22/05/2025: The pasta arrabbiata was simply salty and had nothing to do with tomato sauce. It was also incredibly light, but I can see that for the price. The pizza marinara was €2 more expensive due to the extra 10 onion rings and also had nothing to do with Italian pizza. Dry, not much sauce. When I tried to criticize it, I was laughed at and the waiter simply walked away with the words, "Ah, yes, Italian food." The only thing that worked was the house red wine. It's a shame to call this Italian food.

22/05/2025: It is definitely not a place where you can eat peacefully. Very fast pace. After ordering we get our food in 8-10 minutes. The pizza is OK, a lot of ingredients but nothing special. Pasta carbonara is better. Supposedly no one tells us to leave when we finish the food but the looks of the waiters when we have only an unfinished drink are clear - we have to give up the table to the next one. I don't know how many people they serve here every day but it's definitely hundreds. Plus for the polite service. Minus for the noise, bustle and the crowd. But it's also our fault that we sat down on the most crowded square in Verona.

21/05/2025: Ringraziamo, innanzitutto, chi Domenica 18 Maggio 2025 a pranzo ci ha accolto e servito con professionalità e cortesia. Un sentito "GRAZIE" a Beppe, Angelo, Pino e la splendida Rosi. Sotto il loro consiglio abbiamo iniziato con delle squisite bruschettine su pane croccante con pomodoro, olio e basilico, la bontà nella semplicità. A seguire un buon piatto di Spaghetti alla Pescatora con pesce abbondante e di qualità, un primo piatto veramente dal gusto raffinato. Poi la seconda portata, una Frittura Mista di Mare non unta, ricca di diverse specialità ittiche e con una combinazione di consistenze e sapori che ti riportano alla mente le belle giornate estive al mare, il tutto accompagnato da un fresco prosecco che esaltava le caratteristiche dei piatti gustati. L'ambiente è solare e per niente rumoroso. Il costo del pranzo, in questo periodo dove molti ne approfittano e considerando il rapporto qualità/prezzo, l'abbiamo ritenuto più che corretto. Consumatori Italiani Uniti lo consiglia non solo ai propri soci, ma a tutti.

15/06/2025: Unfortunately, absolutely disappointing. We were very dissatisfied with our visit. The food was overall poor – the steak, which we specifically ordered rare, arrived completely cooked. We didn't eat it and wanted to return it; when we asked, neither an apology nor a solution was offered. In addition, the dishes didn't arrive at the same time, so some at the table were already finished while others had to wait. The service was inattentive and unfriendly. A woman who claimed to be the owner was particularly negative – unfortunately, she was also very disrespectful and not very customer-oriented. Only at the end, after a lengthy attempt at discussion, did she cancel the meal. It's a shame – we were really looking forward to the visit. A little tip: if you want to run an American diner, you should also understand a bit of English, especially if you want to profit from tourism.

14/06/2025: We showed up in 6 at this place, they took a table from us and made us stay at a small table (for maximum 4 people), continuing the evening we noticed the cutlery (knives and forks) dirty. As a last thing I wanted to mention the long waiting times to eat. Rude staff, at the time of payment there were 6 of us and they did not give us the possibility to pay with separate bills with the excuse that it was Saturday. Once we entered the bathroom the soap was not soap but water. Poor quality and cooking of the food. As a final criticism I wanted to say that all the sauces brought to the table were finished/in small quantities.

02/06/2025: Delusione totale in una delle trattorie più decantate di Venezia Su consiglio di un residente, ho cenato alla Trattoria della Madonna, presentata come una delle più antiche e rinomate della città. Purtroppo l’esperienza è stata decisamente negativa. Il pesce servito era chiaramente surgelato e preparato in anticipo, senza alcuna cura. La granseola, indicata come piatto forte, è arrivata nel carapace palesemente riutilizzato, con una poltiglia poco invitante e dal sapore discutibile (22 € a persona). L’antipasto della casa (oltre 30 € a testa) consisteva in pochi assaggi di mare: gamberetti precotti, canocchie e lumache riscaldate, più un moscardino non pulito e amarissimo. Il fritto misto era gommoso, il guazzetto di seppie pesante e accompagnato da una polenta palesemente industriale. Con vino della casa in caraffa e tre sorbetti, il conto è arrivato a 330 € in quattro. Esperienza deludente sotto ogni aspetto. Peccato: Venezia merita ben altro. Sconsigliato.

02/06/2025: Don’t get all the bad reviews. Can only put them down to unrealistic expectations or not understanding local customs. Given this is so close to Rialto I wouldn’t expect the quality to be so good or the prices so reasonable. That’s why we return each trip - usually multiple times. A pasta for €16-€20. A main for €19-€22 (including options for a piece of fish or a fish by weight which sometimes catches people out. Desserts at €6 and wine under €20 a bottle. Yes service is now on the bill. It’s clearly stated but until a few years ago it wasn’t. We’ve never been pressured to pay an additional service charge, though we sometimes do. Our choice.

29/04/2025: What a disgraceful bar, a sandwich with a micro slice of cooked ham and a slice of cheese costs 5 euros, not even in Venice you pay that much, plus the condiment was very salty! Never again, not recommended. I felt robbed.

03/05/2025: Beautiful location, sufficient food and absolutely overpriced to review the service for timing and perhaps even a little respect for the customer, you can't ask twice to speak to the Sommelier and this one present in the room doesn't even deign to come, the boy from Campania who served us was very polite and pleasant

23/04/2025: Bistro of a Michelin star restaurant, located in the main square of Vicenza, we were there on an early spring Sunday and took advantage of the sunny day to sit outdoors. Impeccable service and excellent food, I was sorry not to try other courses (seeing them go by made my mouth water), but it will be a reason to return. Super recommended.
