02/03/2026: A truly welcoming traditional osteria, conveniently located just steps from Castelvecchio, in the heart of Verona. We went for dinner after a late lunch, so we decided to order just three different first courses, just to sample them. We chose: pappardelle with duck ragù, cod tortelli, and tagliolini with rabbit offal. A perfect choice: authentic dishes, well-cooked, and generous portions. A truly positive note also goes to the staff, who were extremely kind and professional: at checkout, without even asking, they gave us a discount, a gesture we greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this osteria, especially if you're looking for authentic Veronese cuisine in a central location.

08/03/2026: Based on the reviews, we had very high expectations, but we were all disappointed. The ingredients were certainly good, but some dishes were bland and very poor for the price. The service was quite attentive, although with a few flaws. The location was nothing special; it was also a bit cold, and given the height of the place, the bathrooms could use some updating.

27/10/2025: After having already stopped here several times on vacation in 2024, we couldn't resist spending an evening here again in 2025. In our opinion, it's the best pizza in Peschiera, with friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere.

12/10/2025: After reading reviews we were 50/50 about going. Couldn't have been better. Service was fantastic, staff happy to help finding the right beer with tasters and made sure we were all happy with what we were drinking. Food was great, pizza for myself was delicious, wife's pasta was amazing and sons chicken and chips absolutely hit the spot. If you are reading reviews like I did earlier and are unsure then please don't believe the negative reviews and go and eat here you will not be disappointed!!

20/02/2026: Simply extraordinary. Superior quality fish, impeccable freshness, and flawless technique. Each dish showcases the raw ingredients with elegance and precision, without ever obscuring their identity. Attentive service, refined atmosphere, a fine dining experience. One of the best seafood restaurants I've ever tried. Absolutely unmissable.

15/02/2026: Excellent restaurant with attentive and professional service. They pay attention to the quality of the fish. A wide selection of wines and spirits. I tasted an elegant, fruity Nikka Pure Malt Red, relatively rare and hard to find due to the shortages that have affected many Japanese producers. Then the owner had me taste his gin, a fitting end to the meal.

14/03/2026: Thank you for great service and tasty fish dishes. Everything was explained about ingredients. Was very cosy to sit inside behind the glass during the rain. We had salmon, fried sea food mix, risotto, different salads, perch, drinks, cocktails, coffees. Coated around 130 EUR for 5 people. There were not many people when we came but later nearly all tables were occupied even if it is not a season yet.

05/04/2026: Disappointment, a wonderful place I've been frequenting for years, enjoying blissful experiences in the Veneto, until the day they charged me €2 for two glasses of tap water. I'm sorry, everything was working, but they lapsed on one important detail. And don't give me the usual alcoholic rhetoric about not drinking water; I hydrate myself to ensure longevity when drinking.

05/04/2026: Absolutely nothing to complain about. Unique location, competent and attentive waiter, excellent wines, everything very good, especially the sea bream and tench risotto. Obviously, the prices are in line with the (a lot) ordered, including the caviar, but the wines are certainly affordable too. The portions are generous, too. Nearby tables ordered salt-crusted fish, which looked delicious. I'll definitely be back. Note: Out of curiosity, I looked for those who gave it one star... people who hadn't booked and are complaining about the seating in front of the restrooms. I should point out that the spotlessly clean restrooms are behind a screen and a plant, but the lady framed it so it couldn't be seen, otherwise the complaint wouldn't have been valid. There are truly frustrated people out there...

10/10/2025: Excellent little bar. we discovered this bar in 2023 we were served by Leo, lovely friendly polite young guy, we returned this year and he recognised us straight away which is so nice after two years!! Loved sitting people watching here. Very relaxed atmosphere and brilliant drink options!! Will definitely be back on our next trip to malcesine 🥂🍻🥃🍹 thank you Gabriele and Leo 🙂

06/04/2026: This restaurant is big a scaaaam. Was here on a leisurely dinner. I wanted to order the fish. It is 20euros on the menu. The guy said ohh, today’s catch is, bigger why don’t you share it between 2 person. So how much do you think they charged us? Maybe 2*20=40€. Wrong according to the great Italien mathematics, 60€ without any explanation.We’ve learned it not bevor ordering but when checking the bill. We asked our waiter about it, he couldn’t give us an answer. So don’t go there. It rather spend 60 euros on fishing Gear and get that thing myself. At least the prices there are transparent and I know how much to expect beforehand.

14/12/2025: Well, the food was pretty good, worth it, and the atmosphere was nice, except for the slight sewer smell at the back of the room. The owner, who was working the register, was very rude. We went to eat with some friends and asked how much we should pay per couple. He snorted, and didn't include delivery charges, as it was peak hour, even though there was no one behind us. Anyway, I don't think we'll go again. It seems like he doesn't care if he loses customers; he'll be too rich.

05/04/2026: The sea bass was very good, the food arrived very quickly, and they even offered us limoncello. The staff was generous and kind; they even lit a mushroom for us next to the table during service, without making us feel burdened; in fact, you could tell they wanted to make us feel comfortable. Congratulations

30/10/2025: We discovered this hidden gem in the fall, before the owners went on their well-deserved vacation. From grandparents to children, everyone was very happy with their delicious food. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, and there was a lot of laughter. We'd love to come back to enjoy the magnificent view of the lake again, although it was unfortunately already too dark for that.

24/09/2025: A terrace with a stunning view of the lake. The food, however, is mediocre. The service was terrible. We had a table in the second row with extremely uncomfortable chairs (on the terrace, only the first row and one other table in the second row next to ours were occupied; the rest were empty). When a table in the first row became available, we asked if we could move. The waitress said that she would have to reset the table (the drinks had just been served, so only two water and two wine glasses needed to be replaced), and therefore the coperto would have to be charged twice.
