A very nice restaurant, exactly the kind of place Italians themselves would go to. Very friendly and welcoming service, excellent staff, very good food, and a lovely ambiance that we hadn't expected from the outside. The Arena is just a 7-minute walk away. Reasonable prices and a great selection of dishes; the house wine is superb. Everything was perfect, and we felt very comfortable.

It was great to experience local Verona-style cuisine and enjoy it paired with a house wine. While many restaurants in Italy are run entirely by foreigners, this place felt like a Verona local serving Verona-style dishes.

We dined at Osteria Il Ciottolo and were truly thrilled with the experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great kindness and courtesy: the waiters were always smiling, helpful, and attentive, making us feel right at home.
We enjoyed a truly excellent Amarone risotto, creamy and rich in flavor. For dessert, we followed the owner's advice and chose the sbrisolona semifreddo: a real surprise, simply delicious!
A restaurant that combines excellent cuisine, a welcoming atmosphere, and impeccable service. Kudos to the entire staff; we'll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who wants to savor authentic Veronese cuisine.

We stopped by this typical osteria for lunch and had a great time.
We ordered a mixed appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, all excellent quality, followed by bigoli with horse meat pastisada and pappardelle with duck sauce, both traditional and delicious! For the main course, rabbit with polenta and horse meat tartare, both delicious
as well. The staff is friendly and very helpful, highly recommended!

We had lunch and the experience was truly excellent! A special compliment to the service: the staff were extremely kind, attentive, and professional, always smiling.
The food was truly excellent, with carefully prepared, plentiful, and flavorful dishes.
The excellent value for money is also noteworthy: spending a fair amount for such quality is always a pleasure.
Congratulations to all the staff for the passion and attention you put into your work. We will definitely be back when we're in Verona again!

Exceptional! Beautiful atmosphere, excellent food and wine (including carafes!)! Super friendly and professional staff. I'm sorry I didn't take photos, but I was only thinking about the food. The cheese board is highly recommended. Book ahead!
