02/03/2026: The sandwich was made from scratch, if not worse. Flavorless, the meat dry and almost burned. Almost no sauce. It was assembled in a way that a bricklayer with a trowel would have done better. Fries full of black spots. The atmosphere was disastrous, all the booths broken, tables dirty. Come on, a little respect, if not for the customers, at least for the food. Total disappointment.

20/03/2026: The thing that pisses me off the most is that more than once they've put less items in my takeout bag. And then the staff is very slow and chatters too much. They're not focused on their work.

15/03/2026: We went to eat here a few days ago, but unfortunately the experience wasn't what we remembered. We think the place has changed a lot compared to before, and not for the better. The prices have gotten quite high: for example, around 9 euros for a sandwich without even fries, whereas before the value for money was much better. Another thing we didn't like was the service. The food arrived slowly: some people at the table had already finished their sandwiches while others were still waiting for theirs. This is quite unpleasant when you're eating together. It's a shame, because it used to be a place we loved returning to. We hope they can improve and get back to the same level as before.

It's a moment to go from being a regular customer to considering never ordering from us again when the experience is this disastrous. A two-and-a-half-hour wait for delivery of a sandwich ordered via the app. Not a dinner for ten people, not a complicated order: a simple sandwich. Meanwhile, no communication, no meaningful updates, just an endless wait that turns hunger into frustration. When ordering via the app, a minimum wait is acceptable, but two and a half hours is simply unacceptable. If you can't manage orders, simply temporarily close deliveries instead of leaving customers hanging all evening. It's a shame, because as a loyal customer, I expected a whole different level of service. After an experience like that, I honestly wouldn't go back there even if everything was free.

07/03/2026: Horrible experience. Today, when I paid for two coffees, the vending machine gave me partial change. I asked for clarification and was denied any assistance. Moral of the story: two coffees for €5. I absolutely do not recommend! And be careful with your change; the machine doesn't give it back, and neither does the manager.

18/04/2026: Unfortunately, the prices displayed outside don't always match those listed in the "promotions" inside. Needing to eat meat cooked differently, we ordered the "tagliata" for €20 and asked for it to be served on a griddle, to allow for different cooking methods. The meat (6 semi-burnt pieces) was brought to us directly on the griddle, with arugula and cooked tomatoes... I pointed out that this wasn't the right way to present the dish, and that arugula and cooked tomatoes weren't ideal for accompanying the tagliata. In a hurry to leave, I separated the meat from the arugula and tomatoes from the griddle... I ate the small amount of charred meat, leaving the rest, pointing out again that they should have brought the sauce separately (and I had to specifically request the glaze later). After numerous apologies from the manager, at checkout I again disputed the dish... but it was charged in full... and not even an apology coffee was offered. A mistake made due to inexperience in the presentation of a dish, while serious in a restaurant with such prices, can happen... but I was truly surprised that the owner didn't even try to remedy the situation, despite verbal apologies. A negative review is in order, in the hope that we learn to better deal with unexpected events in the future. P.S. I hope the owner eats cooked arugula every day...

18/04/2026: This evening we had dinner at the Santa Caterina restaurant. We had an interminable wait for raw or burned pizzas, made worse by the fact that the completely raw one was served to a two-year-old girl. When I told the waitress how disgusting it was, she responded in the Bari dialect, "Well, I'll tell them, they don't do anything." Needless to say, it was my first and last time at this place.

08/04/2026: I saw a review by Samira and I think my problem was with the same person, a woman with graying hair and a medium build. On Easter Monday morning, I stopped for breakfast. I usually place my order on the screen or directly at the cash register. I went to do it at the cash register and this rude person answered me without even replying to my "Good morning" and without a smile. I'm a poor Critas employee. GO TO THE SCREEN!! If your employees are forced to come to work, in my opinion, they should stay home and make room for younger people who need to work. This rude person doesn't understand that there are thousands of bars around that care more about the customers who come in to start the day with a smile, not just for a coffee or croissant. After this taste, I immediately went to another bar instead of SCREEN. Note: This isn't the first time.... Once, she delivered my drinks (Sprit) without carbonation; it was just water and sugar, and I realized after I got home....

15/09/2025: Super Angelo, always available!!! Highly recommended... excellent burgers and excellent beer in a casual atmosphere nestled in a sports complex (arena and soccer/rugby fields).

The appetizers are good, but perhaps the portions could be improved, considering the prices. A nice place for a quiet evening with friends or as a couple. The service is okay.

26/04/2025: Honestly, it's a rather disappointing place. It presents itself as an excellent place with fried foods and ingredients that are not only local and local, but also high-quality. But after eating there, I had to change my mind. Aside from the enormous number of dishes on the menu that are unavailable (at 1 pm, you can't have more than three dishes available), paying 9 euros for a sandwich with a lettuce leaf, a slice of ham, and 7 slices of sweet mustard (almost revolting, it was so sweet) along with 7 euros for two fries is, I think, bordering on a rip-off. To give them a point, some dishes were truly incredible, like the fried fish and salted caramel ice cream, but far too many dishes didn't live up to the price, especially the quantity, which was so meager it was almost like a gourmet restaurant. I won't say anything about the sweet salami, which was truly shameful (5 cm of salami with a half-centimeter diameter, warm and buttery, all for 5 euros). Almost poor but with a lot of room for improvement. I recommend reviewing the portions and proportions of the ingredients in the dishes as their quality is very high, but poorly used.
