at the tables indicated lower prices, while only inside did we discover the actual cost of the granitas (€3.50 for the medium one and €5.00 for the large one). Furthermore, we were verbally informed that the €3.50 granita allowed a maximum of two flavors, while the €5.00 one allowed three. ​We ended up spending €13 for two granitas and one brioche col tuppo, a total far higher than expected. Furthermore, we couldn't pay by card, and we weren't given a receipt. ​The service was rude and rushed. Conversely, we noticed a marked disparity in the treatment given to another table, likely regulars, who received special attention and significantly better service, including a souvenir photo taken by the owner. An experience we will not repeat and that we do not recommend.

16/02/2026: Quality ingredients, excellent pizza and cuisine. Kudos to owner Marisa for her passion, dedication, and professionalism. I'll conclude with a shout-out to Francesco, the waiter, for his expertise and excellent cocktails. I recommend it to everyone.
