08/07/2026: We were excited about our dinner at Gucci Osteria to highlight our trip to Italy. To start, the restaurant was very accommodating with our food allergies which was greatly appreciated. Our dinner got off to a strange start as our server asked if we wanted to order without an explanation of the menu. The à la carte option lists menu items but it’s unclear which are first courses and second courses. Once we asked clarifying questions, we were then able to order. Unfortunately, the food doesn’t deliver and not even close to the prices or being worthy of a star. I started with a salad and it was so bitter I could hardly eat it. To follow, I had a scallop entree that was awkwardly presented and seemed like a jumble of ingredients. There are many other fantastic local restaurants in Florence, I’d avoid this one as it’s not delivering.

04/07/2026: We've been guests several times and have never been treated like this! The dining room manager was beyond reproach: despite having mentioned our complete phobia of any type of poultry or poultry products during the reservation process and reiterating it at the table upon arrival, they didn't bother, as always happens, to prepare an alternative to a dish on the quick menu that didn't contain a chicken-based product. When the dish was brought to the table, my wife asked for clarification, which took a long time to arrive (as one does in a Michelin-starred restaurant without knowing the ingredients), and we were starting to have a panic attack. The very clean-shaven staff, rather than worrying about the situation and trying to remedy it, decided to escort us out of the room so as not to disturb the other diners!!!! Pure madness, bordering on rudeness. Their only thought, despite our insistence, was to continue for several minutes, not to charge us, as if that would solve the problem. The blame game then bordered on the ridiculous. I only have one question: why wasn't a menu adjustment planned in advance based on what was reported? Indifference? Absolute lack of attention?

24/06/2026: Sorry, but with pigeons on the outdoor tables that aren't cleaned, the only thing you need to do is notify the local health authority. Please comply with basic hygiene and sanitation regulations.

12/11/2025: A wonderful place to enjoy a light meal and the lovely piazza. Food: The menu is concise and tailored to the restaurant's capabilities. The small dishes are excellently prepared and beautifully presented. I think the value for money is great. Service: There's still some room for improvement. The waiters/waitresses are friendly, but not particularly attentive. Atmosphere: The café thrives on its outdoor seating area, which is very inviting. Simple tables and chairs. But that's all it needs. Inside, it was too loud for me (the music).

09/05/2026: Avoid this restaurant if you want to feel welcome in Florence. The staff was rude from start to finish and made us feel like an inconvenience the entire time, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. We were constantly stared down and clearly being rushed for absolutely no reason. While we were still paying and gathering our things, staff began crumpling things up in front of us and physically pulling tables into the area where we were sitting so nobody else could sit there. It was incredibly disrespectful and honestly one of the rudest dining experiences we’ve had while traveling. To make matters worse, we realized afterward that we were overcharged by €10. Between the rude service, uncomfortable atmosphere, and incorrect bill, this place completely soured our experience. Florence has far too many incredible restaurants to spend your money somewhere that treats customers this poorly.

09/05/2026: A quick business lunch. A nice, attractive place that raises high expectations. The dishes were of average quality, at least for the few orders and meals we made, namely two first courses. The pappa al pomodoro was pleasant, albeit a small quantity, while the potato gnocchi with four cheeses wasn't what I expected. The dish arrived and looked like a slop... the taste wasn't bad, but I think it needs more attention and effort. The staff was polite but not very cheerful.

04/05/2026: Excellent, calm indoor seating right in the middle of a busy square. The pastries and coffee were very good. The service could be quicker, but we didn’t let it bother us. You just need to stand up and go pay. We visited three times.

19/02/2026: The best ice cream in Firenze, we can fully recommend! A friendly service, comfortable seating outside in the Street (with the nice flowerpots by side), lovely place to have a rest at during the long cultural day spent in this beautiful city. Sicilian Lemon ice cream is the top! 🙃
