To review this place in the heart of Verona.
Everything is as described above with my ratings... I don't find it to be a fair value for the prices, which are, to say the least, expensive, as shown in the photos. It's true that we're in the center of Verona, but like other places, and they're certainly not like that, I've tried almost all of them.
The quality is decent, but as I repeat, the table service is okay, but not the prices.
07/01/2026: The two owners have bad tempers. For one person/one drink to go to the bathroom, I can understand, I agree... etc., but there are ways and ways to clarify that you have to pay to go to the bathroom. For a child (who almost does it around the corner), a little courtesy, a little kindness, even a fake smile are enough, but then again, from two witches (no offense to the witches, but to them, yes), what can you expect...
The coffee? Horrible, I would have also bought juice, snacks, and more, but in the end I left, telling the two bitches to go to hell.
I don't recommend it. All the places around here are 4/5 stars, but this one is NOT.

04/10/2025: Service very friendly and nice choice of products. But too expensive. Double or triple price - tourist trap. Would buy in a supermarket.
We had two sandwiches, nothing special, bun was quite dry, expected a better quality.

19/12/2025: We were looking for a warm place to kill time until the ferry arrived and we came in here. We shared a huge sandwich and had some coffees! The man was super friendly.

14/12/2025: 2 euros for a takeaway croissant!!!! Run away!!!! Pasticceria alla bragora next door is much better, and a real bakery!
10/11/2025: We went a couple of times to order Aperol and some snacks to take away, and everything was great. Very friendly staff and fast service. Highly recommended.

15/03/2026: Do not Visit! As almost all reviews state, terrible food, terrible staff, scam you for and extra €2 over list price on items. Only reason they are still in business is because they have rented a good location to run their operation from.
14/03/2026: The rating is lower, only because we will have one price for sitting in and another for takeaway. The coffee is delicious and the pastries are dry, but the price for an espresso and cappuccino with a biscuit was 18e, very expensive.

12/04/2026: The bar was ugly and dirty, and €4.50 for a coffee and a 0.5L bottle of water. I asked about the price and was told it was for table service (our table was literally 50 cm from the counter, and the owners invited us to sit down).
07/04/2026: €2 coffee without even a glass of water and obviously no receipt. Not recommended.

05/04/2025: I'm putting one star because the system doesn't allow you not to put even one, otherwise the most correct review would be a 0.
There are three of us and we order two coffees. The lady is obviously resentful that I didn't take anything, and when she brings us coffees she doesn't even respond to our "thank you". I ask to use the bathroom and the lady rudely informs me that I would have to pay 50 cents because I didn't use anything. I point out that in any case there was a consumption of the group, and I inform you that I also work in catering and have never heard of anything like this. Nothing to do, I couldn't use the toilet.
The two coffees were paid €3.60 and were advanced because they were terrible.
A failure on every front.
07/03/2025: Friday March 7, 25 at lunchtime. Espresso / extra class - almond biscuits or something similar / can be seen in the photo - just good - service lady nice and friendly - came here on the recommendation of local citizens - thank you to the 2 Alpini gentlemen - many thanks to the restaurant - everything is fine - 💁🇦🇹🙋 greet you - oops - using the toilet was no problem either - super clean ☀️🤝 . With the best will in the world, we can't understand the negative reviews - but: an 🇦🇹 Austrian proverb says: ** as you shout (call) into the forest - that's how the echo comes back - rules of etiquette have probably been forgotten.
