16/11/2024: Roberto was very nice and took good care of us. The rooms were very nice and clean! The location is great if you come from the bike path. The breakfast was phenomenal. We felt very welcome in Chiusaforte and we would love to come back!

05/11/2024: Probably the best and friendliest host in Friuli. Everything was great, very friendly host, top food. We and our dog Einstein have always been warmly welcomed, several times a year! Great breakfast, nice rooms, we'll always come back! Own bike garage!

02/01/2025: Tuscany where you don't expect it!!! I highly recommend it. A cuisine that is remembered because it is unique. It can't be described... it has to be experienced. The host manages to surprise and satisfy even sophisticated palates.

The products are of the highest quality and you feel, like the wines, part of a highly respectable cellar, where the palate relaxes. The host is always a guarantee for preparation, storytelling, wine recommendations and ready jokes. The Tuscan enclave in FVG is an experience worth every occasion. A restaurant whose experience should definitely be shared. The never tight times allow discussions to flow, interspersed with each dish. The price is worth the raw material and the experience.

15/11/2024: Serata fantastica, il locale si presenta molto bene, luci soffuse, carne prelibata che ti viene cotta in diretta sulla griglia all'interno della sala, il personale è molto simpatico e cordiale, il titolare molto preparato sui vini. Da tornare

26/12/2024: I love this restaurant. Magical atmosphere in a rustic but very elegant setting. You can breathe history, tradition, the warmth of a family management that leaves nothing to chance, but takes care of every little detail. The antique furniture, the copper hanging as per the Friulian tradition, the octagonal hearth in the center of the main room, tell the long history of this restaurant that I love to choose for important occasions (birthdays and family celebrations), but also for dinners with friends /friends. The cuisine is superb. The very kind owners, in particular Mrs. Sandra, all the attentive but discreet staff. Score 10 cum laude

16/12/2024: Abito in provincia di Ravenna, ho avuto varie occasioni diversi anni fa di pranzare e cenare qui e mi sono sempre trovata benissimo. Sono tornata sabato sera ed è stato tutto perfetto nonostante il locale fosse molto pieno. Ho ritrovato la gentilezza e la professionalità che ricordavo. Efficientissimi !!! Abbiamo ordinato subito e senza rendercene conto avevamo i nostri piatti davanti. Bello l’impiattamento e ottimo ciò che abbiamo mangiato , dai tagliolini al San Daniele , il brasato con il purè , il frico con polenta e un altro secondo con polenta di cui non ricordo il nome. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Se avrò occasione tornerò sicuramente!!!

15/01/2025: Perfect grilled meat; a permanent presence on the menu of grilled liver, almost impossible to find in other places. Attentive and warm service, the room with the welcoming fireplace, the second room less so.

14/01/2025: 2 feste di compleanno in una sera. Non me la prendo con i bambini ma con i genitori sfigati 🤷 hanno creato una fila di 2 ore. Sono chiusi gli oratori? Imbarazzante. Quello che è peggio è la mancanza di controllo dei bambini oltretutto maleducati.. non comment la scena di spintoni verso una coppia di anziani con la scusa di giocare

03/01/2025: Another activity to cross off the navigator: Old Wild West has shrunk the sandwiches, I took a Dakota and another with Chianina and they are as big as those at McDonald's, an absolute sadness. Another place, for me, to avoid. Sin. Going out and still being hungry after 2 sandwiches is sad! From this I will also change cinema!

29/12/2024: Excellent restaurant. Rustic location in a typical Friulian farmhouse in the Pagnacco area, about 10 minutes from the center of Udine, ample internal parking, several fairly large rooms, kind and friendly staff. On the menu I really liked the typical Friulian frico, good cheeses and cold cuts. For starters, order the typical tagliatelle with wine, for meat, order a good cut. For a slightly limited gluten-free option, we were missing bread and breadsticks, and unfortunately no dessert. Excellent wine list, I enjoyed a Cabernet Franc from a Gorizia winery. For dessert, sorbet is good. For distillate I wanted to try a typical wine bitter from Friuli but it was out of stock. Average prices, the only note is that on their official website they report a menu with reduced prices not updated to those present in the room, to be updated for transparency. I recommend it in general.

12/01/2025: Sono stato in questo locale per mangiare con gli amici ma devo dire che è stata la prima e ultima volta ,locale freddo , cibo per qualità prezzo non soddisfacente,e personale poco competente. I piatti sono arrivati dopo quasi un ora, i dolci metà se li sono dimenticati . E per finire abbiamo chiesto se era possibile fare conti separati ,inizialmente è stato negato poi ci ha combinato ma ha fatto un disastro segnando cose in più.La cosa bella è che la stessa persona che ha battuto i scontrini quando eravamo al tavolo ci aveva promesso gli amari per farsi perdonare per l’attesa (mai offerti poi)e poi in cassa fa il fenomeno non segnando un piatto dicendo che ce lo offre lui , ma riguardano i scontrini ci siamo accorti che c’era piatti segnati in più torniamo dentro per una spiegazione e ci dice ecco il piatto offerto e come se l’avete pagato. Ok ciao e grazie .Io sconsiglio vivamente

11/01/2025: After not going there for some time due to previous disappointments, we decide to return to try again. The place is always nice as is the service. Unfortunately, the food continued its descent towards bartering: really small sandwiches, practically a few more than Mc Donald's or Burger King, far from what you see on the menu (keep one and see when your plate arrives), dried onion rings, meat to sugar. All at very unjustifiable prices and yet another heaviness in the stomach for everyone. Too bad, never again.

07/01/2025: Characteristic place, always full, divided into various rooms. Excellent tasty and varied menu, takeaway is possible. Friendly and helpful staff. Ample parking, places reserved for disabled people. I recommend booking in advance.
