07/11/2025: The Tortora confetti factory is a gem in the town of Rossano Calabro. It's an artisanal business that has been offering the absolute best confetti for years. We also buy them as gifts in other regions; they're in high demand. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and the shop is a gem. Thank you!
02/08/2025: The shop is nice and clean. They have a lab where they make the sugared almonds. They sell the so-called second-choice or broken sugared almonds there. I bought half a kilo of second-choice sugared almonds, and when I got home from vacation, they were full of butterflies. The following year, I returned to the shop and told the owner about my ordeal. I was treated terribly, being told I was a liar after I explained the problem, especially since the lab doesn't issue receipts. They charge a bit dear for the sugared almonds, but without the butterflies, they're actually good.

What an exquisite view.
I spent a few days with my son and we had a fantastic time.
We are not fluent in Italian tet we communicated perfectly with Francesco and Michele the owners.

05/09/2025: Just a few meters from the Sangineto exit is this excellent home-cooked restaurant. This family-run business offers a fixed menu consisting of an appetizer, two small entrees, a first course, a second course, and dessert, which in our case was a panna cotta with fig honey. The fish served is truly top-quality, cooked in the simplest way possible to bring out the best in its flavor. I recommend this establishment to everyone; I was truly satisfied.

29/10/2025: Terrible service! Friendly waiters, but terrible organization (the owners' fault). Payment with the POS never works, invoice requests that they promptly say they'll do, but they never send!
05/07/2025: We made a reservation, but when we arrived, there were no chairs or a table available. After about 20 minutes of standing around, a member of staff informed us that they had to take our table away because they couldn't handle the situation due to staff shortages. A disappointing and unprofessional experience. If you can't guarantee service, you shouldn't accept reservations.

10/04/2025: I celebrated my graduation here last night and I can only say positive things. First of all, Gianmarco, the chef and owner, has golden hands. Everything he cooked was perfect, generous and truly delicious! I also have to thank and compliment the wait staff, who were impeccable, with exceptional precision and attention to detail, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Everything was perfect, I absolutely recommend it; you won't regret it!
