28/09/2025: Nice place, all seafood, mediocre appetizer, very long wait times, since it wasn't even full. They made us wait almost half an hour for an appetizer and another half an hour for a very poor main course.
The waiter and owner were rude, eating during service rather than paying attention to the customers.
We will never return.

25/10/2025: 1 star because it's not possible to give it 0. We waited 1.40 hours for a pizza that we didn't even eat, because in desperation we left at 10.40pm (we arrived at 9pm). Two of us had ordered a fried food, which arrived quite quickly, but it's unthinkable to let only part of the table eat while the others stand around and watch. Two pizzas are baked every 30 minutes. Get ready, because at this rate you won't get far. The bill was incredibly high, basically €75 for two fried foods with a side salad and two portions of chips. Highly not recommended.
06/10/2025: Mediocre food for Italy. The octopus on my pasta was anywhere to find. The muscles on the past were mostly closed and some tasted not good. Beer was warm. Service was good. View was amazing

15/11/2025: I found a hair in my fries, and the lady, quite rudely, not only didn't apologize, but didn't even take it off my bill, even pretending she didn't have change. The kebab was awful, and the staff was rude.
And to think I even went back a second time, just to give it another chance... but nothing: in both cases, only disappointment. Poorly maintained establishments, zero customer service, and no willingness to resolve issues that should be taken seriously.
I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
14/11/2025: It's always a pleasure to return to Dunya (and have been for years). Tasty, quality products, more than fair prices, friendly staff, a welcoming place, and reasonably quick service even when it's packed.

04/10/2025: Beautiful and suggestive place in Punta Pezzo, with a view of the Strait of Messina, very suggestive I had an equally good and exquisite ice cream brioche, served by the barista Giulia who filled me a mega brioche with ice cream and cream, I highly recommend coming to this ice cream shop!!!!
25/07/2025: Sadly not a Pizzeria, but really delicious light savoury snacks served warm. Nice Messina beer. And Fantastic!, Delicious ice creams.
Really good service from the people there, especially a helpful young male.
Not perfect English spoken, but far, far better than my attempts at Italian.

19/09/2025: We went to dinner at this restaurant on the recommendation of friends. The location is beautiful, with an enchanting view of Scilla.
We ordered exquisite fried fish and excellent mussels with pepper as an appetizer. The first courses were exceptional: DELICIOUS linguine with sea urchins, and delicious paccheri stuffed with ricotta and swordfish. We continued with stuffed swordfish rolls and a swordfish steak of the highest quality.
Excellent service, with unparalleled friendliness and kindness from the waiters.
Prices were reasonable.
Highly recommended! We'll be back!

This is already the second place on this street that doesn't have toilet paper (or a toilet seat)—it seems like it's not intended. The restroom was dirty. The restroom is for customers only—which shows how much this place values its customers.

08/10/2025: A charming B&B, from the sea-view room to the outdoor spaces. Impeccable cleanliness and maid service. Super large and spacious bathroom and shower. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast room with windows surrounded by greenery and breakfast with all branded products. Convenient on-site parking and car charging. Congratulations, I'll be back!
