31/07/2024: Tourist trap, don't go here! 3 coffees (between 5 and 7€!! / piece), 3 croissants (3.5/piece) and 3 ice Teas (6€/piece) for a total of 50€. Even at Santa Maria de Fiora, there is no shop that charges these prices. Downright scandalous!!!

20/07/2024: Quality, professionalism and courtesy. Excellence of Tuscan hospitality. A pleasant environment for a coffee break and more. Splendid outdoor space on Piazza Unità d'Italia a few steps from Santa Maria Novella, the gateway to the historic center towards San Lorenzo and the Medici Chapels, the Cathedral in Santa Maria del Fiore and Giotto's Bell Tower. A pleasant place that takes Florence back to the era of the great cafés. Congratulations to Aldo Cursano and his staff.

13/08/2024: Waiters were horrible and fairly rude. When asking for water- they said to “go inside as they have better things to do”. When asking to pay they refused card so we had to source a cash machine in order to pay.

12/08/2024: Super tasty! Sure a little more expensive, but come on, we are in the middle of Florence. And I also treated myself to the truffle pizza for €18. Can't say anything - it was simply delicious! And the service was also quick, friendly and attentive.

28/06/2024: Кафе, работающие многое годы в центре любого города имеют явное преимущество перед всеми прочими - они проверены временем. Потому, если вас как и меня застигнет дождь в центре Флоренции - рекомендую вам именно это джелатерию.

24/06/2024: Staff unhelpful. Poor service. Food average. When it came to paying the bill we tried twice to pay but chaotic. Ended up having to queue with lots of children buying cakes and the prices bore no resemblance to the menu prices (significantly higher). I suspect they take advantage of tourists. Would not recommend at all.

27/07/2024: Average buffet food, nothing special. It's not one of those places that impresses. Good (not exceptional) cocktails and wide choice!

07/07/2024: Coca Cola zero expired… The drinks are too strong. I don't recommend it.

23/04/2024: Rude and Nasty service doesn't begin to describe this place..Sadly the Gelato is good..but they underfill and over charge..the cup is flat on top? What Ice cream place does that? And for 7 euros?? I have been here over 12 times in the past year..gets worse..the manager or owner definitely demonstrates the rudeness..I am Italian and this doesn't represent the culture..Create a friendly atmosphere and fill the darn cup up..They rely on their location..not on their customer service..

06/07/2024: This store treated Asian tourists differently, telling us that only cash was accepted, but telling European tourists that both cash and credit cards were accepted.

03/07/2024: I came in on Monday at 1pm we chose two simpler things that were displayed in the window, focaccia with tomato and mozzarella but unfortunately imaginable as hard as stones I either opened it inside completely rotten salad or pointed out to me that they arrive ready in any case the I Lio money given to their professionals less than 0 rude staff then we complain that the locals don't work if they are treated like a fish in the face let's ask ourselves why

06/08/2024: Wat een lekkere koffie op de hoek van Giovan Battista Zannoni. Ook het broodje caprese heeft goed gesmaakt! En heel vriendelijk geholpen door Christian. Top!

30/07/2024: Sehr nette Bedienung, Preise für den Marktplatz absolut in Ordnung! und Christian war ein sehr hilfsbereiter sympathischer Gastgeber(Eigentümer). Für ein spätes Frühstück sehr zu empfehlen.

23/08/2024: Posti come questo dovrebbero chiudere!!!!!!! Allego scontrino fiscale per 2 pezzi e sottolineo pezzi di pizza margherita senza bevande. Dovreste sprofondare 12€. CHE POI FOSSE IN PIAZZA DELLA SIGNORIA MA NEANCHE PERCHÈ DAVANTI AL CAMPANILE DI GIOTTO UNA MARGHERITA INTERA STAVA A 13.50€. VERGOGNA!!!!!! Capisco perché non ho visto alcun prezzo esposto.

08/08/2024: Son unos estafadores que abusan de los turistas. Hay que estar muy atento a lo que te cobran. Compre una galleta a mi hijo en la zona de pastelería y el de caja primero me cobra de más incluso habiendo oído que la dependienta le indica el precio correcto. Hace ver que se ha equivocado y me ofrece de nuevo el datáfono. Está vez, confiado, pago sin mirar. Al comprobar el cargo veo que me ha cobrado el triple del precio. Vuelvo al local y solo verme ya saca el diferencial diciendo que pensaba que era por tres. Un estafador. No quiero ni pensar en la cantidad de veces que lo debe hacer. Comprueba siempre que el precio de lo que has consumido corresponde con lo que te cobran.

28/05/2024: The coffee is good, something I can't say the same about the staff and their sweets. I ordered a glazed donut, which when they served me it was clearly from the day before (at least), when I told them, the solution was to heat it up, instead of giving me another one. I left it there of course, it was hard as a rock. The service is terrible and the food even worse. I don't recommend it, it shouldn't even be open to the public if they are going to give out spoiled food. I hope that in the future they improve the staff and of course the state of the food.

09/05/2024: A stone's throw from Santa Maria Novella station in Florence. Delicious sandwiches, excellent service. The very nice staff attentive to customers' needs, especially the bartender. I highly recommend it

19/07/2024: Super leckeres Eis zu fairen Preisen. Eine Sorte 6,50€ oder 8€ und für 10€ drei Sorten Das Eis ist super gut in Sahneeis oder Sorbet

30/06/2024: Café restaurant en bout de pont. Halte appréciée. Nous y a avons été deux fois pour déjeuner et une autre fois au moment du goûter. Service gracieux et rapide en terrasse par serveuse souriante et qui fait un effort pour comprendre le français. Paiement au comptoir. Les toilettes au sous-sol pourraientt être plus pratiques.

12/08/2024: I had a sandwich, drink and tiramisu it came to 15 Euros and didn't find it that pricey. I went upstairs and she sat me at a table that overlooked the Ponte Vecchio. After I ate I asked for the bill and before I went back down stairs the waitress said if I wanted to leave a tip to leave it with her. I thought it was tacky to ask for a tip, especially since it is not in the Italian culture so I didn't leave one as I walked away she swore at me, I speak enough Italian to know what she said... Sad that people act like that.

28/07/2024: I do not recommend. They are not serious and do not like tourists. The Italians serve in front of us, with the greatest impudence and without justification. They make it difficult for us to choose flavors, making us believe that they don't understand anything we say, even when we point to the flavor. And finally, the bill does not match what was requested. An authentic robbery! 27 euros for 3 ice creams (two of them with 3 flavors and the third with two flavors).

20/07/2024: I higly recommend that you go somewhere else! They sell MOLDY pastries! My daughter already ate half of her donut before noticing that the bottom was covered with mold. The guy on the counter blamed me for being a stubid customer and not realizing it is just chocolate or some moist frim the fridge?! 😂😂 He did eventually give us a more fresh one, but not even once did he apologize.

17/08/2024: Bar in the center of Florence. The coffees made very well, the croissants delicious and truly filling. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Excellent for breakfast.

16/08/2024: We stayed at the Medici hotel (5 meters away), and they told us that they did not have a breakfast bar, but that this cafeteria was right next door. We went to breakfast and ordered 2 coffees with milk (normal) and a chocolate Neapolitan (small and not good) and a croissant (basic). We were surprised by the speed of the waitresses in serving us everything and when we finished breakfast we already realized why. They charged us almost 5 euros to bring us breakfast from the bar to the table that was 1 meter away... 2 coffees2 pieces of pastries for 15 euros. What a scam and deception!!! Clearly, the hotel and this cafe have some interest in common.... Don't go!
