23/08/2025: The service was adequate, the maître d' was very kind and friendly, but the food, on the other hand, left much to be desired. The grilled meat was burned, and spending €35 for a dish that simply tasted burnt isn't ideal. The caramelized onion tasted too vinegary, the tuna (from the tuna with Tropea onions dish) tasted more like boiled than cooked, and the fried calamari was too tough. Furthermore, you could tell the oil it was fried in wasn't the best, probably having been used too many times. The prices were not in line with the quality of the food served.

19/08/2025: A shabby trattoria, where you eat in a plastic tent with dim lights. The staff is unsuitable for table service, rude and awkward. Meager dishes and exorbitant prices. I ordered paccheri allo scoglio and was served five cold paccheri. Not recommended! Unworthy of the name "fish trattoria."

29/09/2025: A very lovely place; I was there for a very intimate wedding reception. Aesthetically beautiful and rustic, large and surrounded by olive trees and countryside. Good food and very friendly staff. A little tricky to get to, on a dirt road, but you can get there by being careful with your GPS.

18/06/2025: I was there for my nephew's 18th birthday...beautiful location even if a bit neglected. Really good food but the staff is to be avoided at all costs. Especially the owner's sister. For this reason alone I wouldn't go back.

25/08/2025: I'm sorry, but I pay €3.50 for a beer at your place (instead of €1.20 at the market) ...to eat a hot pizza, not a cold one, especially since the pizzas you make when eaten cold are absolutely disgusting. The only way to eat them hot is to try to remember that, because you've lost another customer. Kind regards.

25/10/2025: The food is disgusting. They sell supermarket-style pre-pizza pizzas: inedible. The toasted pizza was fried; we had to throw it away. Only good for a snack.

01/09/2025: It's a shame to have to confirm, in one place, both triumph and fall, good and evil. On the one hand, I can only praise what still lingers on the palate: the softness of the filled leavened pastry, enveloped in a delicate yet flavorful custard, vanished in a flash, a victim of my unstoppable greed. Nor can I remain silent about the almond pastry, which, though I'd never loved it, in this case won me over to the point of igniting a secret and unexpected love. But on the other hand, alas, not the taste but the tone. The attitude of the person manning the counter seemed to tell us that our very existence was a nuisance: few smiles, little cordiality, and that subtle aura of impatience that ill-suits those who live on diners and vacationers. Let me be clear: I'm not asking you to sacrifice quality on the altar of service: the art of baking is too precious. But at least the humble gesture of a smile, a kind word, the knowledge that here aren't just customers, but souls seeking refreshment and memories of the sea. And so, while the custard still dances in my memories, the bitter thought remains that here, sugar abounds in every dessert, but it's not enough to sweeten the soul of those behind the counter.

25/08/2025: They didn't let us in because we were in our swimsuits (the shop is 100 meters from the beach) and the lady at the entrance was particularly rude

20/07/2025: Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo presso questo ristorante per pranzare nei pressi del lago Arvo, di domenica a luglio. La collocazione nei pressi del lago Arvo è perfetta, ma la folla della domenica a pranzo, unità ad un servizio al tavolo molto lento, in parte comprensibile ma non gradito (un' ora circa di attesa non dovrebbe essere consentita) ci hanno quasi spinti a lasciare il tavolo senza consumare. Buoni i primi piatti a base di ravioli con funghi porcini e tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale, niente di speciale il caciocavallo grigliato. Non negativo il rapporto qualità prezzo, nel complesso, macil ristorante è da frequentare, probabilmente, in periodi dell'anno meno affollati, se aperto. Speravo meglio.

12/07/2025: Arrivati a Lorica,si percorre una stradina in discesa e si raggiunge direttamente il Lago. Qui si trovano due ristoranti. A destra c'è La Terrazza che dispone anche di alcuni tavoli fuori ombreggiati .Si mangiano piatti locali,generosi nelle porzioni e gustosi. Il personale è gentile e premuroso,i prezzi sono concorrenziali. Attenzione a dove parcheggiate l' auto: i carabinieri di zona fanno regolarmente multe se lasciate l' auto " sull'erbetta" ,limitrofa alla stradina fronte Lago.E qui a pochi metri a destra dal ristorante c'è l' invitante ombra di un albero tentatore con alcuni posti disponibili ! Troppi hanno collezionato multe scegliendo questa opportunità. Sono stato testimone, durante il mio pranzo, di quanto racconto...

26/10/2025: First of all, I must say that the facility, the restaurant staff (Filomena, Francesca, Elisabetta, Saverio, Mario, and all the others), as well as the kind lady at the kiosk and her husband, etc., do an excellent job and are always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the prices are average. This review concerns only the very, very poor entertainment, especially the incompetent and miserable puppet gigolo. He has a rude attitude that is inappropriate for this facility. He openly insults guests and, under the guise of being funny, makes fun of everyone. In 40 years, I have never seen anything like it, especially not in Calabria. This person should be fired immediately and should not be paid for his squalid behavior. The other ladies and gentlemen in blue uniforms were rather soporific and neither entertained nor motivated. They spent more time at the pool than anywhere else. I would not have entrusted my children to any of these people. We would return, but only if there were a friendly and respectful staff again (such as in the summer of 2023 or 2024). Then we would be happy to upgrade our rating.

20/07/2025: Servizio al tavolo molto lento, all esterno eravamo solo due tavoli. Brioches TOP, Gelato buonissimo, uccide tutto il fatto che la brioches resta vuota perchè utilizzano delle micropalline (una per gusto), Distruggono cosi la qualita degli ingredienti non sapendo fare ne un cono gelato ne una brioches gelato (nel cono non mettono le palline). Capisco che è un di luogo di passaggio per turisti, ma per chi sa cos è un gelato come si deve, resta deluso! Se volete godervi l esperienza non andate oltre la coppetta.

17/07/2025: Durante la vacanza siamo stati due volte alla Marinella. Il gelato è favoloso così anche la brioche con il gelato. Anche il salato è buono (focaccia a trancio). Merita di andarci

One of our guests raised his hand to ask if there was table service, and the waitress looked at us, turned away with a disgusted expression, and yelled, "There's no table service." We were treated this way, so we decided to inform the owner, only to be treated arrogantly once again, except for one young man who embarrassedly apologized...
