06/01/2026: Amazing coffee (we ordered an espresso and cappuccinos) and delicious pastries. Staff didn’t speak English but if you know the basics of Italian it is easy to communicate with them, they’re very friendly. This coffee shop was opened on the 1st January. Would visit again!

13/12/2025: Cold cappuccino in December isn't the best, things done in a hurry compromise the quality, a 3 euro sandwich and finding half a slice of transparent ham... kind waitress

04/06/2025: This place is at the corner of Fondamenta Minotto. The location is simple, without any glamour and heavy decor. We ordered carpaccio, pasta seppei Veneziana, and O. Diavola (seafood in a juicy tomato broth with polenta). Everything was delicious. The freshness of the seafood, along with the past, makes these dishes a pleasure to digest. Of course, wine was a good companion; a bottle of Valpolicella and 2 glasses of Merlot ended up mixing with a Tiramissu decorating the experience.

25/05/2025: Le personnel est très accueillant, disponible et aimable. La cuisine est excellente avec des plats un peu plus originaux que la plupart des restaurants que l’on voit dans Venise (dans ce niveau de prix en tout cas. Pour entrée plat dessert avec boisson sans le vin, compter env 45 euros par personne.

21/02/2026: The restaurant has reopened under the old management, only for lunch from Monday to Saturday from 12:00 to 15:00. Try it!

25/12/2025: Terrible experience. I booked over a month ago for Christmas lunch with a large family. I left my contact information. This morning, Christmas Day, I called to confirm the time and there was no answer. I found a cell phone and a woman answered and said the restaurant was closed today. Without any prior notice. Thank you, terrible experience, and I'll gladly spread the word to friends, relatives, and acquaintances.

09/03/2026: Sunday, March 8th, the place was extremely crowded, but the service and food were decent. A very negative note: BLOCKED BATHROOMS!!!!

08/03/2026: The pizza was nothing special, in fact the tomatoes were unsalted and the waitress needed some manners training.

09/03/2026: Verdict: 👍🏽 100% worth the experience! If I were to describe the Florian, I’d say that it is a boutique cafe that makes you feel like you stepped in the 17th or 18th century. Open since 1720, (yes, seventeen-twenty) it is absolutely gorgeous! The seating is tight, but if you get in you make it work. We got a cappuccino and a hot chocolate. The cappuccino was divine, and the hot chocolate was super thick; as it should be. Their prices are definitely based on the experience & having found seating at one of their tables. e.g.: The hot chocolate was €18 in 2022. Again, it’s worth the experience. Think of it as the entrance fee for walking into a scene from history, but you also get a drink and/or snacks! 14/07/2025: Finalmente una cucina di quelle che piacciono a me,nata e cresciuta da queste parti e trapiantata a Torino, sincera e senza troppi fronzoli ,in cui la freschezza del pesce e l'abilità nel trattare la materia prima la fanno da padrona. Nota di merito alla grigliata di pesce con anguilla fatta alla brace semplicemente squisita!! Prezzo onestissimo in relazione alla qualità. Personale attento,gentile e simpatico. Ci tornerò sicuramente la prossima volta che sarò da queste parti.

11/05/2025: Posticino un po imboscato in una stradina laterale del centro storico di Mestre. Locale abbastanza grande e ottimo servizio. Abbiamo mangiato dei buonissimi cicchetti veneziani e un piatto di bigoli interessante

06/05/2025: Se le aconsejó que buscara Trattoria para probar la comida local. Estábamos en la zona y encontramos este restaurante que estaba escondido lejos de la zona principal. Tenían menú en inglés con chef y recomendaciones más populares. El aperitivo del perro de mar y la mejilla de ternera guisada. El plato de la calle 1 era un plato de muestras que era muy bueno en términos de sabor y oportunidad de saborear una variedad de aperitivos locales. La mejilla de ternera estaba muy tierna. La salsa usada era un poco pesada para los tomates, pero supongo que así les gusta a los italianos.

07/12/2025: Everything was perfect, a welcoming and clean place, friendly and kind owners and staff, excellent snack bars, all kinds of imaginative cocktails, an excellent choice of quality wines 🍷🥂, good beers too 🍺🍺, a must-stop recommended, all in total relaxation and tranquility 👍💯🔝 highly recommended

18/02/2026: Terrible service; the lady and the waiter had a very bad attitude towards the customers. Small portions, dirty bathrooms, and they seemed eager for you to eat and leave.

18/02/2026: One of the most wonderful culinary experiences of our trip to Europe. Italian cuisine is incomparable, and enjoying it in an authentic Venetian restaurant is indescribable. They offer a multi-course menu with delicious dishes and wine included. Trying the seafood pasta, fish, and tiramisu was a delight. A truly enjoyable experience.

03/01/2026: The male Asian waiter was extremely rude, and surprisingly problematic and racist since he is also foreigner in Venice, I won’t waste any more time writing down what happened but I got up and left which I never in my life did before at any restaurant. It was just bizarre.

27/12/2025: When we entered, the place was empty, and there was an unpleasant fishy smell, and these were the first warning signs. We also noticed that the tiramisu and desserts were together in the fridge with the meat. We ordered two eggplant parmigiana and received two eggplants cut in half that had nothing to do with parmigiana: not even a hint of mozzarella, bland and watery, for €18 each. So after the appetizer, we ran away as fast as we could. The only positive note was the professional waiter, but the cuisine needs a complete overhaul!!!! (I've attached a photo of the "parmigiana")

30/12/2025: Very nice, intimate, and welcoming place! The owner is truly friendly and generous with advice. The fish appetizer was delicious, followed by squid in ink on a bed of excellent white polenta. Well done, we'll definitely remember and return!

20/11/2025: An intimate atmosphere, almost a secret treat, with traditional cuisine but with a contemporary feel. Family-run. The atmosphere makes for a serene yet elegant yet unpretentious treat. Even the staff are part of this special place, a hidden gem.

16/10/2025: Excellent restaurant. Be sure to order the sea bass, which is cut with your order and marinated in Champagne. Excellent service and delicious food. We'll definitely be back!

13/10/2025: Hostaria ai Do Farai doesn't live up to the descriptions in previous reviews. It was a real disappointment! They've probably changed management... Terrible service and food, poor quality and quantity. We ordered seafood, but there was very little shellfish and it was flavorless, and the spaghetti tasted like it was seasoned with butter! They even tried to cheat us by charging us for what we hadn't eaten! They quickly changed the bill when this was pointed out, without apology. I don't recommend it!

22/07/2025: Helt gjennomsiktig turistfelle.. Grei service, maten smakte godt, men entrecôten var 5mm tykk og godt gjennomstekt. En god entrecôte er 3 fingre tykk, og servere entrecôte under 2 fingre i tykkelse skulle være forbudt. Det er også helt unødvendig å spørre om du vil ha den medium stekt, når den er 5mm tykk. Den er uansett gjennomstekt når den treffer grillen.

20/07/2025: Sono stata nel 2022 pagato una follia 90€ antipasto due granseole e un filetto di branzino con una bottiglia di acqua naturale. Servizio lento e mal curato.
