21/10/2025: Terrible experience. The tomato on the dough looks like it was just thrown in, leaving empty areas and much more concentrated areas (so much so that you can't even tell the difference between empty areas and mozzarella). A chaotic appearance between tomato, mozzarella, bare dough, and that little bit, actually, of salami. The dough was rubbery, and the only discernible flavor was the spicy salami (equally wrong). If you were to buy pre-made pinsa from the supermarket, add tomato and mozzarella on top, and then pop it in the oven for 10 minutes, it would taste the same, if not better, than the one I ordered. That's also the problem: a pizza that tastes like pinsa.
I called personally to request a refund, and a person answered. I kindly explained the issue with the order, and he responded by saying, "We only have one type of salami that comes from X place" (the menu specifies SWEET salami, so obviously that's what you expect, right?). He then sarcastically objected to the request, responding, "Really, empty spots on the pizza?", "We can't do anything about it, the pizza was made correctly," "I don't have time to argue about these things," or "taste is subjective."
I'd like to point out that taste is NOT subjective if the only thing you can taste are those few pieces of salami. Furthermore, telling me it was a pointless discussion and that I could have specified it in the order notes is extremely ridiculous on the part of your restaurant. As a customer, I asked for a product ALREADY SPECIFIED on your own menu. The only salami you have can come from wherever you want, but if it says "sweet" on the menu, then it has to be sweet. Pointless discussion, huh? You act as if I have to settle for whatever comes because it seems like you're trying to turn it into, "Well, taste is subjective, if you don't like it, don't order it."
I've been ordering pans of pizza quite frequently for years, and this was the worst for a reason. First impressions count. When I saw it, I thought, "Well, maybe it's good." Too bad it was similar to the pizza dough you find at the supermarket. Or are we talking about the restaurant staff member who doesn't seem to know what's on the menu while trying to be right? The problem isn't even the pizza anymore, but the communication, but I guess there's a reason you have 3 stars.
I really appreciate that you paid for the shipping and that it was very fast, but you didn't confirm the order's arrival for almost 4 hours. It was out for delivery at 9:40 AM, and it arrived at 10:00-10:03 AM. Initially, I waited several minutes for you to confirm the arrival before filing a complaint, because YOU are the ones who are independent without a Deliveroo rider. At 11:15 AM, I contacted Deliveroo describing the problem, and they responded by saying I had to deal with you given your autonomy with orders. At 11:39, I called you, and the person at your restaurant tried to belittle me and convince me with a false narrative, saying that Deliveroo didn't want to accept the refund due to the ridiculous nature of the issue, trying to focus the issue solely on the salami, ignoring the other issues.
The person who answered the phone said, "It's automatic," unaware that an order's arrival will automatically close if too much time passes. The person replied, "Well, if you request it after two hours (it hadn't even been two hours), I won't be able to do much about it." I hope this is one of those rare cases where something isn't right while other orders are of better quality, because for my first order from you, it was depressing and terrible, both in terms of culinary quality and communication.
I'll leave you a fantastic photo of the product in question; I'll also add your sweet salami to the ingredients list for your products. If you only have one type of salami (according to the person on the call), specify that under each product containing salami. But then what notes should I have put if that's all you have?
20/08/2025: I have to say that, despite the negative reviews, we liked the pizza! It's thin but not overly so, and it's a matter of taste: not everyone likes super-thick pizzas. I recommend it, it's really very good 😊

14/10/2025: I've been back four times at different times and I must say I've always had a great time, from the sandwiches at the bar to the aperitifs to the seafood lunch served with a sea view. I've been coming since 2023 and I'm sorry to read negative reviews, but I've had only positive feedback, and what's more, I've even gone on the busiest days, e.g., August 15th.
04/10/2025: A seaside location perfect for events, but also for other formal occasions. The seafood appetizers are excellent, especially the raw fish (fantastic). The first courses are always fresh, though it's a shame about the monkfish served with paccheri; I would have cleaned it before serving. In any case, I understand that this was done to convey the freshness of the fish. Congratulations!

29/06/2025: If you are looking for a restaurant with a spectacular view, this is the place to be. Unfortunately, the magic ends there.
We showed up at the restaurant without a reservation, with the intention of enjoying an aperitif at sunset. The staff sat us at a table. Everything seemed to be going well until another member of staff approached our table with a confused and embarrassed expression. They explained to us, in a hesitant tone, that there had been a mistake and that our table was actually reserved. Their concern was obvious: they did not know how to handle the situation. They did not tell us to leave immediately, but the message was clear: as soon as the real people with reservations arrived, we would have to get up and leave the place.
This situation made us uncomfortable. Not only was the mistake theirs, but they unloaded the responsibility for a problem that they should have handled professionally on us.
For the rest of the time, we felt unsteady, ready to be "evicted" at any moment. The uncertainty and embarrassment completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing evening.
For us, the evening was ruined. The experience was humiliating and the treatment received was unacceptable, especially in a place that presents itself as being of a certain level. The view is not worth the arrogance and lack of professionalism of the staff. I strongly advise against this place to anyone looking not only for a beautiful view, but also a minimum of respect and courtesy.
26/04/2025: Disappointing, out of three pizzas ordered, two were wrong, of which the Margherita with buffalo mozzarella was marked as diavola so it also arrived very spicy.

18/08/2025: Terrible experience. Today I went there for a consultation regarding a pension fund release. As soon as I showed up, the consultant got annoyed because the product was tied to another post office, so I should have gone to the relevant office. Furthermore, the answers given to my questions were all imprecise and incorrect. I won't add anything else.
14/08/2025: largest post office in all of Italy, few slow and incompetent employees, they only handle 2 customers per hour

12/10/2025: Poor information on their part led to us ordering two sets of drinks. They then demanded we pay the extortionate prices for both sets. They can have their money. They can also have a bad review.
The view is great though - have a look, but avoid the bar!

16/08/2025: THIS REVIEW IS A WARNING: AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!
We wanted to have dinner at the La Dune Bianco restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday on August 15th. Initially, we wanted to order drinks and seafood pasta for around €20-€25 per person. The waiter told us the set menu was cheaper, including an antipasto, a first course, and a second course, without mentioning the price. This menu wasn't listed. We trusted him and received as an antipasto a tiny plate of salmon, two small mussels, a little bit of calamari, an anchovy, onions, and a tiny puff pastry (see photo). We thought it was just an appetizer; perhaps the rest of the meal would be better. Unfortunately, the seafood pasta arrived in a meager dish with two frozen shrimp, a little clam, and squid, which was clearly meant for one person. We were disappointed, and after tasting it, the dish was bad, completely tasteless, and the fish side dish was poor. We called a waiter over to ask him to send back the inedible dish. He apologized, and we asked him for an explanation about the supposedly €40 per person set menu. We refused to continue eating at this restaurant and sent the pasta dish back for everyone. The waiter apologized and promised to cancel the set menus. However, when we got to the register, the manager asked us for €96 for three beers, one Coke, and four antipasti, which on the menu were no more than €6 per person. We were unhappy and asked to pay the correct price for our food. He said he would make a gesture and charged us €80, charging €18 per person for the antipasti alone! We paid to avoid a scene and left with empty stomachs and empty wallets. We want to warn everyone, especially tourists, about this terrible experience that cost us dearly and ruined our birthday. This place is nothing like an authentic restaurant; it's a complete rip-off, offering no culinary professionalism or gastronomic pleasure, with frozen products of mediocre quality. Avoid it at all costs and don't even try it.
16/08/2025: A terrible experience, one I won't repeat. They'll never see me again, one disappointment after another. We arrived and our reservation wasn't taken into account despite giving us two days' notice. After sitting down and waiting an hour for our order, the waiter informed us that the pizzas wouldn't be delivered for two hours—shameful! Furthermore, the restrooms were out of order, and we had to use a dirty bathroom outside. An experience I won't repeat!

04/03/2026: A truly terrible experience. The service was poor from start to finish: the guy making the coffees was rude and unprofessional, and he didn't even respect the queue, creating confusion and discomfort among the customers.
The coffee was burnt and undrinkable, a sign of a lack of attention and care. Overall, everything was very disappointing.
Honestly, I'd be better off going to Cubo, the other university café: much better service and friendlier staff.
I won't be back.
06/10/2025: Terrible experience, I'll tell you mine. I go in to get a receipt as is customary here, I get a receipt for a coffee, I put the receipt on the counter (visible with the word "COFFEE"), the lady dares to snap her fingers and say "Good morning" while I was talking on the phone with headphones on to a family member. A word of advice, first of all, the coffee was burnt and I had to throw it away, secondly, learn to respect customers. Yes, I know it's hard for your minds to grasp that before being students, we are customers and we pay you. If you've never been taught respect, 20-year-olds should teach you that.

13/10/2025: Terrible experience! My only consolation is that I'm not the only one. I just saw the reviews, but they've been overwhelmingly negative for at least five years. How they manage to stay open remains a mystery.
I ordered two sandwiches, two arancini, and a can of coke for €37. The receipt only showed the total, so the individual prices were a bit of a guess.
The owner was gloomy, to say the least, and offered no explanation. The place has many outdoor tables, but don't you dare change the layout, it's "absolutely forbidden."
And don't be fooled by the message "bathroom out of order." They only allow customers to use it. I clearly heard the electric lock operated by the girl behind the counter.
If you can, avoid!
Luckily, not all Tropea residents are like this.

17/08/2025: Excellent supermarket, which I also frequent in Parma, but I must suggest turning up the air conditioning, because it was freezing this evening, and such a sudden temperature change is very risky. Other supermarkets in Soverato aren't as cold. I trust you can address this issue, which could be a deterrent for customers. I also suggest thoroughly cleaning the trash cans, which we found dirty, and we've already reported this to the cashier this evening. Thank you.

23/07/2025: Excellent bar with a deli open for lunch. Traditional Calabrian fare, but also excellent fish, seafood, and pasta dishes. The staff are courteous and professional, even offering personal advice.
