27/02/2026: For years, when we've been in Sottomarina, we've enjoyed eating there for lunch with the €14 menu, but we were there today and asked if the management had changed! The lady at the cash register told me no, I'm here to help my sister and nephew. I think it would have been better if it were closed. She scares customers away. The arrogant lady argues with the staff in front of customers. Unprofessional. Without a receipt, nothing worked, she just collected the money. 🤔🤔 Not recommended for now.

09/11/2025: We tried two of the cocktails, americherry and spritz lychee, from the menu. Both are really amazing and definitely worth a shot!!

01/04/2026: Small place, expensive drinks, and to top it all off, they told us off because our 8-year-old son couldn't go into a cubicle alone—what they call a restroom. Outrageous.
29/03/2026: The service is horrible! The owners are not polite with guests. Playing cards are apparently forbidden to play by Italian law hahaha! Honestly don’t go here. There are many better places in Venice to see and visit

30/03/2026: I bought a sandwich and they screamed “konnichiwa” “arigato”. Though I told them I’m not Japanese they kept screaming random Japanese words. This was so disrespectful.
If you can’t tell Asians apart just shut up please, Gracias.
24/03/2026: What a shame... but Venice itself, while still a spectacle, has become a real rip-off... 15 euros to climb a bell tower or enter a church, without even discounts for children. Not to mention that polluting 10-euro public ferry ride. 90 euros for a gondola ride...
What can I say? Let's wait for better times!

08/03/2026: Very unfriendly staff! You can tell they get a lot of walk-in customers and one more or less doesn't matter!!!
05/03/2026: At first, everything was fine, we enjoyed our meals, but halfway through, they started clearing the table, even though they're supposed to close at midnight. It was 10 PM, and there was an awkward atmosphere. They kept looking at us, as if they were trying to get rid of us. We felt pressured to leave. And then there are the little bread baskets with appetizers that are an extra charge. If you touch them and don't put them down, they're free, but as soon as someone touches them, it's a €10 surcharge. I think it's unacceptable that we have to pay for the cover charge, the service, and the meals.

07/04/2026: Had a great Hugo here! It was very refreshing and perfectly prepared. They also served complimentary chips on the side, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. Friendly staff and a cozy vibe.
04/04/2026: I'm giving it one star because unfortunately I can't give it less.
The staff is very rude, unprofessional, and ready to take a dig at people at 9 in the morning.
I'm referring to everyone who works there, whether waitress or bartender: "If this is how you treat customers, then change jobs. Vent your frustration elsewhere!"
It's a shame about the atmosphere, which is nice, but the rest leaves a lot to be desired.
Any advice? AVOID GOING THERE!!
It's not worth it, it's just money thrown away.
Never again.

03/01/2026: We waited over 20 minutes for an Aperol Spritz and a Coke. The waiter was very aggressive and unfriendly.
12/10/2025: A nice enough place, but the prices are a bit excessive (€5 for a cappuccino with cream). But the prices aren't the biggest disappointment. I found the staff to be truly disrespectful and mean; they literally kicked us out of the place (which was also empty). I'm giving it one star out of kindness. Everyone was really unpleasant, except for the waiter, who was super nice.

Nonexistent service and customer service. THEY DON'T USE REAL APEROL, but a Lidl sub-brand. Undrinkable coffee. Ridiculous prices. The staff are exclusively foreign, as, according to internal sources, they are exploited and underpaid. Stay away.

15/02/2026: Non-existent service! 20 minutes and no one came to take the order! Never again. They took orders from all the other tables.
15/01/2026: Top service and fair prices, they even specify the supplement for table service. I drank an infusion that was very good, and they added gluten-free brioche, without any contamination since it was in a sealed bag, and it was even good when reheated 😊 The waitress was very kind! Well done!
