02/02/2025: Local created from a very welcoming former stable in the context of Villa a Sesta village, honestly, not nice. There is better in Chianti. The "greatest hits 8 course" menu was stressful: too many different flavors one after the other, some of them very strong. The tortellini al buristo left me with an aftertaste that I didn't like. Of the second courses, I liked the aubergine cake and the salted ricotta, but not the pigeon pulp and the roe deer fillet, although they were cooked with undoubted skill. The 2 good desserts, but practically 2 spoons in total. The "al pace" IGT wine left us speechless. Cost €16.50 per bottle! In a starred restaurant you don't expect it. So I would say good, but not great. I wouldn't go back.

13/03/2025: Che dire lo chef Pino non si smentisce mai con la sua favolosa cucina. Pesce sempre fresco e preparato senza tanta lavorazione per far sì che il gusto resta quello reale. Sono solito prendere degli antipasti di crudo, che sono veramente squisiti, deliziosi, freschi ed abbattuti, nonché impiantati con classe. Ricci di mare ostriche scampi salmone tonno, il tutto veramete squisito.Personale di cucina preparato e all’altezza, come l’aiuto ai secondi. E che dire della sala tutti professionali e attenti al cliente. Non mancano dei vini ottimi sia bianchi, bollicine che rossi.Per finire sempre una bella esperienza culinaria.

27/02/2025: TrattoriadiCagnano #Tomato Cheese Lasagna The Italian dining habit is to eat starch first and then the main meal (meat). For me, this is equivalent to eating two main meals😆 The first dish #Tomato Cheese Lasagna is completely my dish😻I love this dish. The next pork dish is similar to the pork dishes eaten in Bergamo. Of course, the presentation of this restaurant looks more appetizing😊 Unfortunately, I left half of it unused but the dessert cheese The espresso is the best👍

14/02/2025: Top products but very questionable service and friendliness. I waited for the shop assistant who was serving a customer for 15 minutes and when it was my turn another person who wanted 20 caramels to take away passed me by. I wanted 1 for breakfast, I told him but he didn't even answer me. I left to have breakfast somewhere else. One star for the service because there is no less

25/11/2024: I met them while passing by for a day on business and I was immediately struck by the multipurpose environment (aperitif, lunch, dinner) and their welcome. The 3 sisters take turns with their children and convey a great passion. The choice of wines and beers is excellent to enhance the dishes which are prepared every day with fresh, excellent quality products. A place where you can feel at home at any time of the day. Every time I pass through those parts, I can't help but pass by theirs.

08/02/2025: Sicily inside a bar. All produced by them. A strong point and given the time I recommend breakfast, go on an empty stomach, the pastas are gigantic. The salty dishes are great and the fried foods are good. Well hurry up the stuff runs out.

28/03/2025: The steak has no tendons and is very tender and juicy. It is rare to eat such delicious steak in Europe. The Bolognese noodles are also very delicious.

01/12/2024: Cosy local bar, with amazing coffee and pastry. Bar owners are kind people and very skilled with cappuccino art! Also there is a cutest red cat named Garibaldi that you can find either in bar or at piazza and he is the main tourist attraction of the town! Don’t miss it!

26/01/2025: Not only good products but also a simple and genuine kindness of times gone by. On a cold January morning along the road that leads to the Abbey of San Galgano we stopped for a short break in this small bar. Very simple and spartan but welcoming place, wood stove lit, frank and kind manager. We also note that it is not simply a bar but also offers cold cuts and local wine. Returning from the visit, eager for a bit of warmth, we decide to stop and eat something, sitting in the heat near the stove. As I leave, however, I forget the wool hat, a gift from my wife, of which I am particularly fond. Unfortunately I realized it much later, too late to go back, also because the long journey back home awaited us. The next day, while tidying up, I come across the bar receipt and so I think of giving it a try. Not very convinced I call and ask if the hat has been found and if it is possible, perhaps, to have it sent to me. my expenses. The owner unexpectedly replied yes, simply saying, "don't worry, I'll package it well for you... some courier will pass through here in the next few days". Honestly, I didn't really believe it but, instead, after a few days the postman rang the intercom and asked me to go down and get a package... I thought it was one of the usual parcels from my children who now buy everything online... but instead I read on the envelope "Bar Frosini" and then I understand and, very happy, I immediately ask how much there is to pay: nothing already all paid! What can I say... THANK YOU VERY KIND... If you find yourself in those parts, stop in this bar... you will find a simple but welcoming place, a good platter of local products, good wine, in winter a very warm stove and a simple and frank but extremely kind manager.

26/01/2025: Saving stop before the Abbey of San Galgano. A spectacular platter of local cured meats and cheeses. I recommend the tart.. exceptional!!

16/02/2025: That was an unbelievable experience. First, the entry is from the middle ages, the rest is 25 centuries old- it is a stunning space, even for Tuscany. Second, the food was absolutely wonderful- especially the boar. Perfectly cooked, and so tasty- (and don't miss the flan di pecorino for the appetizer). The sommelier recommended a wonderful Tuscan wine to compliment both dishes. It's a bit off the beaten path, but was highly recommended by the hotel as much more authentic than we had chosen online, it's where he takes his wife for a special occasion. I highly recommend this spot, this is one I wish I could give 6 stars access the board. Check out the website, and make a reservation. It's not far from the plaza, but not much foot traffic.
