We tried:
Appetizer: Soppressa
Starter: Ovetto truffle
First course: Zucchini tortelli (absolutely delicious, it's sweet) and Carciofo gratinato
Dessert: Tiramisu
Everything was exquisite! I highly recommend this place.

08/06/2025: I had the best pistachio croissant ever here! It was so good, so fresh and simply delicious! I’ve had many pistachio croissants, but this was the best one! I tried it fresh from the oven, it was so warm and so delicious. Also the coffee here is great too! I recommend!
07/06/2025: The cappuccino was wonderfully creamy, and the pistachio croissants were absolutely delicious! No wonder I went there several times for breakfast—and eventually even bought some coffee beans to take home.

06/11/2025: The menu, the place, and the service were amazing! I got a rye bagel that tasted just like wholemeal, with pesto, cheese, and almonds... generous and delicious.

The prices were more than fair, and the wait was short despite the busy restaurant. The staff was young, knowledgeable, and friendly! We'll definitely be back!

20/11/2025: It's been years since I've been to Oste Scuro.
A friend of mine, a seafood entrepreneur, took me there last night. I must say the dinner was truly exceptional, with Chef Simone guiding the selection of dishes. In my opinion, the restaurant deserves at least a Michelin star, especially when compared to other restaurants that have received one.
But sooner or later, it's bound to arrive...
Highly recommended; the price is justified by the excellent quality of the products.

The waiter accompanied us with his kindness throughout the dinner: the raw fish was amazing, incredibly fresh, made with the highest quality ingredients, the gold oyster was unique, the first course with truffle and kohlrabi was unique...
A special place for a special occasion

10/10/2025: Excellent little bar. we discovered this bar in 2023 we were served by Leo, lovely friendly polite young guy, we returned this year and he recognised us straight away which is so nice after two years!! Loved sitting people watching here. Very relaxed atmosphere and brilliant drink options!! Will definitely be back on our next trip to malcesine 🥂🍻🥃🍹 thank you Gabriele and Leo 🙂

The cured meats were carefully selected, the pasta dishes were amazing, and the ragù lived up to its name. The fillet steak was excellent, paired with three types of salt. The dessert and limoncello were worthy of a wonderful dinner. Excellent service, and the chef who came out to greet us… the icing on the cake.
I can't wait to go back!

As they say... Beautiful and talented! We stopped for lunch on a random Monday while traveling from Turin to Trieste. We had a wonderful meal: a speck appetizer with fried gnocco, a first course of bigoli with horse meat ragù, and an excellent Valpolicella red. The menu is varied, with generous portions and flavorful dishes. The wine list is also well-stocked. Kudos to the staff; I can't wait to return.

17/11/2025: Unfortunately, the quality of the dishes I chose during a dinner a few weeks ago wasn't up to the same level as previous occasions, and the service, while still prompt, was provided by a rather surly waiter.

01/10/2025: I love this location for aperitivo and aperitivo all year round... both in the summer with the tranquility and peace of the outdoor space... and in the winter with the crisper air. Quality wines, good food, especially the meatballs and platters. Excellent value. Ideal for couples, friends, and groups. I absolutely recommend it!
