01/08/2024: Terrific!! We were lucky enough to be served by an extremely friendly woman - we were offered to try everything and the ice cream portions are not only extremely tasty but also HUGE!! We had to travel 20 minutes by car several times after the experience, not even the world champion ice cream in San Gimignano could keep up!! The tarts are also highly recommended,

17/05/2024: I had a quick breakfast two days in a row. I found the brioches very good and "abundant" Overall, the service was fast. So many customers that it makes you wait a bit, but the quality is not lacking. Fair price and friendliness. Too bad I didn't try the pastry shop. I will definitely return.

06/08/2024: I was there on an afternoon of bad weather together with my daughter and my friends, on 3 July 2024, we arrived in the early afternoon, there were very few people as the weather promised rain, the outside is very beautiful and well-kept , the panorama overlooking the Crete Senesi is fabulous. We stayed in the external pools for a while and then the strong storm arrived and we moved to the internal pool, then to the relaxation area, very beautiful and clean environments! The bar where we stopped for a nice aperitif before leaving was excellent!! Highly recommended!!!

07/08/2024: An excellent dinner… This restaurant is very nice and well-kept, the staff in the dining room are always attentive, kind and never intrusive. Let's start with some truly delicious fish appetizers to end the dinner with the second courses, fried fish cooked very well, turbot with caramelized onion? winning pairing Excellent quality raw materials...!!!

01/08/2024: We went for lunch for a birthday, the place is in good condition and well-kept, with references to marine environments. We opted for a seafood menu, the starters were a seafood salad that was too crunchy and not very tender and decidedly acidic, the creamed cod and only one mussel were very good. We chose three first courses with normal lobster, the calamari and prawn risotto creamed with cream (they say it is one of their specialities), the Venere rice with seafood, the best dish of the three. The grilled seafood where the cuttlefish was quite raw, the swordfish was cheap, and the prawns grilled without shell but with the intestines, same fate for the fried prawns with the intestines, to conclude the fried cod which was decidedly not fresh and stringy. I am very disappointed by the average quality of the fish given that it presents itself as a fish specialty restaurant and also by the very limited choice of wine list. I remind you not to have coffee! Cuisine and service are sacred and therefore mastery, love, ability and common sense are needed in pursuing a restaurant business and in recognizing the quality of the raw material. This review is an incentive to improve the service and quality offered so as not to forget the objective of catering, that is, eating well and making people feel good is the art of hospitality. 08/07/2024: No water in the bathroom, but the toilet works magically. Stood there with soapy hands. The waitress recommended using some paper towels to remove the soap. Asked for a beer, didn't get a glass...

19/08/2024: 10 minute wait, Without a soul that deigned to reveal itself. Empty place, chef who pretended not to see us and the waitress who had the courage to say that they were full and we couldn't eat dinner. Terrible on all points of view including the insistence of parking

19/08/2024: Recommended by a friend, it was immediately an excellent experience, Michele and his staff proved to be friendly and helpful, finding us a free table despite the late opening hours on the day of the Palio. Very rich menu including land dishes, pizza and cuts of meat of different varieties, we started with a platter of typical products of unique goodness, first courses always very abundant in the dishes and to finish a perfectly cooked cut of beef, all accompanied by a house red wine. A round of applause to the head nurse and the staff including Michele for their availability and professionalism. Competitive prices for the quality of the food and the service, certainly not one of those restaurants "for tourists" but on the contrary a typical place where you can eat really well and receive professional service, we will certainly return.

14/08/2024: Excellent trattoria where you can eat typical Tuscan dishes. The staff is very friendly. Even though the sign says pizzeria, they don't make pizza anymore.

01/09/2024: Excellent trattoria a stone's throw from Piazza del Campo. Generous portions, delicious dishes, very kind staff and service much faster than I thought, also given the amount of people who were there. It makes you want to return to Siena even just to come back here to eat.

09/08/2024: The service was very bad and the staff seemed very stressed and we felt very uninvited. Another negative point about the meal was that the bruschetta was burnt. We ordered 4 pizzas and were then told that they didn't have enough ingredients and could only make us 3 pizzas. This was very disappointing and the pizzas were just enough. When it came to paying, they forgot to take off the 4th pizza and no nice gesture like taking off the 2nd bruschetta didn't come all in one, it was really not worth recommending. Setup: 1/5 Food quality: 1.5/5 Staff:2/5

06/08/2024: Update 2024: I returned after several years and with joy I can not only still confirm what I wrote at the time, but the food has also improved. It remains an obligatory stop for me when I get to these parts. 2019: Happy discovery during a holiday in San Gimignano, I returned every evening for the entire week spent here. Friendly and helpful staff, very good and simple cuisine. It is possible to eat outside or inside with air conditioning present and turned on (from experiences this is not a given...). During the various dinners I was able to try various dishes, all excellent. I highly recommend this place!
