20/02/2024: Excellent place, very friendly and helpful staff, not very crowded on Fridays but reservations for Saturday and Sunday are highly recommended, excellent quality meat and pizza as well as an excellent selection of wines.

27/01/2024: Caro Griglio, sono davvero dispiaciuto di questa recensione ma credo sia doverosa. Siamo stati da te questa sera, in quattro; abbiamo ordinato i nostri piatti preferiti, lo facciamo ormai da dieci anni circa. Vero è che abbiamo scelto il primo turno ed eravamo consapevoli di dover lasciare il tavolo alle 21 ma mai ci saremmo aspettati un trattamento simile. Siamo stati letteralmente cacciati dal locale in malo modo dal personale che, con fare tutt’altro che discreto ed educato, ci ha chiesto di lasciare immediatamente il tavolo, costringendosi addirittura ad abbandonare i bicchieri semipieni ed a portarci via la 3’ bottiglia di vino, quasi terminata, tra gli sguardi allibiti dei vicini di tavolo. Conclusione: abbiamo lasciato il tavolo di corsa e, nonostante i tempi tecnici di pagamento e l’attesa in cassa, siamo usciti dal locale alle 20:57. Un vero peccato! Che brutto ricordo mi porterò dietro per un locale che, a malincuore, non mi avrà più come cliente.

19/02/2024: Promoted service, kind and friendly waitress. Spaghetti with clams soaked in oil, they seemed reheated, barely edible. Tried frying, the fish was not fresh and was very tough. Maybe I had the wrong day.

29/03/2024: Recommended by a friend and probably one of the best restaurants I’ve had the pleasure to visit. Tucked away on the edge of town and looking like the sort of place you would swerve, it really is an absolute must if you find yourself in Sauze d’Oulx. So good that we actually went twice whilst there for 5 nights! A very friendly and welcoming restaurant which specialises in both meat and fish. You have to ask for a table downstairs where the chef expertly chops away at a huge piece of beef before cooking on the open grill. The steak and fish were cooked to perfection and the lobster spaghetti was incredible, so much so that we ordered both times. The deserts were also some of the best over our trip. This is an absolute must try but make sure you book in advance and incredible value!!

09/02/2024: Locale molto caratteristico e piacevole. Carne indubbiamente buona ma per la cifra spesa non all'alternanza delle aspettative. Quello che però più infastidisce è che non hai possibilità di scelta alcuna, sei obbligato a prendere quello che è il menù imposto senza apportare nessun tipo di modifiche. Insomma, che ti piaccia o meno, quello che è previsto di antipasto e contorno devi fartelo andare bene. Per esempio noi abbiamo speso 45€ per un menù completo di cui abbiamo mangiato solo il piatto di carne. Carta dei vini inesistente...scelte comunicate a voce senza un dettaglio dei costi. Per concludere, zero attenzione per i bambini; non hanno la possibilità di un menù apposito. O mangiano carne alla griglia o devo prendere una scelta tra i primi IMPOSTI nella speranza siano di loro gradimento. Personale, riconfermo altre recensioni, non particolarmente simpatico e disponibile.

09/03/2024: Niente da dire su servizio e cibo di bifro. Il locale è ben curato e ha un aspetto moderno ed elegante. Il servizio è attento, carino l’entree di benvenuto. Il personale è disponibile e consiglia nella scelta delle carni. Le alternative in menù comprendono antipasti -verdure o carne- contorni e naturalmente varie tipologie di carne. I prezzi sono elevati, per tutto. Sicuramente la qualità si paga, ma ho trovato un prezzo davvero cospicuo su tutti i piatti, dagli antipasti ai dessert. In due si paga davvero oltre quanto preventivato, probabilmente ci siamo lasciati guidare un po’ troppo. Tuttavia la qualità è alta e bisogna andare in questo locale con lo spirito di una cena sicuramente cara, ma davvero di qualità!

03/05/2024: The service was very very slow, we had to wait over two hours to receive cold cooked vegetables. The place is nice, but the service and food are not at all sufficient. Unqualified and reduced staff.

21/03/2024: Unfortunately the place is getting worse and worse. First, the sandwich included some delicious chips. Then they changed them, subsequently the side dish was excluded from the sandwich and you pay separately. The sandwiches often arrive cold on the outside, they just warm up the meat. And finally, for each table you are entitled to only one portion of Nachos, the second one you now have to pay for.
