04/06/2026: We should have read the reviews beforehand; then we could have avoided eating here.
My husband had fettuccine with seafood. It seemed like they were just collecting leftovers in the kitchen, including broken shells. There was hardly any seafood to be found under the pasta.
I had fettuccine with duck sauce. Pale cubes of duck meat sat on top of the pasta, but where was the sauce? The meat was tough. I've had much better in Veneto.
For a large bottle of water, two glasses of red wine, two espressos, and two pasta dishes, we paid €74!
The service was friendly!
The restaurant itself: Well, it's okay.
Conclusion: We wouldn't recommend it.
04/06/2026: After ordering octopus, they brought calamari with potatoes. The portion is very small. Next dish: The oysters were not very fresh. After putting lemon juice on it, it didn't move. And if they are fresh, you have to rotate them. The price paid does not match the quality of the food. I don't recommend it.

04/06/2026: DO NOT COME! They lied about the price of the cocktail (not listed on the menu) and we asked 3x to ensure we would be charged $15. We got our bill… $50! We explained to them that we were misinformed and the manager started YELLING at us and getting other customers involved to tell us that we were stupid and must pay the full amount. We realize that he charged us a miscellaneous fee and not a drink fee. This was a SCAM!!!! Do not come.
Also, the apertivos are stale chips. The spritz are full of ice and watered down.
Please do not give your money here
03/06/2026: Don't go here. Terrible food, got a salad where the tomatoes had no flavour, neither did the buffalo mozzarella and the Parma ham tasted like it had gone off. All made with cheap ingredients, sold for high price. Not real Italian cuisine at all.

11/06/2026: I think this place is wonderful! It has an old-world atmosphere, elegant and magical, adorned with classical music.
It's particularly charming at Christmas.
The owner also has refined poetic talents.

27/07/2026: I have been in Italy 10 days and never experienced such rude service. The two ladies working this morning were outrageously rude and literally yelled at us for ordering to go but then snacking on our food while waiting for our espresso. I’m Pretty sure after yelling at us in English, they cursed us out in Italian. It was simply ridiculous and an unsettling experience.
26/07/2026: We had coffee in the morning and came back again in the afternoon. Delicious, reasonably priced, with tasty pastries and freshly squeezed fruit juice. We recommend it!

20/06/2026: A lovely pastry shop in a slightly retro setting. The outdoor seating is lovely. The pastries are delicious. Friendly staff.
18/04/2026: HAHAHAHA what an absurd bar...when you come in, no one greets you...old bar, dated staff. They looked at me with an air of unique arrogance. Then the elderly lady...with low-cut neckline who was serving. Come on!!

18/12/2025: Although the atmosphere is very pleasant, I had a terrible experience at a graduation party. I repeatedly mentioned that one person had allergies to eggplant and mushrooms, and one to gluten. I was told that they wouldn't use the mushrooms and eggplant and that the celiac girl would be brought a special plate of cured meats just for her. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE! Two different cicchetti contained mushrooms and eggplant (luckily we tasted them first, just to be safe). We reported this, but nothing was done. The cured meats plate for the celiac girl was placed in the center, and obviously, people didn't know, so it was contaminated. This was also reported, and nothing was done!
Also, the portions were very small.

06/04/2026: This cafe, located in Piazza della Signori in the center of Vicenza, is a lovely spot often seen on social media, with a beautiful glass-enclosed terrace.
The Mont Blanc here is expensive, but delicious! This cafe generally has a higher price point for everything.
Even at night, the cafe is lively with loud background music.
24/03/2026: We arrived in Vicenza and I was really looking forward to enjoying a traditional Aperol Spritz, but I have to admit I was disappointed. The only thing worth mentioning was the view of Piazza dei Signori. I drink this all the time and I know exactly how it should taste—and this, unfortunately, wasn't even close.

26/07/2026: I enjoyed delicious homemade lemonade 🍹 and a very tasty Kuyaba wrap. Great atmosphere, excellent service. I highly recommend this bar 😀

20/07/2026: Disappointing experience.
The place is nice and the staff was friendly and cheerful, but the prices are truly excessive: €7 for a Spritz Select and €2.50 for each shot. Unfortunately, on top of that, when I got the bill, I was charged for five shots instead of the four we'd ordered. A young man with Asian appearance served me, and unfortunately, I only noticed the mistake when we were getting on the bus back, so I didn't have a chance to mention it.
It may have been a simple oversight, but the fact remains that I paid more than I should have. My advice is to always check your receipt before leaving.
For my part, considering the prices and the mistake on the bill, I won't be returning.

20/05/2026: Very rude staff. I just asked to pay, but a girl serving tables and working at the cash register had a problem and told me she wasn't being rude. She also rudely responded to three foreigners. The middle-aged woman, on the other hand, made fun of me. I didn't behave badly!!!

Fantastic experience at Ristorante Pizzeria El Fontego! Delicious pizza, and even though the kitchen was actually about to close, they still made three for us. That’s what I call top-notch service! Friendly staff, a beautiful location, and highly recommended.

The waiters are unmotivated and unfriendly.
The food is extremely expensive, and there's absolutely no value for money.
Our bread basket was taken away even though my husband was still eating.
A 0.33l Coke Zero costs €8 – and of course, these drinks aren't listed on the menu.
It's a complete rip-off, and done in a very unpleasant way.
25/05/2026: Food was fine but not worth what they are charging, a Veg soup for €20, small bottle of water z€8 and the service was average at best …. On top of that they charge a 15% service charge, much better quality food, service and value available elsewhere in Venice.
