01/02/2025: First days of the year, first ever visit to the place and the restaurant. Not a very large room, with a closed, heated veranda with a glass window that offers a view of the entire plain. Average food, polenta not excellent, still fair prices

21/01/2025: This wine tasting trip was easy to get to from Puerto de la Cruz, we used the local Titsa bus 345 or 351 which run frequently. It's only a few minutes walk from La Orotava bus station. The wine tasting was in English and we were hosted by the owner Janet and husband Jesus who were very welcoming and friendly. We have no experience in wine tasting, and opted for the "Abona" tasting. We enjoyed this very much, Janet informed us about the history and backgrounds of each wine, grapes and regions. We learned also how to assess each wine. The tasting lasted just over an hour and we very much enjoyed the experience, thoroughly recommend it. Thank you Janet and Jesus!

15/02/2025: The name can be misleading but here you eat like in a trattoria with genuine flavours. The first courses are excellent with generous portions, well creamed and very tasty. Highly recommended are the cappellacci, the spicy umbricelli and the fettuccine with excellent white ragù. Unfortunately we didn't have time to taste the second courses but looking at the other tables we will return to try them. The selection of desserts is also excellent. Really friendly staff, clean and quiet youth club. Thinking about it, eating here makes you feel happy and therefore the name is really apt!!

16/02/2025: A really nice experience, excellent food with a great variety of meats and with great availability from the managers. Even though the place was warm I suffered a little from the cold, I recommend the heating lamps towards the window in the second room. For the rest excellent!

03/02/2025: We came to this place by chance thinking about buying olive oil and ended up staying for dinner since the products they had caught our attention. The staff that served us was very friendly and the food was very good. We ordered a plate of cold meats with cheese and wine and some sheep skewers. Everything was delicious. We will definitely return on our next trip to the area.

14/01/2025: We were in Assisi in December, on the 27th we wanted to have lunch and eat some of the place, it was all full but by chance we saw this restaurant... without having booked they welcomed us immediately, the service was perfect, professional and fast, we ate abundant first courses (spaghettoni, pepper and cheese), delicious, platter of cold cuts (delicious cured meats and cheeses).. delicious jams, all well explained... cooked potatoes and onions under the grill, all in a rustic, ancient and clean environment, in short we left full and happy, we recommend it!

06/01/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo in questo ristorante arroccato tra le scale del vicolo principale di Assisi che porta direttamente alla Rocca di Assisi, dire incantevole è poco! Siamo stati subito accolti dal personale gentilissimo che ci ha trovato un tavolo nonostante non avessimo prenotato e il ristorante fosse pieno. Abbiamo trovato un menù tipico lontano dai soliti menù turistici con gusti autentici, materie prime di qualità e soprattutto abbondanti. In fine abbiamo concluso con dei dolci fatti in casa dalla titolare che ci hanno fatto sognare. Che dire di più.. abbiamo trovato il nostro ristorante preferito ad Assisi, sapremo dove tornare!! Bravi bravi bravi!!!

01/01/2025: We spent New Year's Eve dinner there with my wife, they had a fixed menu for the occasion... As we all know the fixed menu can be a big hoax... And instead I was amazed by the quality of the raw materials, the creation of the dishes and their presentation. Mind you, it wasn't cheap on the menu, but that doesn't mean it wasn't worth the price. Very welcoming, attentive and friendly staff. Very well looked after place, the furnishing details inside are refined and well mixed together. Without a doubt I will return to be able to admire it during the day directly overlooking Lake Trasimeno... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

26/12/2024: Anche questo locale rientra tra i nostri preferiti in questa Splendida regione. Antipasto di lago sublime, olio pazzesco, pane fatto in casa da brivido. Direi quasi perfetto

21/12/2024: Dinner with friends. Il Ravale is the classic Umbrian tavern. Very large parking lot. It has rooms, one with a fireplace and the other on the veranda. Food of excellent quality and style. The omelettes were cooked just right, it's a pity that the truffle wasn't so tasty. Very good first courses. The meat, both beef and sheep, is of excellent quality. Good side dishes. Pizza, excellent. Very good homemade desserts. Excellent quality red wine and blonde beer. Fast service. Friendly, friendly and efficient staff. I recommend this restaurant.

23/02/2025: We had lunch to celebrate a dear friend's birthday in complete tranquility, recommended by him, we had a great time, quality raw materials and dishes really cooked properly, a pleasant discovery, we will definitely return. Really compliments

16/09/2024: Delizioso locale nel centro di Gubbio dove gustare in tranquillità ottime bruschette al tartufo, una deliziosa ricotta proposta nel tagliere dei formaggi ed un meraviglioso Sagrantino. Gentilissima la ragazza ai tavoli, premurosa la proprietaria che si affaccia ripetutamente a sincerarsi che tutto proceda al meglio. Conto più che onesto, una sosta davvero piacevole!

18/02/2025: Top place, my favorite fish restaurant on the lake, I've been there several times, and every time it's safe, the quality of the food is excellent, I recommend the tartares I've never eaten so good, and the first fruits of the Adriatic, a dish worth a dinner. I'm still waiting for Bruno's risotto, the best risotto I've ever eaten which I haven't found on the menu for some time, unfortunately. Furthermore, due to a misunderstanding on a previous bill, on a Sunday for lunch, I returned with my partner and the child, and the owner offered us the whole dinner to apologise. Catering that is difficult to find, and I travel around Italy for work.

15/02/2025: Unfortunately we decide to spend the evening of Valentine's 25th and my wife's birthday in this place. We arrive at 8.50pm in the half-empty room. We are parked at a table in a corner of the room between a column and a bar corner. After 20 minutes they deign to serve us the first of the 3 appetizers included in the fixed menu. We wait another 30 minutes without being served and we notice that the table next to us (who arrived about 20 minutes after us) was already at the risotto. At that point I turned to the owner of the blackbird seat asking to change tables so that the waiters could see us and serve us. The very kind manager, snorting, says to be patient. After 10 minutes a waiter arrives with the second of the 3 starters and serves us exclaiming: "now eat!" At that point my wife and I got up and decided to leave that blackhole. The thing that bothers me is that the owner also knew that it was my wife's birthday and he didn't even bother to justify himself for the poor service and the evening that he had ruined for us but instead he did his best to make money. Total spent €94.50 for a bottle of wine, a bottle of water and a starter eaten in an hour (the second starter was left to the well-mannered and professional waiter). We left hungry to go elsewhere but I certainly didn't look like I was starving... Some places are naturally meant to fail and I don't understand how people go back there.

01/03/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante nel cuore della Val Nerina, un pranzo molto piacevole e con ottimi piatti tipici del territorio. Location suggestiva a due passi dalla vecchia ferrovia Spoleto - Roma, con il fiume Nera nelle vicinanze. Veramente consigliato
