06/05/2026: I had the pleasure of having lunch on May 1st at Caputi's grill and butcher shop (the winter location in Toritto) and the experience was truly excellent. The location is elegant and meticulously maintained.
The staff stands out for their kindness, courtesy, and professionalism: always attentive to the customer's needs and ready to recommend the best cuts of meat and appetizers, demonstrating expertise and passion for their work.
The quality of the meat is truly superior, cooked to perfection and enhanced by an excellent selection of wines, perfectly pairing each course. The desserts also deserve a special mention: delicious and beautifully presented, they are the perfect end to an impeccable meal.
In short, everything was truly excellent. I highly recommend this place and will gladly return!

Dinner on May 30, 2026. Not worth returning. P.S. Check out the color of the meat at the butcher's counter...

04/05/2026: A top place to celebrate anniversaries. We agreed on a dream menu and ate until we burst, at a very reasonable price.
I also really appreciated the setup for the cake photos.
24/04/2026: A great place for meat lovers. The setting is simple, but I wasn't there for the decor. Not knowing what to order, I went for the €25 set menu (drinks included) to try several dishes. It was enormous for one evening. I couldn't even finish the last plates. Everything was delicious from start to finish. The homemade limoncello is also very good. Thank you for the attentive and friendly service.

05/07/2026: I often buy the owner's sandwich, and it's never disappointed me. I usually buy takeout. The staff is very friendly, and the wait is based on the number you get at the door. You don't have to wait in line, just wait to be called.

07/07/2026: Unpleasant, slow, haughty, and mocking service (especially if you don't speak Italian). Bland and simplistic salmon salad, overpriced for what it was. Overcooked rabbit. A very bad experience.

15/05/2026: A place I highly recommend for everything. The owner is friendly and very helpful. I always visit this corner of paradise whenever I can. Poggiorsini, despite its small size, offers many natural recreation opportunities, in addition to being a beautiful village. Kudos also go to the municipal administration, which has successfully revitalized the area.
15/04/2026: A very charming little restaurant, located in a small village square with a wonderful view.
We stumbled upon it by chance on Easter Monday, looking for a last-minute lunch option, and we couldn't have been luckier.
Excellent traditional dishes and many very friendly young waiters.
We'll be back.

10/06/2026: I went with my daughter without reading any reviews too closely. We didn’t know what to expect and we were both a bit alarmed when a succession of various cuts of meat started to arrive. The quality was exceptional and Michele was very welcoming and highly personable. I was a bit sceptical about red wine served cold, but it worked. We ended up taking quite a lot home, but it was not wasted. Great value for money. Will definitely go back next time we’re in Acquaviva!

But be prepared to be guided along a predetermined path by owner Michele, who manages everything from the wine to the meat. He offers a tourist menu for everyone, where meat reigns supreme in a variety of ways, including scaloppine.
You sit down and eat without any options; anything you don't eat is wrapped up and taken home.

29/06/2026: For years, Rubio's has been a true culinary institution in Corato, a go-to spot for friends and family who want excellent-quality, well-filled meat sandwiches, as well as other meat dishes.
When I'm away from Corato, I miss Rubio's sandwiches so much!
14/02/2026: Small grill restaurant, efficient and very friendly staff. The €20 menu (drinks not included) includes a carpaccio appetizer, a charcuterie and cheese platter, and an excellent focaccia. The mixed grill was very good and plentiful. We'll definitely be back.

01/06/2026: The quality of the grilled meat was mediocre, the club sandwiches were dry and the bread was too thick, and the baked potatoes were made too long ago and reheated, which quickly went cold on the plate. I don't understand the decision to serve the sandwiches in the plastic baskets usually used for serving bread, especially since the paper on the bottom soaks up liquid, making it uncomfortable and truly unsightly. We asked for the burger to be rare, but it arrived overcooked and therefore dry. All the dishes were too fatty and greasy.
Definitely a place I wouldn't recommend.
04/05/2026: I was truly impressed by the Oktoberfest! I found the quality-price ratio to be incredible: a delicious cut of meat for only 15 euros, truly hard to find anywhere else.
The service was excellent, the staff was fast and helpful, and, unsurprisingly, we ate right away without much of a wait.
A super positive experience, I'll definitely be back!

02/03/2026: Sunday lunch with friends, what can I say, poor. The appetizers were one dish for every two people: two tiny pieces of sausage, two microscopic mushrooms, two very thin sheets of pecorino, a tiny ricotta, etc., etc.
We asked for more cheese, and they brought a different type. The drizzle of oil was very poor quality.
The first course, with turnip tops, was good.
The dessert, cheesecake, was definitely packaged.
When we finished, I was still hungry. We paid €40, but for the same amount, we've eaten much more elsewhere and not been too cheap.
Never again... highly discouraged.
15/02/2026: Sunday lunch, a lovely traditional restaurant, a bit small but welcoming and well-decorated. Homemade cuisine with excellent flavors and pairings. We opted for the set menu with a first course, which was truly complete and delicious, a choice of 6-8 appetizers, a first course, a second course, a side dish, dessert, and drinks. The Aglianico del Vulture wine from Cantina di Venosa Top was very good.
The staff were kind and friendly, very professional. We'll definitely return, especially to enjoy the pizzeria.
