06/08/2024: The establishment has changed its name, as you can see from the attached photos, it is now called "Borgo di Riaci Resort ****", and includes both the present structure, still called "Sunshine Beach Resort" on Maps, and the "Hotel Borgo di Riaci", which are located in the same property. This is not intended to be a review of the facility - I have not stayed there - but rather a heartfelt and hopefully justified appeal for a total boycott of it: don't frequent it! The reason is easy to say: the structure represents yet another case of building abuse and misappropriation of a public asset for private profit, and if the law has not yet come to sanction this conduct, let us take care of our ostracism to make it clear that certain things do not pay. We are in Riaci, one of the most beautiful beaches on the Costa degli Dei: the structure was created on the left side of the beach, in the portion of land between the cliff and the beach; and so far nothing wrong, even if allowing there to be private ownership of such a scenically significant portion of territory is already not the best, it would have been better to limit oneself to light structures under concession such as non-heavy beaches and not private structures such as a Resort. But the real problem is not this, rather the fact that to create the structure's garden, large stones were piled up on the beach which completely interrupt it for a stretch of at least twenty metres. And since the driveway accessing the beach is located on the right side of the beach, and the property is entirely fenced, it follows that access to the left side of the beach is precluded unless you climb the boulders or wade into the sea. Result? The left part of the beach has become, de facto, a private beach for the structure (which in fact has placed its umbrellas there). Now, however, in Italy the beaches are inalienable public goods (there are various laws and sentences that have reiterated this several times, a browse on the Internet is enough to find them). As everyone can imagine, the property then denies, with clearly visible signs, transit through the structure to reach the left side of the beach, aggravating the misappropriation of the public beach, covered for 20 meters by boulders, and precluded from free use for the other 200! I wonder what authority ever allowed (if it did) such a construction; and that something doesn't add up is already demonstrated by the gate of the structure, where the driveway sign... It's blatantly false! The name of the municipality that issued it and the details of the application are missing! I repeat, where the law arrives late, we arrive immediately with our ostracism: we do not support those who behave like this!

25/08/2024: Mangiato poco e male, pagato tanto. Pasta decisamente cruda e frittura salatissima. Molti piatti sul menù non erano disponibili. Attendiamo ancora l'acqua frizzante. Non tornerò più.

24/08/2024: Cosa dire? Servizio lento, poco professionale e poco attento. Cibo che non esalta i sapori del mare, pasta cruda e sentori di agrumi. Sconsiglio vivamente per cibo e servizio.

26/04/2025: Sono andata per Pasqua, location meravigliosa, camerieri gentilissimi, deludente il menù di stocco, buona la pastiera.

20/11/2024: Abbiamo visitato il ristorante per cena. Cibo scarso con micro porzioni. Qualità mediocre del pesce sia come primo che secondo. Locale sporco, sedie piene di briciole e macchie di sugo sulla tovaglia. Servizio pessimo. Ci hanno portato il conto mentre stavamo ancora finendo di mangiare e non lo avevamo nemmeno chiesto. Nel mentre gli altri commensali si stavano rimpinzando come se fossero ad un banchetto luculliano. Prezzo assurdo per un posto del genere che Spero venga inghiottito dalla prossima mareggiata. DA EVITARE

19/08/2024: 🔴ASSOLUTAMENTE DA EVITARE🔴 Piatti assolutamente non all'altezza dei prezzi praticati, qualità della materia prima scadente esattamente come la lavorazione per trasformarli in piatti finiti da proporre ai clienti. Abbiamo ordinato dei gamberi in tempura pessimi (innanzitutto non era tempura ma una pastella più complessa preparata con i corn flakes), troppo cotti, mollicci e sporchi poiché non puliti dell'intestino. 5€ al pezzo (ci aveva detto che erano gamberi rossi di mazzara mentre erano semplici gamberi categoria L4, massimo L3..) Pasta con l'astice: tagliolini senza alcun sapore di mare, un carapace vuoto con dei pezzetti di non so cosa all'interno ma soprattutto SENZA CHELA! Prezzo 28.00€ a piatto. Gestore del locale antipatico, arrogante.. sembrava quasi ci stesse facendo un favore a parlarci. Evitatelo fosse anche l'unico ristorante aperto dopo 3 giorni di digiuno.

04/12/2024: Ambiente familiare materia prima eccellente esecuzione dei piatti da 10 e lode molto bravo lo chef cosi come il maitre e un plauso a mamma Carmela padrona di casa eccezionale. Siamo stati benissimo.

12/10/2024: Siamo arrivati ,prima nota negativa un menù sfoglio di ogni cosa,mai visto un menù così, c'erano solo due antipasti crudo e cotto,tre portate di primi, i secondi non c'erano se nn i secondi piatti che ti consigliava la proprietaria .. Bene abbiamo mangiato l'antipasto cotto dove c'erano 6 assaggi.. la ricciola buona ma non era nemmeno una fetta completa.. Arriviamo al dolce un mega piatto con 3 profiteroles di conto. Infine la ciliegina sulla torta:andiamo a pagare e un amico ci offre il vino, la proprietaria intelligentemente non defalca il vino facendoci pagare la stessa somma. Grazie di tutto
