13/09/2025: After our walk in the Sila Giants Park, having worked up an appetite in the fresh air, my husband and I decided to have lunch. At the exit of the park, there was a restaurant with outdoor seating. The view around the restaurant was truly splendid, the nature enchanting. But unfortunately, our desire to have lunch there quickly faded. We couldn't find a table with a clean tablecloth to sit at. The chairs were also in terrible condition, and since I was wearing light-colored clothing, I didn't have the courage to sit. We limited ourselves to coffee (which, incidentally, was one of the most expensive I've ever had in Calabria). The atmosphere inside is a little better, but with such beautiful views around the restaurant, you'd want to sit on the terrace. Please pay more attention to cleanliness, and I'm sure customers will come in large numbers. Best regards.

16/08/2025: I found the restaurant very dirty and the service was not at all attentive. They don't greet you, ignore your questions, and are annoyed by the presence of other customers. The bathrooms are out of order. It's a shame because the location is attractive.

04/10/2025: The most expensive pizza by the slice in southern Italy. The person serving at the counter, who should be at least polite and kind, is instead incredibly rude. Many of my friends stop going there because of him. If someone were to ask a question... Highly not recommended!

31/05/2025: We asked for pizza with salami, and instead in the bag - pizza margherita ... 4 slices paid €20 ... instead of napkins - baking paper 🫣 But are we in Milan? At Corso Mazzini further on we got pizzas €2.50 per slice and above all with the requested flavor without having to wait

24/09/2025: I organized my wedding at this spectacular location. We had a civil ceremony and reception, and the experience was absolutely positive. Giuseppe, the owner and manager, was extremely helpful and friendly. He guided us step by step through the menu, the garden table arrangements, and the entire event organization. From the choice of decorations to the set-up (which made an already beautiful location truly enchanting) to the after-dinner entertainment. The food was truly superb; their chef is a surefire winner. One word: SPECTACULAR!

25/08/2025: Downsides: -- the waiters were downright unfriendly -- we waited for them to come to us for about half an hour -- the food arrived more than an hour after we ordered (just pizzas) -- they brought us chips that we didn't order -- not a single attempt at saying 'sorry for the food being late' -- to top it all off, when paying, they refused to show us the bill before we stated the mode of payment, and when we did, refused to split it between us according to what each one at the table had. Just outrageous & super unfriendly. To add insult to injury, the pizza was smallish & a disappointment. Three lonely anchovies on a Napoletana.... The worst experience in Italy in quite a few weeks, hands down

30/09/2025: The location on the Strait of Messina is beautiful, but the food and service are poor. The music is loud and the noise is annoying.

28/09/2025: 5 euros for two coffees (including a 2 euro service charge) seems too much, especially considering that the coffee is served in paper cups (not a great idea in a windy area...)

21/11/2025: The experience was not the best, we got some zeppole that were not fresh at all, the cream was hard and the taste was not good, especially the ginseng was not the best, I do not recommend it that much

10/10/2025: We just popped in to grab a drink at the bar, but we were clearly in the wrong place: they only serve "select" customers. When we asked if we could order at the bar, we were told "we're not Chinese." Kudos to you for the class and the welcome—a truly original way to make guests feel uncomfortable in ten seconds flat. If you're looking for a bar where you can have a drink with a smile... better keep looking!

04/10/2025: Poor and sad aperitif. 2 Aperol spritzes were colored water accompanied by a bowl of crisps and that's it, €15 and without a receipt, we definitely won't be back and I recommend hiring a real bartender who knows how to mix.

16/08/2025: THIS REVIEW IS A WARNING TO AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!!!!! We wanted to dine at the La Dune Biance restaurant in Bianco to celebrate my wife's birthday on August 15th. We originally wanted a drink and seafood pasta for around €20 to €25 max per person. The waiter told us that the menu was cheaper with an antipasti, a first course, and a second, without telling us the price; it wasn't on the menu. We trusted him and received as an antipasti a proof plate of a tiny salmon leaf, two small mussels, and a little squid, an anchovy, onions, and a tiny little puff pastry (see photo). We thought, "It's an aperitif, maybe the rest will be better." Unfortunately, the seafood pasta arrives in a poor dish with 2 frozen shrimps, a little vongole and squid which was supposed to be for one person, we are disappointed and after tasting, the dish was bad without any poor flavor of fish accompaniment. We call a waiter to ask to return the dish which was inedible, he is sorry and we ask him for explanations for this famous menu which tells us that it is 40€ per person ?? We do not want to continue eating in this restaurant and return the pasta dish for everyone, the waiter is sorry and guarantees to cancel the menus. Only arrived at the cash register the manager asks us 96€ for 3 beers and 1 coke and 4 antipasti which on the menu does not exceed 6€ per person, we are unhappy and ask to pay the fair price of our consumption, this one tells us to make a gesture and charges us 80€ by charging the antipasti 18€ per person??. We paid to avoid a scene and left with empty stomachs and empty wallets. We want to inform everyone and tourists about this bad experience that cost us a lot of money and ruined our birthday. This place is not an authentic restaurant but rather a scam with no professionalism in the kitchen and no gastronomic pleasure with frozen products and poor quality. Avoid and do not try.

16/08/2025: A terrible experience, one I won't repeat. They'll never see me again, one disappointment after another. We arrived and our reservation wasn't taken into account despite giving us two days' notice. After sitting down and waiting an hour for our order, the waiter informed us that the pizzas wouldn't be delivered for two hours—shameful! Furthermore, the restrooms were out of order, and we had to use a dirty bathroom outside. An experience I won't repeat!

16/08/2025: Terrible experience, terrible food, and price. Don't get ripped off! There were 8 of us. The pizzas looked like they'd been sitting for a couple of days, and the parmigiana were just (badly cooked) eggplant with oil and tomato sauce. If you want to eat at Castella, look elsewhere. The service lady lied and told us everything was dairy-free because she has a customer with an allergy, but the other dishes were the same. Our group's total bill for 3 parmigiana, 2 slices of pizza, 1 focaccia, 1 hotdog, and 3 waters was €28!!! Money wasted!

25/11/2025: A truly disappointing experience. They call themselves all-you-can-eat, but there's nothing unlimited about it. Most items have a limit on how many you can order, some even ridiculously so, like the jo, which, for two people, can be ordered up to six times (note: it's one piece per portion) because, according to them, "they're high quality." You can only order the spicy sauce once per person, otherwise they charge €0.50 each... and the quantity served is truly embarrassing. The other sauces? You have to pay for them straight away, without even a taste included. The menu lacks variety, and to make matters worse, the dishes arrived immediately after ordering and completely cold (like the grilled gyoza). This suggests they were already ready a while ago or, worse still, recycled from another table. The quality is just decent: the flavors are unremarkable. Most importantly: all these restrictions at DINNER! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 An "all you can eat" that seems like anything but an all you can eat. I don't recommend it.

10/11/2025: We didn't even have time to finish the last course before they took the plate away from us. I complained at the cashier, but the answer was "I don't know." 😂

10/09/2025: Terrible experience. I'm giving it one star because it's the only thing I can give less. Two spritzes for €8 each, and it was also awful, the prosecco was missing. Not even in Piazza San Marco in Venice, where they make it well, it's that expensive. The tables were dirty, and they didn't even bother to clean them. Avoid!
