07/06/2026: Impeccable Italian food with a wide selection, good service, the fantastic ambiance between the canal and Corso del Popolo was only marred by a construction site. We had a pleasant evening and recommend the restaurant.

06/04/2026: This cafe, located in Piazza della Signori in the center of Vicenza, is a lovely spot often seen on social media, with a beautiful glass-enclosed terrace. The Mont Blanc here is expensive, but delicious! This cafe generally has a higher price point for everything. Even at night, the cafe is lively with loud background music.

24/03/2026: We arrived in Vicenza and I was really looking forward to enjoying a traditional Aperol Spritz, but I have to admit I was disappointed. The only thing worth mentioning was the view of Piazza dei Signori. I drink this all the time and I know exactly how it should taste—and this, unfortunately, wasn't even close.

08/06/2026: The ambiance is nice, but that's about it. The waiters are unmotivated and unfriendly. The food is extremely expensive, and there's absolutely no value for money. Our bread basket was taken away even though my husband was still eating. A 0.33l Coke Zero costs €8 – and of course, these drinks aren't listed on the menu. It's a complete rip-off, and done in a very unpleasant way.

25/05/2026: Food was fine but not worth what they are charging, a Veg soup for €20, small bottle of water z€8 and the service was average at best …. On top of that they charge a 15% service charge, much better quality food, service and value available elsewhere in Venice.

24/10/2025: Cappuccino and croissant €3.30. If you'd like to sit down, your order will be placed on a tray and you can sit wherever you like. Several colorful tables outside as well. The café is located opposite the Chemistry Department and on a side street off Via Jappelli. It's super crowded at lunchtime. The staff is very friendly and smiling.

26/04/2026: Terrible experience. Six of us went for an afternoon aperitivo. Two orders were misplaced, and when we got the bill, we were told we had to pay for things we hadn't ordered. The cashier then said, "I'm so sorry you don't even remember what you ordered." To avoid arguments, we paid without hesitation and left. The spritz was definitely not among the best we've ever had.

26/04/2026: The lady at the counter was extremely unpleasant, rude, and unprofessional from start to finish. She responded coldly, was abrupt, and displayed an annoyed attitude even for simple requests from all the customers. Working with the public requires good manners and courtesy, especially if people ask questions politely.

08/05/2026: Let's start by saying that I'm not one for reviews, but in this case I feel obligated to do so. You enter the hotel and everything seems fine, but as soon as you enter the room, the nightmare begins: the bathroom is equipped for disabled guests, even though I don't feel like one. Description: Toilet seat missing, risk of getting stuck; nonexistent shower consisting of a hand shower and drain; limescale on some of the furniture along with strange yellow stains I've never seen before; all this luxury accompanied by a smell that's anything but pleasant. Let's not forget the wonderful dinner, consisting of decent pasta and a roast that felt like a Vibram sole. Hotel perks: shared balcony with all the other rooms, perfect for disturbing and playing pranks!

18/12/2025: Although the atmosphere is very pleasant, I had a terrible experience at a graduation party. I repeatedly mentioned that one person had allergies to eggplant and mushrooms, and one to gluten. I was told that they wouldn't use the mushrooms and eggplant and that the celiac girl would be brought a special plate of cured meats just for her. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE! Two different cicchetti contained mushrooms and eggplant (luckily we tasted them first, just to be safe). We reported this, but nothing was done. The cured meats plate for the celiac girl was placed in the center, and obviously, people didn't know, so it was contaminated. This was also reported, and nothing was done! Also, the portions were very small.

24/03/2026: Bar Duomo in Montegrotto offers a metaphysical experience: the illusion of existence. Despite the large window, the owner and waiter have mastered the art of ignoring customers so as not to interrupt their pleasant conversation. Entering in desperation, I order two coffees, explicitly requesting two glasses of water. Only the coffees arrive at the table, tragically alone. This indifference obviously deterred us from purchasing the bottles of water we had planned. The final blow comes at the register: no credit cards, only cash. A romantic and disorienting dive into the fiscal Middle Ages. We leave mortified. Congratulations for redefining the concept of hospitality.

06/01/2026: Good chocolate, poor cream. Good service, intimate atmosphere, but Christmas decorations could be improved.

24/02/2026: Changed management and pastry shop not comparable

15/02/2026: Their products are usually very good. But we went for breakfast on Saturday morning and the counter was almost empty; there were very few croissants left at 10:00 AM. Shortly afterward, more were brought, and we obviously thought they were freshly baked... they were obviously old, almost inedible, terrible. I would have appreciated being warned rather than being given old products and passed them off as new (and charged for them as new). I hope this never happens again.

08/12/2025: The service was appalling; they only speak Italian, and because they didn't understand me, they were incredibly rude, especially one dark-haired woman. What an unpleasant and disrespectful woman! Go further down the road and definitely avoid this place.

07/12/2025: We stopped for coffee and a small panettone, and it was very good. Everything was delicious, and the girl was very friendly.

26/12/2025: €9.50 and a good half-hour wait for a double espresso (not good) and a hot chocolate (watered down). Sorry, I really hope I'm having a bad day.

09/11/2025: We tried two of the cocktails, americherry and spritz lychee, from the menu. Both are really amazing and definitely worth a shot!!

01/02/2026: We stopped for a quick spritz early in the afternoon. It was served with a bowl of dry, chopped chips, and the taste of the wine was undrinkable, so much so that I couldn't finish it. The service also leaves much to be desired.
