12/09/2025: The waitress looked like she'd been raining for seven days. Unfriendly, no explanation. The order was taken, or rather, acknowledged. No questions asked if we wanted anything else... The coffee tasted good, and the drinks, if they were original, were also good. We've been there twice now; you can have a bad day, she must have had a bad week.

08/10/2025: IT'S A SCAM! There was a price list on the wall and on the restaurant's menu. The large cappuccino I ordered was €2.50, and they charged me €5. On top of that, it wasn't even a cappuccino, it was a terrible latte. Then the large latte macchiato was more of the same; it was another latte and also €5 when the price list said it was €3.00. Two macaroons that cost €2 were charged €2.50, so out of the €10 we had to pay, we ended up paying €15. I complained to the waiter, and he told me that since it was a takeaway, they charged more. Seriously? Since when do they charge for takeaway? I've never seen this anywhere. Not at all recommended. If you don't want to be ripped off, don't go near them! By the way, the friendliness was completely nonexistent, because it seemed like they were doing you a favor by serving you. I'm waiting for them to contact me to return this stolen money.

29/09/2025: We had espresso at the bar. The Italian in front of us paid €1.40. Ours was suddenly €2.20. Tourist rate?? It wasn't at the table. Just at the bar. Ridiculous.

07/09/2025: Very unfriendly staff and extremely poor service. Unfortunately, I absolutely do not recommend it. If you want to be treated disrespectfully, go there – otherwise, it's best to avoid it.

06/09/2025: I ordered two pizzas to take away and a coffee at the bar. The waitress definitely understood my order, but the vegetarian pizza ended up with ham. It can happen, and it's my fault that I didn't realize it until I got to the lounger. The fact that the waitress took an extra euro for the tip when I paid was fine, but it was rude. So I'll walk a few more meters to the nearest beach vendor.

13/05/2025: Ci siamo fermati a cena in questa osteria una domenica sera di fine aprile senza grandi aspettative e l’esperienza in effetti è stata piuttosto modesta. Il locale è molto grande e arredato in stile tipico, il menù è ampio (forse troppo) con possibilità di scegliere tra cucina e pizza. I piatti assaggiati si sono rivelati assolutamente basici nella presentazione e non certo indimenticabili nella sostanza e nei sapori. Servizio sufficiente anche se un po' svogliato. Conto nella media ma in rapporto alla qualità del cibo potrebbe quasi essere ritenuto un po' alto. Locale basico senza pretese che può andar bene al limite per un pasto in pausa pranzo.

19/07/2025: Una vera delusione per chi ama il crudo come me e sicuramente abituato a portate di ottimo livello . Presentare un piattino con 2 gamberi e 1 scampo con 3 carpaccini di ricciola spada e ombrina al prezzo di 28€ è un vero e proprio furto . Pagare un conto di 75 € a testa per un piatto di spaghetti al nero di seppia e uno spaghetto ai lupini di laguna è assolutamente una presa in giro . Ah dimenticavo per finire 2 palline di sorbetto e una porzione di tiramisù. 150€ spesi veramente male . Sconsiglio vivamente. Cibo: 1/5 | Servizio: 1/5 | Ambiente: 1/5

07/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante un sabato sera con un buon numero di amici, ma l’esperienza è stata tutt’altro che positiva. Appena arrivati, non ci è stato fornito alcun listino prezzi, lasciandoci completamente all’oscuro su cosa potessimo ordinare e sui costi. Il titolare ha deciso in gran parte lui, considerando solo in parte le nostre richieste: avevamo chiesto molto cotto o poco crudo, ma è arrivato metà crudo e metà cotto. Abbiamo potuto scegliere poco perché c’era gran poca scelta nelle sue proposte e cercava di imporre le sue decisioni. Gli antipasti erano semplici e poco saporiti, niente di speciale. Le cappelonghe erano pessime, tanto che nessuno le ha mangiate. L’unico primo che ci ha proposto era uno spaghettino, che nessuno ha preso, e lo stesso è successo con il secondo, una grigliata di pesce. Anche in questo caso avevamo chiesto determinate cose, ma il titolare ha fatto di testa sua. La grigliata era deludente: il branzino insapore e pieno di grasso, mentre la sogliola non aveva gusto. Il conto è stato un altro shock: 110 euro a testa, senza aver ricevuto alcuno scontrino (e, a detta loro, già “scontato”). Per aver mangiato solo antipasti e una grigliata scadente, ci è sembrato un vero e proprio furto. Penso che il titolare sia molto molto furbo, aveva già deciso il prezzo quando siamo arrivati… la professionalità non sa minimamente cosa sia… Esperienza da dimenticare. Non torneremo mai più.

21/10/2025: We were happy with the products here. One of the best cannoli we ate here(we ate quite a few others and they were bad compared to this one). Same for the sweets, they looked made with quality ingredients and very tasty. Great coffee too and reasonable prices.

19/10/2025: If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. The two workers were incredibly rude and openly talked about us as if we couldn’t understand them. We bought food to go and decided to sit at one of the outside tables to eat. A lady with glasses came out yelling that we couldn’t sit there because we ordered to go and had a coffee cup from another place. I politely apologized and explained that we had purchased food from their restaurant, but she laughed in my face and rolled her eyes. It was the most unprofessional and disrespectful experience I’ve ever had, and to top it off, the food wasn’t anything special. AVOID AT ALL COST if you want a good and friendly environment.

29/09/2025: A surreal experience: the owner, or so-called owner, harassed me and then kicked me out of the bar because I only had a coffee and took my daughter to the bathroom. But I was craving coffee at that moment. Clearly, he can't handle the burden of having a place in the heart of Verona, just steps from Juliet's house, which inevitably makes it a pass-by bar. Such behavior should be reported to the bar owners' association.

01/10/2025: A nice bar with a nice atmosphere. The problem is the owner, who only knows how to drink. My girlfriend and I sat down and waited 25 minutes for this so-called owner, if you can call him that, to order. Then we waited another 15 minutes for two spritzes (€10) while the owner sat at a table with his friends, messing around. DO NOT OPEN A BAR IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO RUN IT. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

20/09/2025: We went in to get two sandwiches to share between four of us because we were inspired by this shop. While the owner was preparing them, he commented annoyed that we'd only ordered two (€5 each). Once we'd finished, we went back and told him that his comment wasn't very nice and that it was a shame because the food was good, but kindness and courtesy toward customers clearly aren't a given. He responded by telling us to shove the comment in our behinds and that it wasn't fair to have shared the food. So, my sincere advice: if you want to come here, buy the products but consider sharing something to go!

03/08/2025: I don't understand the comments, I was well received, the prices of the sandwiches vary from €2.50 to €4, several varieties, then as for the quantities €2.50 you want what more. I enjoyed the porchetta and the mortadella. Thank you

17/08/2025: Rude and inhuman staff for personalized service. I strongly advise against it. A bathroom pass costing at least €5 is unacceptable!

19/10/2025: Terrible experience! For two terrible coffees, two pastries, and a small bottle of mineral water, we paid €11.10. Disorganized, the elderly owner rudely treats the staff in front of customers: an embarrassing situation! I've decided to share my opinion, even though it won't help much because it's one of the few bars near the Basilica of St. Anthony, and the owners will continue to take advantage of unsuspecting customers.

24/09/2025: An armed robbery. Two espressos and a glass of tap water cost €6 (a glass of water cost €1). And the coffee wasn't even good.
