18/09/2025: I happened upon this place by chance and found a quiet, no-frills atmosphere. I ate a plate of home-made pasta and a "Sicilian" pizza. I was satisfied and I compliment the two young girls, one serving at the tables (kind and polite) and the other at the pizza oven (perfect cooking!!). Compliments to both of them.

05/09/2025: Everything was delicious, the location was lovely, the view over the Strait of Messina was stunning. Five stars, top-quality pizzas, we'll be back! 20 and not 5 stars

15/08/2025: Terrible experience... I hate to write this, but certain jobs are born with skill, or if you want to improvise, you have to put passion and LOVE for the consumer. I tried takeout, NEVER AGAIN... it's unthinkable to sell a "lasagna with sauce" without any condiments or flavor!!! Inside was basically half a slice of cooked ham... (what does ham have to do with lasagna?) without any sauce or meat. Thrown in the trash. Baked potatoes that looked like hospital potatoes... thrown away! Only the sausage was saved because it was produced by the butcher. An experience to FORGET.

24/09/2025: One of the best crepes I've ever had, full of Nutella! The coffee wasn't bad either. The gentleman making the crepes deserves all 5 stars. He was polite and incredibly calm! The only negative was the girl at the cash register; she almost seemed like she was doing us a favor by taking our money and giving us a note.

23/09/2025: A pleasant evening, attracted by the "artisanal granita" sign, we decide to try it. Friendly staff; traditional flavors with the addition of chocolate. Enjoyable, but nothing like artisanal, except for the €4.50 price tag.

19/08/2025: I visited this restaurant with a group of friends, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Two dishes from our order were completely forgotten and were only served after we pointed out the omission to the staff. Meanwhile, everyone else had already finished their food, and we found ourselves starting dinner after the rest of the table had already finished. This completely ruined the atmosphere of the evening. Such a lack of attention to service is unacceptable, especially in a place that should be at least minimally organized. We definitely won't be returning!

17/08/2025: Very disappointed. Almost an hour wait. Many mistakes with the order. No effort to rectify. Food in the end was mediocre. Again very disappointed

12/07/2025: The fries were disappointing overall. Many were soggy or dripping with oil. Additionally, there was very little ketchup, even though it was charged an extra €0.50 without us being informed of the surcharge beforehand. This simply wasn't justified for the price – overall, the whole thing was significantly overpriced for the quality offered. To make matters worse, I was charged €1 too much, which the seller didn't point out, even though we asked. Ultimately, we didn't like the taste of the fries so much that we threw them away. Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience.

15/10/2025: I've actually come here twice. For only 3 Euro and no coperto. The ice cream is fresh and delicious. Service is also very good.

18/08/2025: A nice and quiet café with expensive croissants and coffee. We came here for breakfast. The staff is friendly. We liked everything.

24/08/2025: My family and I were pleasantly surprised by this place. The pizza was truly delicious, and the Pan Pizza was sublime. Impeccable service and a warm welcome. I recommend it to anyone looking for value for money.

14/08/2025: A terrible experience from start to finish. We ordered a pasta dish and a meat dish: the wait was interminable, hours. Some people at the table didn't even receive their dishes. When the main courses finally arrived, the meat was so salty it was inedible. The house wine was awful, almost undrinkable. This place is definitely one to avoid. I would have given it 0 stars if I could. P.S. An outside fan wouldn't hurt.

21/04/2025: Basho is a true gem. Over the years, we've returned several times, never disappointed. We have, however, noticed a significant improvement. From the moment we walked in to the bill, every detail is attended to with a passion and professionalism that is clearly evident. The place is welcoming, with a refined atmosphere, but the real added value lies in the people. Special thanks to Mattia's impeccable management, who knows how to combine expertise and customer service in a rare way. It's clear how much he cares, and that truly makes the difference. Kudos also to Giovanni, professional, friendly, and attentive: his service was simply perfect, always present but never intrusive, with a courtesy that deserves to be highlighted. The menu is refined, with the freshest ingredients. We will return every time we return to Cosenza.

24/04/2025: Piadina con prosciutto cotto, invece del prosciutto crudo così come da ordine. Ordine arrivato con 20 min di ritardo. Rider sprovvisto di resto, a tal punto di aspettare altri 10 min, affinché lui andasse a prendere i soldi. Rider che non sapeva neanche che importo dovessi pagare.

05/08/2025: We tried this restaurant for the first time. The interior was beautiful, the staff was polite, and attentive. The fish dishes were well-cooked. I didn't give the food a 5 only because it was too salty, but it was still good. Recommended
