We ate well and abundantly. Dinner for four included two platters of delicious cheeses, two risottos with Amarone, tagliolini with rabbit, and the braised beef. All with excellent wine by the glass. €30 per person, truly excellent value. I must add the kindness and friendliness of the staff; we felt welcomed, even our dog, who received exceptional attention. Keep up the good work!!

Osteria Il Ciottolo is a lovely Italian spot in Verona with great food, attentive service, and a warm atmosphere. The dishes are flavorful and well prepared, and the whole experience feels welcoming and authentic. Make sure you make a reservation prior to your visit as the afternoon can be quite busy.

For dinner, an excellent risotto with Amarone, well-cooked and plentiful. A braised meat for the main course, also with Amarone, was delicious.
The staff were very courteous and always available to help. I highly recommend trying this excellent osteria.

A truly welcoming traditional osteria, conveniently located just steps from Castelvecchio, in the heart of Verona.
We went for dinner after a late lunch, so we decided to order just three different first courses, just to sample them.
We chose:
pappardelle with duck ragù, cod tortelli, and
tagliolini with rabbit offal.
A perfect choice: authentic dishes, well-cooked, and generous portions.
A truly positive note also goes to the staff, who were extremely kind and professional: at checkout, without even asking, they gave us a discount, a gesture we greatly appreciated.
We highly recommend this osteria, especially if you're looking for authentic Veronese cuisine in a central location.

Excellent.
We were really hesitant about our first course, so we decided to have the Amorone risotto (a dream) and share another first course, cod ravioli. Both were exceptional. The service was fantastic. Everyone was super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuine. The wine by the glass was excellent.
When we return to Verona, we'll definitely be back. Recommended!
