08/10/2025: Super products! But... we had quests and casually passing by the shop wanted to buy the famous tiramisu. We arrived minute after closing, but the door was open and the lady still there, tiramisu in fridge. Unfortunately she refused to sell us the tiramisu. We were so disappointed. What a service is this?

03/10/2025: I thought a lot before making the decision to leave a very negative review about Max's Pastry Shop. So I ordered a cake for my birthday, and when I opened the box, there was an unpleasant smell, like burnt rubber. It was inedible. I brought it back and got my money back. I was told that a piece of plastic had fallen onto the heating element in the storage room where they keep the puff pastry. So whoever made the cake really didn't care. Honestly, I should have reported this. This is already the second negative experience. Last time, I ordered a cake for my husband's birthday, and when I went to pick it up, it wasn't even ready. So never again.

21/06/2025: Location molto deludente e ci sono tantissimi moscerini. Si mangia da dio!! É tutto buono!! I gelati non buoni soprattutto il sorbetto che é amaro!!!!

13/06/2025: This is the kind of restaurant where the locals eat. It appeared the staff knew their diners and treated all guests respectfully. It was recommended to us by numerous locals for its truly great Italian food. We walked in when it opened and it was full within a half of an hour. It's off the beaten path in an alley but well worth it. The food was fantastic and the service was great.

22/09/2025: Sunday evening dinner: You ask for toast for the child and they tell you they're out of bread and can't get it. A pasta dish isn't available. You're forced to opt for a simple hot dog (bread and sausage), terrible quality. Microscopic bruschetta. Not recommended if you're hungry. The quality here is also nothing special. The club sandwich is a good one. On top of that, the prices are exorbitant in my opinion: €11 for a tiny bruschetta and €7.50 for a medium beer. The waiters aren't exactly friendly or helpful.

13/10/2025: I understand why they're starting to use robots to make cocktails, pizza, etc. I'd also recommend it at the Adige piadineria! Three takeout piadinas, two of which were bad: a "papripollo" without arugula and zucchini, which we found to be normal (allergy issue). "Bel paese" with mushrooms, just "bel paese." Whole wheat pasta finished, oh well. The receipt was marked with the various price increases (rightly so), too bad they weren't included in the piadinas. Tried calling to report them, no response!

27/09/2025: Thieves! I ordered a cake for five people, and they gave me a 2 kg cake, not even pretty, for 70 euros!

14/09/2025: I ordered online, and the delivery was fine. Despite having received a truly diverse selection of cream puffs and different products, from a tartlet to pistachio croissants, I was completely disappointed across the board, and I write this with immense regret. I'm sure it was just a bit of bad luck on my part.

03/11/2025: Nice atmosphere, but it's a shame that the sandwiches/tramezzini/pastries display no prices. Bottom line: I spent almost €24 for two ham and cheese sandwiches, a small beer, a Coke, two coffees, and a mini pasta.

03/08/2025: A wonderful place, carefully decorated, where time seems to stand still. I drank an excellent almond iced coffee and had a profound conversation with Stefano, the owner. He also transmits his passion for his work to his customers. A truly positive experience!

06/09/2025: Terrible experience buying a cake: We went in person to order a birthday cake (they didn't take orders over the phone to avoid mistakes). They immediately asked for a deposit. We didn't have any cash, so we offered to pay everything right away, but they had issues with the POS. The cake was supposed to be ready two days later, but they still asked us to come back again to pay the deposit the following day. On the day of pickup, they called us three times at 8:00 in the morning to remind us that the POS wasn't working yet. We went to pick up the cake... Surprise! The cake was completely different from the one we ordered in the photo, and it was ruined too! To apologize, they gave us a €2 discount (at this point, they would have looked better not to do so) after we went there in person three times at their suggestion to choose the cake with them.

03/09/2025: Prices are too high and too focused on turnover. Coffees are €1.40. Brioches are up to €2.50 each. Order coffee with a notepad, just like at a restaurant.

03/11/2025: Right next to the world’s oldest library, the Biblioteca Capitolare di Verona, the cappuccino here is simply perfect.

12/10/2025: Beautiful cups, but the staff is uncomfortable and the atmosphere is overly tense. The red-haired girl was very rude, and the cashier wasn't very smiling; moreover, she even snapped at a colleague in front of everyone. If you don't like your job, don't do it. In a job with the public, you have to be smiling and make people feel comfortable, but there was a very toxic and negative overall atmosphere.

23/04/2025: Los camareros eran groseros e inútiles. El servicio tomó mucho tiempo. La comida no valía la pena el precio. Tuvimos que llamar a los camareros para todo dos veces, servilletas, menús, factura.

20/04/2025: Ci siamo finiti per caso grazie a un suggerimento dell'hotel, appena arrivati siamo accorti che ci aspettavano una serata speciale. Locale splendido, cucina ottima, ricercata e anche un po' avveniristica. Servizio top, con grande simpatia. 🔝

09/05/2025: Average pizzeria but service not up to par: several times when I ordered pizza I arrived at the appointed time to pay for it and take it away and inevitably they were always about to put it in the oven at that moment. If it happened on a Saturday night I can understand but even midweek days are not good. If a time is agreed upon, it must be respected.

01/05/2025: A fixed point when I'm out and about and don't feel like cooking. At the Biga pizzeria I tasted all the offerings. Pizza, loaf, shirt. I change every time, but the loaf and shirt remain my favourites, for a bit of a change. Crispy pasta and not at all "choppy" as is now fashionable in the city and in the vicinity of La Biga itself. Always fresh ingredients. Fast and friendly service in a quiet area just outside the centre. Absolutely recommended!

16/11/2025: One of the worst dinners in my life. I ordered veal with potatoes - the potatoes were covered in parsley and thus were quite tasteless, but so strong in (an awful) taste at the same time. None of the staff even asked if everything was ok, or if something was wrong with the meal because I had left half of my plate intact. We paid two small main dishes with two glasses of wine 64 euros. So expensive for such bad food experience. I definitely don't recommend.

09/11/2025: The food was of high quality, the location overlooks the historic square, and you can come and relax and taste different dishes.

05/10/2025: I got takeaway, it arrived 2 hours later, they made a mistake in making them and on top of that I called but they didn't answer, congratulations 👏👏👏

18/07/2025: I often get poke with raw salmon. I'm giving it 3 stars because sometimes it's good, other times it smells bad. Maybe it depends on how old it is, I don't know... Overall, not bad.

31/10/2025: Delicious pastries and knowledgeable, friendly staff. Recommended.

21/10/2025: 90 cents for a glass of still water, shameful.
