Near Mount Matajur there are no other places to eat, only the refuge but it is closed, it is not known when it opens.

Bisogna decidere di andarci, non ci si passa vicino…ma ne vale la pena. Pranzo a prezzo fisso (moderato) per menù a tema “invito nelle valli” con i sapori del luogo e dell’autunno, ben amalgamati ed anche con note moderne specie nella presentazione. Molte portate ed anche abbondanti. Note negative, lunghe attese fra una portata e l’altra ( ma il locale era pieno) e vino, buono, ma solo della casa. Il frico con funghi sublime! E fuori sentieri, verde, natura con castagne e funghi per passeggiare e digerire

24/03/2024: I review this place, especially for those who criticize the bill. If you know the raw materials, the cellars proposed in the wine list, the quantity and quality of the desserts and side dishes and last but not least the enormous basket of bread, taralli etc... You cannot say that the prices are disproportionate. If you want to eat and drink with superior quality you have to pay the right amount, otherwise if you want to save money, you cook at home or go to a farmhouse (where I also go, but I'm happy with the frico and the house wine).
10/03/2024: Impeccable lunch, nice and attentive service! Excellent venue, wines and meat in a welcoming and relaxing environment.
