12/03/2026: Excellent café in the main square of Panzano in Chianti, offering homemade pastries and tarts. They also make excellent sandwiches and piadinas with a variety of cured meats and cheeses. The girl serving you is professional and cheerful, and they also offer products not in the display case. The coffee is good, and there are tables with comfortable chairs and restrooms. Excellent.

04/12/2025: We ate there twice during our short break. The service was excellent, and the owners were always very friendly and accommodating. Communication in English was also fluent.
The menu is extensive, and everything we tried (bread, antipasti, cheese, pastries) was delicious.

P.S.: The restroom was also very clean. :)

04/05/2026: Excellent, calm indoor seating right in the middle of a busy square. The pastries and coffee were very good. The service could be quicker, but we didn’t let it bother us. You just need to stand up and go pay. We visited three times.

09/05/2026: A quick business lunch. A nice, attractive place that raises high expectations. The dishes were of average quality, at least for the few orders and meals we made, namely two first courses. The pappa al pomodoro was pleasant, albeit a small quantity, while the potato gnocchi with four cheeses wasn't what I expected. The dish arrived and looked like a slop... the taste wasn't bad, but I think it needs more attention and effort. The staff was polite but not very cheerful.
09/05/2026: Avoid this restaurant if you want to feel welcome in Florence. The staff was rude from start to finish and made us feel like an inconvenience the entire time, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. We were constantly stared down and clearly being rushed for absolutely no reason.
While we were still paying and gathering our things, staff began crumpling things up in front of us and physically pulling tables into the area where we were sitting so nobody else could sit there. It was incredibly disrespectful and honestly one of the rudest dining experiences we’ve had while traveling.
To make matters worse, we realized afterward that we were overcharged by €10. Between the rude service, uncomfortable atmosphere, and incorrect bill, this place completely soured our experience. Florence has far too many incredible restaurants to spend your money somewhere that treats customers this poorly.

12/11/2025: A wonderful place to enjoy a light meal and the lovely piazza.
Food: The menu is concise and tailored to the restaurant's capabilities. The small dishes are excellently prepared and beautifully presented. I think the value for money is great.
Service: There's still some room for improvement. The waiters/waitresses are friendly, but not particularly attentive.
Atmosphere: The café thrives on its outdoor seating area, which is very inviting. Simple tables and chairs. But that's all it needs. Inside, it was too loud for me (the music).

19/02/2026: The best ice cream in Firenze, we can fully recommend! A friendly service, comfortable seating outside in the Street (with the nice flowerpots by side), lovely place to have a rest at during the long cultural day spent in this beautiful city. Sicilian Lemon ice cream is the top! 🙃

07/02/2026: It used to be an excellent pastry shop, completely devastated by the change of management. I had a piece of schiacciata fiorentina with cream. The whole thing was from the day before. Hard, bad, and poorly preserved, it deserves a complaint. I will never go there again.

04/05/2026: We ordered some gelato. We didn't expect much, as it's clear from the outside, even to the untrained eye, that this bar is the epitome of all Florence's tourist traps. Gelato starts at €6 for the smallest portion (which, mind you, is an average size, but for this very reason, customers aren't given the option of consuming it, because it's not a bar where you taste, but rather simply consume, a smaller portion of gelato). Furthermore, a condition I personally detest, the smallest cup (yes, the €6 one) can only hold one flavor of gelato. Two generous scoops of one flavor. But let's get to the flavor. I personally tried cookies. Fiordilatte with a very strong hint of butter. Nothing else. They praise the pieces of biscuit inside, but there's not a trace of them. Also on display are mountains of gelato, which are excessively large, leading me to believe they've been there for quite some time. The "non-freshness" of the fruit, such as strawberries and melon, is clearly visible (a poor Florentine fly, passing by the Ponte Vecchio, was resting tiredly on the latter and decided to stop at the gelato shop). The seating is reasonably comfortable, nothing more. Low expectations, very low reality. Eat your gelato elsewhere, trust me.
01/05/2026: Delicious ice cream: Nociola and Cookies were my favorite flavors, recommended by the friendly saleswoman.
However, €8 is too much for just two flavors.
